  1. THE BOUNTY HUNTER BLOODS In the streets of Roy Lowenstein and surrounding areas in Los Santos, a notorious street gang known as the Bounty Hunter Watts Bloods has been prominent, since its establishment in 1969. Originating under the name Green Jackets, by founders Gary Barker and Bobby Jack, the gang evolved over the decades. The Bounty Hunter Bloods are known for enduring an intense rivalry with the Grape Street Watts Crips, experts describe their wars as one of the most violent clashes in the region. In 1993 a member, Regis Deon Thomas, fatally shot two Police Department officers during a routine traffic stop. Other incidents, involve the 1997 school bus shooting that claimed an innocent bystanders life, and the 2003 clashes with the Police Department. With many members and various subsets like the Lot Boys and Tray Line, the gang's affiliation with the Bloods is evident through the colour red, hand signs, and tattoos. Members are known to tattoo themselves with the letters "B" and "H" which refer to "Bounty Hunters" and also use the letters in hand signs. BOUNTY HUNTER BLOODS VS GRAPE STREET CRIPS The famous urban peace treaty of 1992 between the Bounty Hunter Watts Bloods and Grape Street Crips has officially crumbled. This peace treaty aimed to reduce the deaths of innocents and shootings between these rival gangs, has now given way to an increase in violence. This has resulted in a series of shootings of unending retaliation from both sides. The community, burdened by a history of gang related violence, now suffers from a rise in deadly shootouts, further complicating efforts to maintain order. The escalating situation causes issues for the community, for example, recent incidents, such as the tragic killing of Jason Harrison, an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire of mounting tensions. This incident shows the destructive impact from the end of the treaty. Tensions rising within the region, as the neighbourhoods endure a level of violence not witnessed since the initial signing of the peace treaty in 1992. The end of the truce has not only reignited issues between the gangs, but has also exposed a leadership void within the Grape Street Crips and Bounty Hunter Bloods, leaving the neighbourhood in a state of uncertainty. Challenges of restoring peace and stability in this troubled area has become complex. The Bounty Hunter Watts Bloods during the beef are developing under new leadership, with resources crippled from the aftermath the gang looks for new ways to profit amongst the violence and return to the streets. RIVALS & ALLIES Bounty Hunter Bloods rivals include Grape Street Crips, Ten Line Gangster Crips, Holmes Street Watts Crips, Bacc Street Watts Crips, Front Street Watts Crips, Fudge Town Mafia Crips, 117 Street Watts Crips, 108 Watts Neighborhood Crips, East Coast Crips and all Compton Crips. BHB have a close alliance with Hacienda Village Bloods and Circle City Pirus and very rarely with PJs Watts Crips, due to their common hatred for Grape Street Crips. Members have also been seen together with other members of multiple other Blood sets. TRAY LINE The Smash Gang Clique is a fairly new clique, and the biggest clique in the Bounty Hunter Bloods group, created by KaydoOsama and others, made up of younger members. The name of this clique explains a lot, they are the main shooters of the gang and they take all of the consequences behind it. The clique houses multiple hood trophies, shooters and money oriented individuals and incarcerated members down in Bolingbroke Penitentiary. The clique is now formed by the youngest members of the gang who were left behind after the Operation Bounty Hunter, performed by the Sheriff Department's OSS Unit. LOT BOYZ Lot Boyz Clique is one of the older cliques that suffered from a loss in members due to socioeconomic reasons and the aftermath of the rivalry with Grape Street Crips. The clique is believed to be ran by VonWicK, rumours are that the male is also one of the main figures in Bounty Hunter Bloods leadership. Although not as ruthless as the Smash Gang Clique, members of Lot Boyz are known to have been involved in notorious robberies and deadly shootings. It is common knowledge that multiple members of this clique are involved in the music industry.
  2. Denton "Steezo" Malone, previous nickname "Infant Steezo", appeared first in a beer robbery in the late 2006s. Denton lived in the Eastside Fudge Town Mafia Crips territory, 107th Roy Lowenstien Boulevard with his grandmother. It wasn't long before Denton was introduced to the gang life. Maintaining control of his neighbourhood at a young age, Denton was no stranger throughout his hood. Denton was inspired by other gang members and it was only before long that Denton would be known to be a huge problem to the society he lived in. Denton was always on the wrong side of the Law Enforcement, being placed in jail numerous amounts of times. To date, Denton is the stronghold and shotcaller of the Eastside Fudge Town Mafia Crips gang. Denton is also one of the youngest shotcallers that the Fudge Town Mafia Crips have, controlling the neighbourhood alongside his homie, Julius "Looney" Clarke.
