  5. This thread will showcase the background and development of Hispanic siblings living out of East Los Santos. The main perspective will be that of Isabella Arias with supporting development from her brother Cesar Arias. Backstory Isabella/Bella is the oldest of three siblings at aged 23. Miguel, the middle child, would be aged 22 if he were still alive today. Cesar is the youngest sibling at aged 19. After the youngest of the three siblings was born their Father walked out on the family. The family got by for the first ten or so years until their Mothers undiagnosed diabetes started developing into more serious issues which forced her to quit work. As a result the three siblings felt an immense pressure to provide for themselves and their family at a young age with Bella being only 17 about to start her final two years of high school. Bella managed to get her final two years of high school education put on hold by contacting the school board about her situation. She used these two years to work three part time jobs bringing in all the money she could for the family whilst saving a little on the side. Her brothers on the other hand took to the streets becoming entwined with the gang lifestyle, within a year they were selling drugs and tagging up the neighbourhood to make a name for themselves at ages 16 and 14. Bella was soon back to school to finish her final two years of education late. During this time she didn't really speak to her brothers as much as they used to before the street life took over and made their opinions differ drastically. Despite this she still offered her compassion and guidance where she could but often felt scared to express her opinions in front of the gang. After her late graduation in 2020 she took a job as a family care worker going through a few months training to earn her qualifications. This was a job she felt close to home as it was revolved around providing support to families suffering through illness, poverty and such, much like her own family had when she was growing up. Life was fairly smooth from this point on, Isabella's wage was enough to support herself and her mother in the family apartment. Her brothers also contributed dirty money to the family that they earnt through the streets. This was still something Isabella didn't agree with and could see how her brothers were shifting into darker versions of themselves over the years. Eventually Isabella's worst nightmare struck true when Miguel was shot in a drive-by shooting on the road in front of the Arias' apartment in early October 2022. This would cause Isabella to put in a resignation at work and spend the next four months processing the grief the entire family were going through. Her brother Cesar dealt with the grief his own way choosing to delve deeper into his life of drugs and booze to numb the pain he was feeling. This leads the family into 2023 present day where the two remaining siblings still don't see eye to eye on a number of subjects. Bella is now trying to settle down and find a new career in the Emergency Services industry whilst Cesar navigates his way through the gang life of East Los Santos.

    The Haydens

This thread will show the development of The Hayden Family, a middle-class Caucasian family originating from Paleto Bay and their development after their arrival in the city. There will be a mixture of legal, illegal and grey area roleplay displayed here, and potentially 18+ themes. THE HAYDEN BROTHERS Christopher, Oliver and Robert Hayden were born in Paleto Bay in the late 70s and 80s. They were raised in a suburban, small town family home by their parents; a successful corporate lawyer and a stay-at-home Mom. To the community they were highly respected members of the church and were always welcomed by other households in the town. However, behind closed doors, their Father had a cocaine addiction and frequently engaged in affairs, while their Mother was meek about it, letting it happen aside from the weekly arguments. Despite the turbulent home life, all three Hayden brothers did well at school and were competent young men by their teenage years, though Oliver struggled to keep up with his brothers without hours of study. Christopher was first to graduate and moved to Connecticut after being accepted to study at Yale, where he remains to this day as a surgeon. Oliver graduated shortly afterwards, though remained in Paleto, marrying his high school sweetheart and getting a job in the local grocery store. Robert graduated and made the move to New York to study Architecture at Cornell University, receiving a masters degree. Oliver was considered the black sheep of the family, his career seeming meaningless to his Father in comparison to his brothers. However, he made up for his lack of natural intelligence with drive, determined to be better than his siblings and to provide for his first child, Francis. This drive led him to a managerial position at the same grocery store by the time he was 25. He was later offered a job working as the HR manager at the local chicken factory where he continued to work until 2022. Meanwhile, Robert's cocky and brash attitude led him to start his own practice immediately after graduating in New York, rather than gaining more experience in the field under an employer. It was only a few years of work before the firm collapsed, leaving Robert with much debt, a bad reputation in the industry, and for the first time in his life, the disappointment of his Father. From here, he jumped around the US, seeking jobs with employers that hadn’t heard of his ventures, while struggling to pay off his debt. THE NEXT GENERATION During these events, Oliver and his wife, Luisa, had two more children, Philip and Angelique. Despite his initial intentions, the constant clawing hands needing cash turned Oliver resentful and his attitude became cold like his Father. He felt it was important to keep appearances, but inside the home he was often bitter and angry, resulting in the occasional affair and verbal abuse of the kids. Some of the children adapted better to these home conditions than others. Francis was considered the golden boy of the family, going to San Fierro college to study Mechanical Engineering and doing so with a football scholarship for his athletic achievement at Paleto High. Though, he had a passion for art, which he ignored after growing up in a household that suggested this line of work at a successful level was unachievable. His second son, Philip, was often disappointing to Oliver, always settling at school and never looking to improve himself, no matter how many times he was warned of the consequences of not succeeding in life. He had struggled with anger since he was a child, which Oliver and Luisa didn't know how to handle, leading Philip to a life mostly out of the home with bad influences that he believed understood him. He moved out as soon as he was able to. However, Oliver found the most conflict in his only daughter, as she seemed to inherit his knack for business, but not necessarily his work ethic. Angel would find her own way of doing things, which often involved partying and reckless dating, the worst part being that she seemed to have potential. Not knowing how to handle the complexities of having a daughter, much of Angel's parenting was left to Luisa, and occasionally, Uncle Robert, who despite his flaws, was often more of a voice of reason to the children than their own Father was. By early 2023, Luisa had sadly passed away at a young age from illness, leaving Oliver as a single parent to the children and now in similar shoes as his younger brother, accumulating thousands of medical debt. Robert, on the other hand, was on the come up, having paid off most of his debt due to a stable position in a firm for the past twelve years. His desire for self-employment and independence has resurfaced as he decides to make the move back to his home state of San Andreas, applying for a teaching position at ULSA as starting capital for what could later be his own business. Oliver had also decided to make the move to Los Santos after selling his Paleto family home, seeking to take his business ideas from concept to reality and distract himself from the grief of losing his wife. He also hopes to reconnect with his younger brother and children, all of them currently in the city living as they see fit.
  7. Bohdan Anderson was born in Liberty City's Broker, 1997, to a John and Mary Angelo. Life wasn't easy, and in fact was unbearable at times. His father was ran off the road by a drunk driver in 1998 and killed on impact. His mother fell to heroin addiction and died later in 1999. Bohdan spent the majority of his childhood, alone. Put into foster care later that year, he was picked up by the Anderson family a few months later and was raised in a socioeconomically rich neighbourhood. Bohdan knew very little of his biological parents, and chooses not to speak of them - purely for ease of conversation. Marcus Anderson was an influential business owner in Liberty City's booming metropolitan heart, he ran and managed many social clubs across the city whilst his wife, Sally Anderson was the stay at home element of the relationship. Albeit he was raised by a family, it was a strict one - a family that lived by a code and set of rules, one that instilled loyalty to those you work with. He was beaten as a child, and forced to live a life of which was filled with uncertainty. A tragic tale that will surely end in a cataclysmic fashion.

