  5. The hottest tea, the spiciest gossip, the fiercest commentary and no fucking censorship. We are the Los Santos VIXEN. Hope you've been doing your kegels, babe. Letter from the editor: Sis, stop reading the story and BE the story. Submit your gossip to our handy and under-fucking-utilized gossip submission form. Chop chop. Also Like, Subscribe, Share, is this your first time online? Click HERE ! LSVIXEN XOXO ❤️ Media Review: Vixen's Choice for LS Movie of the Year goes to C'est La Vie (2023) (Title Sequence from 'C'est La Vie') Hey there besties, so guess what? I was invited to a Movie Premiere for Vinewood Pictures latest release entitled C'est La Vie (2023)! So I slapped on some pearls, slipped into a cute 1920's silver screen look, and brought my trusty notepad to get you the tea on the latest piece of media to hit Vinewood. It goes without saying that Los Santos was once the movie capital of the world. You can see it's rippling effects from the 50's forward as the culture bomb that was the burgeoning motion picture scene influenced media all around the world. Since then. plenty of other cities across our big ole' world have cropped up their own studios with their own razzle-dazzle and Vinewood's been resting on their laurels. Until now. If C'est La Vie (2023) is any indication of future output from Vinewood Pictures, it may mark the big flash we've been waiting for in terms of the resurgence of the Los Santos Film Production glory. That's enough of me rambling. Let's get to why I've chosen this film as my Los Santos Movie of the Year for 2023 (The Movie Premiere crowd in it's glory, getting settled in for the film.) The Premiere! 😺 The Altitude Cinema hummed with excitement as throngs of movie-goers entered to watch the premiere of C'est La Vie. Spotted among the crowd were Newsqueen Carry Saunders, Supermodel Giorgia Polchi, Elder God Dorothy Bagshaw, and many other handsome mugs lining the seats. The premiere audience seemed hungry for something.... anything from the long quiet movie production scene. Couples nustled into eachothers arms, people watched with rapt attention, and a hush was cast on the theater while the crowd took in the melancholic life of Robert (Markus Fiskum) which unveiled itself on the screen. (Robert played by Markus Fiskum and his brother Luca played by Mitchell Holt share a grounding scene in the cemetary.) The Characters ARE the Plot! 🔮 When I first heard of the title, my mind drifted to languid black-and-white French art films where a woman would maybe smoke a cigarette, maybe burn it onto her arm expressionlessly, and then say something miserably poetic in French before an hour of uninterrupted weeping. I am blessed and honored to say this is not a French art film. While the plot does ring deeply sad at points, the plot moves in an arc that has a glimmer and shine of hope throughout the course of it. As you'll see later in my coverage of the Vinewood Pictures Q&A that followed the film, Director Markus Fiskum has a direct and punchy goal with the production of the plot of this film and it's my opinion that it was executed effectively. The characters themselves form the fabric of this story. Robert's sorrow seems all-encompassing in the beginning and Luca's exasperation and frustration with his brother punches through the fog of his sorrow with resounding lines. Piercing. Startling. Jarring. Enough to wake an audience out of what might have become a sense of complacency. Mitchell Holt brings fire and passion to the role of Luca that can't be fabricated by merely going through the motions. It's clear that these men have lived through the often terminal pull of receding from life and its varied experiences and have time and time again pulled one another out. (The moodyness brings the sadgrrl part of my heart so much joy.) Vixen's Hightlights! 💋 While the performances are simultaneously heart-breaking and heart-warming, I have to say that according to my own personal taste, it is the moodyness of the lingering shots throughout the film stand out to me the most. I know I can be a mega-bitch on this blog and that is a fact that does not escape me, dear readers. In truth, I'm as sentimental as the next girly. I love to taste joy, love, passion, and even sorrow. The lingering shots of the city served to create a sense of connection between the personal struggle of Robert with the struggles of thousands who live their lives each day in the same isolated numbness. The lingering sequences of him plugging away at his eternal passion project while segmenting himself from the rest of the world served well to force the viewer to think of how they might be doing the same thing, every single day. It's rare when art can actually make us feel, but I think it's rarer still when art forces us to reflect on our own lives. It's for that sole reason I was so willing to make C'est La Vie, my choice for Los Santos Movie of the Year for 2023. (A Standing Ovation (Above) and the Cast Q&A hosted by Alicia Johansson (Right)) The Q&A! 