  3. OOC INFORMATION Our goal is to accurately portray a Hispanic street gang. Our focus is strictly roleplay and every decision leadership and members make should be done in character. We aim to create an environment in which character development comes first and foremost. Characters should not be born shooters who lack emotion, characters/players found to have poor portrayal, lack of personality, or a shoot first mentality will swiftly be warned or removed from the group. Those who are looking to join should portray young Hispanic teens from Amarillo Vista St. in El Burro as all recruitment will be done in character. We are open to any and all constructive criticism, as it is the best way for us to improve our roleplay, thread, and concept. Lastly, this is of our own creation and we do not aim to portray the real life Brown Pride Surenos. If you have any questions please contact OOC leadership: @jibjammin @HyDru (This thread is still under construction, and is subject to change with plans to expand it)
  4. YOU PLAY, YOU PAY Daniel Parada Daniel Parada was born into a broken home, with his father incarcerated for 2x Second Degree murder, and his divorced mother addicted to heroin. At a young age, Daniel was forced into a parental role, taking care of his younger sister while his mother neglected them both. Daniel often looked to his father for guidance, frequenting visits at the Bolingbroke State Penitentiary. Whilst juggling between academics and family, Daniel found himself a sense of power within the controlling El Monte Flores gang, where he racked "Spider" as his placa due to his lanky legs. Over the next few years of Daniel's life, he made the set a priority over education, often bunking classes and eventually flunking out of high school in his last year. The income Daniel had received throughout his years within the set had given him enough money to move out of his mother's house and into his own, partly accompanied by his sister who had moved between homes often. On the night of 21 April 20XX, Daniel and a a homie of his had decided that the conditions were suitable for them to hit a lick on a random female, who had turned out to be an off-duty police officer. After flunking the robbery, the duo had took to running, sprinting through the alleys of Bridge Street, before turning a corner and into a cruiser. They were both shortly detained and later arrested, serving Daniel with 1x Armed Robbery, 1x Possession of an illegal firearm and 1x Resisting Arrest. During his stay at the Correctional Facility, Daniel had provided his camaradas with poorly-designed tattoos, created by a makeshift tattoo machine. Daniel was able to pursue his creative interests, while simultaneously making a profit via commissary. Not only did he focus on tattoos, he had also focused much of his attention on programming, increasing his muscle mass. Maya Parada Maya Parada, younger sister to Daniel, shared the same upbringing as her older brother. Her father being incarcerated and her mother would neglect the pair, choosing to feed her addiction rather than caring for her children. This would feed into Daniel ending up being her only parental figure, as he looked after her. Though, Maya was born and raised on Bridge Street. This would influence her drastically, despite her brother attempting to keep her away from the local gang as best as he could. She would be pushed by her older brother to focus on her academics, and stay away from the gang lifestyle, though her personal desires would be the opposite of what her brother wished. Looking up to him, she would pick up some of his creative side, though opting to display this talent through the use of a spray can rather than a tattoo needle. Taking great care in her artwork, she would practice designs at home, refining her craft.