  10. Long story short, give official factions a forum usergroup for their members so PD can be PD, SD as SD, DOJ as DOJ, FD as FD, GOV as GOV, Conti as Conti, Paisa Car as Paisa Car, Eme as Eme, etc, it would be a cool feature to have. It's nothing that has a drastic positive or negative change, nor is it a primary function needed but it's just for the aesthetic. Just to clarify it'd show as a forum rank.

    Smuggling

Smuggling Detailed description:Smuggling, a prequest for Gun/Drug importing, the system would work alongside or replace the current method of importing Guns/Drugs. Rather than Guns/Drugs appearing in warehouses through an act of god, They would be fractionally or entirely dependant on imports, less so for some things than others. I.E you are not gonna grow cocoa (cocaine) in Los Santos that can only be imported/smuggled. Weed, guns and other similar things would have a element of it being smuggled in, however their will always be a home presence for this stuff (Home growers, stolen weapons with numbers removed). What we would suggest is having a system similar to the current weapon/drug import system Requiring people to apply on the forums to be a “Smuggler” giving rp reason and story behind them being this. These smugglers would evidently need to have vehicles and connections to make the logistics work, planes or boats as an example and connections both in county and foreign to be able to import/smuggle this stuff in and get rid of it. The IC/IG way this would work is that you would have smuggling factions similar to gang factions however rather than trying to own turf and become involved in gang based illegal activities they would be focused on keeping their heads below the radar and shipping in illegal goods for profit. Import goods could be broke down into two varieties. Street: Weed, Pistol, Sns Pistol, .50 Pistol, Vintage Pistol, Machine Pistol, A.P Pistol, MicroSMG Mini SMG, Shotgun, Sawn-off Import:Coke, Heroin, Smg, Assault Rifle, Carbine Rifle, vests, cuban cigars, Bullshark Tesosteron The Street ones would be attainable directly for gangs, meaning they do not need it smuggled in by a 3rd party but would be able to get it potentially at a lower price in bulk from smugglers. The Imports would only be attainable via smugglers, these smugglers would get the goods when ordered by 3rd party (i.e street gang) and get rid of them ASAP The mechanics of this would be simple, have certain locations be “spawnable points” for the package, both for the Smugglers and street gangs. The Smugglers locations would be remote islands/at sea and need bringing back to the island and then getting to the final party (person who ordered it) The street gangs who get their goods via “street” means would potentially have remote locations on island as pickup points for them to collect said goods from. In both cases the containers would be sealed and you would get no use from them until getting them to their final destination. Commands to add: /CP (/CollectPackage) /LP (/LoadPackage) /UP (/UnloadPackage) Items to add: “Packages” box to be collected with goods in. ,Boat trailer for cars/vans, allowing smugglers to take their boats to the most logical place to sail from. How would your suggestion improve the server? These suggestions would add a level of realism to the weapons and drugs on the streets being difficult to get. The opportunities for roleplay would be greatly expanded as it would give county Sheriff’s work in the remoter locations, the city police would be able to try running checkpoints etc. to try prevent them getting into the city, SEB/FIB could have operations and investigations to try and catch these smugglers/gangs in the act. All of these allowing for more meaningful and impactful roleplay rewards for good policing. This would also give the air units of LEO more reasons to take out helicopters and potentially even reason for naval trained units with boats. As for the gangs and none LEO’s, the basic civilian won’t be affected apart from occasionally seeing a checkpoint or something. The gangs that currently exist would have far more realistic roleplay for obtaining illegal goods that involves active gang interaction and a realistic risk of being caught red handed. The smugglers who bring in the “foreign” import goods would be the most affected as this would give them an ability to do work of some kind that makes sense RP wise and would also create interaction opportunities. This would allow for effective law enforcement to affect the criminal economy of the world. This would also allow for more meaningful intergang interactions of a violent nature, i.e Mexicans trying to jack the Russians as they are bringing back a van load of gear. Additional information: The crates would only be loadable in appropriate vehicles, i.e you wouldn’t be trying to sneak guns into the hood with a supercar. The smugglers would have to remain independent from gangs and should not be associated with them in any way other than selling them goods. A potential discount for smugglers who get approved for certain vehicles (Boats and certain planes) As good smugglers keep a low profile this might see an increase in bribery attempts and the use of Hush money, Both of which are criminally underused currently. On this map are some rough ideas for placements of some “package” pickup points Yellow: Street/gang based pickup points. Blue: Smuggler pickup points. (for the smugglers points anywhere in the sea could work too. This is an idea from Horratio Totsen and myself.
  12. -Carson Clique- how did it start: Max is a Greek that flew over to America to escape the Greek Police chasing him down. After getting to Los Santos, he found his cousin. After Max tried to go back to his old lifestyle and joining a gang with his cousin, he understood that most of the big gangs were based on the race and if someone that wasn't their race tried to join, they would say no or even disrespect him by humiliating him or robbing him. As more and more people were facing the same difficulties as Max, the need for a new, multiracial, organization came up. Max started recruiting loyal and honest people to start his faction. Max and his people faced lots of difficulties, like them getting robbed, kidnaped and shot multiple times. They made it through most of them and now that their numbers have grown, they won't take any more disrespect. They are ready to rule the city and the drug game. what are the goals and what makes us unique: The Goals of the organization is to have a steady income of distributing drugs/illegal firearms in the Rancho area, which means that we will have to control the area 100%. Also when we grow on numbers we will contact big cartels that can provide us with huge amounts of cocaine, weed and illegal guns. Later on, if we completely concur Rancho, we will try to get Grove street and other parts of the town. What makes us unique is that we will accept people based only on their character and not their race without losing the trust of the members to each other or the leaders. More information: The main leaders of the gang are: Maximos Katsopidis Juan Garcia The number of the gang is: 23 ooc: - If you want to join you will have to be decent at English, or at least (if not) role play as an immigrant. You will have to contact anyone of the leaders or the staff members of the faction ( leaders are mention in the ic tab and staff members change all the time so we cant write them here) - If you want to you should read the Faction information Tab on the forums (https://forum.gta.world/en/index.php?/forum/7-faction-information/) so you can be informed of your rights and the rules.

    Indictment CK

Indictment CK I have a suggestion that in my opinion will change the whole outlook of Police-Illegal Faction RP, the way each factions roleplay with each other, their members, and it will improve the effectiveness of the police against organised crime (illegal factions). My suggestion is to create an Indictment CK system. Indictments are of course charges made against a person, or persons with claims of serious crimes. Using laws, and such, like the RICO Act, the Police would have the option to get search warrants, warrants for wiring a house, people, and other things like that. They can offer caught mobsters that they either give up their friends, and help the Police at court/wire them, or they get Indictment CK. Wiring would mean that a person, or a house has cameras, or sound recorders. Of course, these need to be roleplayed to be hidden at places, and screenshots need to be taken about placing them. Warrants are also needed to place these, which could be requests to Faction Management with a basis of course that the place to be wired is a place of criminal activities. If proven, the police could get the equipment, and place it in the house, hiding it. These don’t need to be actual items, or they could be implemented like that. These could be simply roleplayed, but of course, everything needs to be screenshotted, so that no metagaming is involved. Indictment CK would work like this: The Police gather evidence like photographs, voice recordings (these are screenshots, of course), items, witness reports, and so on, and so on. With these, they gather proof against persons of interest to be indicted. After that, there could be a trial (this could lead to a lawyer career to be created on the server, as well) which can either decide of the character gets „CKed” or not. Of course, I don’t mean a literal CK, I mean getting a life sentence that is essentially like a CK. This could not only improve the Police’s chances against criminal organisations, and create great RP opportunities, but it could also mean that a lot of people will stop randomly robbing, and pillaging around the server, as they could be reported, and in time, they might get a life sentence that can basically CK them, forcing them to change their logic, or stop completely. It might take some time, and effort to create this feature, but if it is done, the RP qualities of the server would improve a lot, and the Police could get a lot more chances, and power against the criminals (since it’s obvious that the criminals overpower the Police at this moment on the server).