  5. El Hoyo Maravilla is the most notorious and considered the originating Maravilla gang. It's physical location was referred to as the hole because of the lower terrain in which it was situated. Tracing it's roots to the 1920's and having the distinction of surrendering 17 members to the Mexican Mafia ranking. The Maravilla gang is recognized for their contribution and their resistance to the Mexican Mafia. From the mid 1950's to the 2000's there has existed a dysfunctional love and hate relationship between Maravilla and the Mexican Mafia. The love began in the early years following the formation of the Mexican Mafia, Maravilla gang members were one of the first to come on board. The first prison death by the Mexican Mafia was carried out by a member of Maravilla. In early years the largest numerical Mexican Mafia representation in Los Santos prisons were from the various gangs of Maravilla and as such they were held in high esteem and they considered themselves self appointed emeseries of the chicano prison population. High ranking members of the Mexican Mafia from Maravilla were later supplanted and resented their now subservient role on the yard. After the incident relations between the Maravilla and the Mexican Mafia soured. Stabbings and feuds became more recent and Maravilla members were now joining the newly formed Nuestra Familia, later retaliating against Mexican Mafia members. The Nuestra Familia ties didn't last long. Convicts from the Maravilla were getting released and the older members began to spread the anti Eme sentiment within the Maravilla neighborhoods. Members are proud of their Maravilla roots and were close nit with each other, believing the reports of La Eme declaring war on them. Since most members of La Eme at the time were originating from the Maravilla they refrained from placing the green light on them. In the early 1990's Maravilla gangs openly claimed their oppesition to the Mexican Mafia, calling themselves Maravillosos (The Marvelous Ones), using ''Tax Free'' in their gang graffiti. The Eme swiftly replied to the claims, targeting Maravilla members throughout the prison system and turning all Sureno gangs against them. Los Santos Central Jail began to house Maravilla gang members within their own module, to decrease the violence. A member of the Maravilla gang was asked to attend a meeting held by La Eme to discuss the unification of gangs for the purpose of halting drive by's. It was discovered the MV member came armed with a pistol, leaving the Maravilla's on the green light list. Maravilla was officially brought into the fold in 2000 by Fernando 'Spider' Perez from Arizona Maravilla, a very senior Mexican Mafia member. Perez was transferred from state prison to LA county and was able to use his considerable seniority to begin the process of conciliating the Eme and Maravilla, and having Maravilla removed from ‘the lista’. For 20 years, Perez has ruled over an empire of all the Maravilla neighborhoods in East LA, who are considered Sureños and are with the ‘program’ (which includes paying tax). Despite Spider's efforts, there are still a few remaining opposers to the Eme rule, those few remain on the list. Due to Spider's success he gained control over all territories of the Maravilla, all from within his prison cell on death row. Fudge Lane MaraVilla consists mostly of freshly inducted members, whilst only having a handful of veteranos at the gangs command. A new clique called Fudge Lane Locos (FLL) has emerged, showing more and more activity every day. You have members that drug deal, not only in East LA but now using their social media platforms to venture out and orcestrate deals. This comes as no surprise as most of the gang members are now of age to Legally drive. Some are more ruthless as they would plot, then finally hold their victims at gunpoint. The gang exercises in a mix variety of low and high level criminal activities with some having already paid the price for this. Any member that had to do time would fall in line and programme with the Surenos up state. This is after the green light era when Fernando 'Spider' Perez, a high ranking La Eme member helped get MaraVilla barrios taken off the lista (No longer greenlit) and brought back into the fold in the 2000s. A FLL gang member would normally be identified by the black bandana rag they would carry, worn mostly around the neck or around the shoulders. The clique also represents their set by wearing Atlanta Falcons & Miami Marlins sported hats, signifying the F and M.
  6. Foundations of a Menace - The Jamestown Projects. The Jamestown Projects were constructed in the late 1950's, this being only a few years after 18th Street had made a presence in South Los Santos, specifically, E. Jamestown St. At the time it was still considered a small time group of rascals and hadn't grown the reputation it holds today. Around the 1960's, construction on the project buildings was finished and housed by labor workers of the city of Rancho. The occupants being mainly of Hispanic background. Los Santos Government made a choice to also alter street name stretching from Dutch London St. and Little Bighorn Ave. to Jamestown St. due to the projects plotted inbetween. This although did not extinguish the presence of 18th Street, they'd stick to where they started and what they started. Some residents of the Jamestown Projects would also gravitate to the 18st. although not in large numbers. The gang began to rapidly grow only once they'd open doors to people of all race and ethnicity. The already established 18th Streeters, being just East of the projects, didn't pay much mind to the housing and it's occupants. The swift waft of the hand to the West was only given until there'd form another group of delinquents - Jamestown 13. The two'd have neutral relations as they'd both align with the Mexican Mafia until these relations turned hostile. These relations turned hostile once the group on the West had been green-lit by the higher ranking members of the Mexican Mafia, cutting ends lose and leading into daily gun-fire in the city of Rancho, in result, increasing the murder rate in the city only due to the events following the green-light and their close borders. The gang would form a stable and reputable presence in the city of Rancho, having grown in numbers, a lot of members moving from the neighborhood and to other parts of Los Santos, still living in poor areas they'd begin to make new cliques of the gang and continue operations. This would now put 18th Street on the map as one of the largest and most notorious street gangs in all of Los Santos. The Rancho Locos The Rancho Locos are a sub set of the 18th Street Gang. Originally started by locals in the area under Gabriel Lopez, his wife next in line to take lead of the set. Gabriel's wife was a ruthless and strict leader, but due to heart complications her reign was cut short. The only logical step forward was for Lucas to pick up the set as he was always the one to set an example for the younger members. They're settled and located on Jamestown St, just across the Jamestown Projects. Documentated as an active criminal group in Rancho for fifty years on-going. Lucas earned his place at the top with the willingness to do what it takes. It took him a year of compling to anything that previous set leaders had in place for him - he put in work and earned his place at the top. Lucas took the third generation of the Rancho Locos under his wing, taking any troubled teen in the neighborhood with him. The set is known for it's drug distribution in the city of Rancho. They're infamous for renting out street corners which are usually occupied by rogue drug dealers, in the end they get taxed by the clique, any troubles received are answered with violence. The Rancho Locos drug distribution is documented by the South Bureau of the Los Santos Police Department, this also raising their presence in the Los Santos County Jail. This sub-set and the gang in general is known as the children's army, most gang members being in the age group of twelve to fifteen. Members are targeted at a young age due to an easier influence and smaller chance of punishment. Work is put in by the younger members who wish to prove themselves and earn street credit and notiriety from others. Eighteenth street are a diverse group, embracing anyone who wants to be apart of the gang. They have no specifics on background or race which makes their numbers so large and their influence in the streets unavoidable. Joining results in an eighteen second beat-down by other members, the eighteen second rule also applies for punishment. This is what hardens the member, they realize that this can be received by a member which they consider a brother, this makes them realize how much worse an enemy would do, hardening them. Members show affiliation with the colors black and blue. Black is to show their main affiliation to eighteenth street which is usually paired with a black bandana. If a sports jersey is worn, it is usually with the number '18'. The color blue is to show respect to the Mexican Mafia which the eighteenth street members are linked with in the prison system. You can often see members sporting both colors. Affiliation is also shown in graffiti with variants of the eighteen - XV3. Puppet Gabriel Lopez known as - Puppet, was the main overseer of the Rancho Locos street operations in the 1990's. He did this from within the Los Santos County Jail, giving instructions to on-street shot caller - Martin 'Domino' Dominguez. Puppet was a member of the Mexican Mafia and very well known and respected in the prison system. They began working together on Rancho's Eastide in 1992. Domino was an up and coming soldier in the RCLS, known to be very loyal to the organization. They faced a threat when one of Puppet's Mexican Mafia rivals tried to cut into their profits, sending a 'tax collecter' inside of the Rancho Loco's territory to take over collections. On the night of January fourth, Domino and another gunman waited in an alleyway on the Eastside of Rancho and around midnight, Trucko's car pulled in. The two gunman opened fire on both him and his girlfriend, killing both. For this Puppet gave Domino a promotion, appointing him the shot-caller of the Rancho Locos. Domino quickly set out to prove his worth, ordering the gang to step up their extortion rings, having members work twenty-four seven, two shifts a day of collectors. He took an opperation that made two to three thousand dollars a week to ten-fifteen thousand dollars a week, increasing the profits dramatically. These operations were estimated to bring in profits of eighty five thousand dollars a week, due to this Domino established a strict hierarchy within the set. At the top, Puppet, running operations from Jail, next in line Puppet's wife Janie Lopez. She was known as the Senorita - the lady boss, collecting money for Puppet on the street. This succes brought unwelcome scrutiny, federal authorities taking interest in Domino and the clique. Domino had proven too good at the job. On March fourth, 1999, federal authorities raided the houses of Janie Lopez, her sister and her mother based on information they had gathered from wire-taps. In the houses they found stashes of money, in one being four hundred fifty thousand, another stash of eighty thousand and nine thousand. The last stash was a payment from Domino, these raids caused suspicion within the clique that someone had cooperated with police. Rumors went around and Janie Lopez concluded that it was Domino. She convinced Puppet that the shot caller had betrayed them, he sent a letter from prison stating; 'Fumigate the rat'. At his office Domino awaited the payment of one of his collectors, afterwards he returned to his car when suddenly several members of the gang began shooting at the car. Domino was given the greenlight - marked for murder. He was shot five times buut managed to survive, he came to a realisation. After this failed assasination, the gang fell apart and fell to the FBI. An agent knew he had been recovering at a friends house, the Police gathered a warrant for his arrest, taking him in custody. The loyal shot caller, feeling betrayed, turned on Puppet and became an informant. This was very useful for the FBI, causing a down-fall for the clique.