💋 The credits rolled and people dried their tears. As people began to leap up, the emotionally stirred crowd became a standing ovation and rung out shouts of support for the cast and crew who took the stage for a live Q&A. Below is the full transcript of what was asked and how it was answered: That's enough of hearing from the movie nerds, let's hear from an audience member! The Audience Flash Reaction! 💋 (Former Model, Current Stunner, Felix Brown) I decided to ask a random movie-goer exactly how they felt leaving the theater after watching C'est La Vie to get a more objective hot-take! This was his take! (Vinewood Pictures Logo) ALL IN ALL And there you have it folks, everything you need to know about both the world premiere of C'est La Vie (2023) and the details into the crack hit this movie is destined to become. Between performances and cinematography that stirs the heart and a message that hits home for audiences no matter where they come from and what their struggle looks like, C'est la Vie (2023) hits the pitch and won my heart. If you'd like to watch the film yourself, check local theater listings and check their Face browser page here to gain all the latest updates. XOXO, DISCLAIMER >Comments are enabled!

  8. Varrio Villains, also known as Vinewood Villains 13 is a primarily Mexican-American street gang on San Vitus Boulevard. Vinewood Villains 13 originally started out as a tagging crew back in 1996, and consist of several cliques which include, San Vitus Lokos, Troubled Boyz, and Violent Lokos. Varrio Villains consist of many active members and is considered one of the largest Hispanic sets in Vinewood. As many years gone by, Vinewood Villains then grew into a Hispanic set and quickly gained reputation for being reckless in Vinewood and all around Los Santos. They participated in many illegal activities and began working with powerful organizations which include The Mexican Mafia. Varrio Villains are allies of The Mexican Mafia and fall under the Sureno 13 brand. They are rivals with 18th Street and Barrio Mojados and are actively beefing with small Crip sets in the Vinewood Area. They also claim Piru Killer, and Crip Killer due to their active feud with African-American gangs. Vinewood Villains13 are also known as Cop Killers due to their rivalry with the Los Santos Police Department, and Los Santos Sheriffs Department. Vinewood Villains also feud with other street gangs that aren't near Vinewood. In the late 1990's when the Vinewood Villains set began to affiliate themselves with the Mexican Mafia where they adopted the name Vinewood Villains 13 many other sets under the Sureno 13 brand attempted to beef with Varrio Villains which ended up in the death of Angel Gamboa, a member of Vinewood Villains 13. OOC INFORMATION Thread credits go to @zuhils, and @$KIP We're roleplaying a fictional Sureno gang that started out as a tagging crew. After the gang grew and grew, they slowly turned into a gang in Vinewood and eventually got involved with the Mexican Mafia. We are trying to aim to portray a modern day Sureno gang Vinewood. 11. ((OOC INFORMATION)) The goal of this faction is to portray a realistic criminal operation based out of North Vinewood with the sole objective of making money. The crew consists of a group of ex-criminals with decades of experience between them, as well as mid-level criminals that have moved away from more strict hierarchical syndicates, street gangs, and other foreign organized crime organizations––all of which have banded together to pool resources, experience, and knowledge, in order to collaborate and make money. While this crew may have Characters that have previously been members of LCN groups, it is not necessarily an LCN faction and it will not strictly abide by LCN rules or customs. All races and ethnicities are welcome to join, pending that they’re a good fit for the goals and objectives of the group. We refuse to let “character development” and “roleplay quality” simply be buzzwords in our faction. Instead, they will be the core principals in which we operate and recruit. We will not hesitate to remove people for poor quality portrayal, or badly researched, stereotypical caricatures. We would rather have ten-guys who can provide a quality experience than forty who we constantly have to babysit out of fear that they’ll embarrass us or undermine our faction’s OOC purpose. Feel free to message @Rickaroni or @NickyW with any questions.
  12. The Wicked Brown Suspects 13 also known by the acronym WBSX3 is a street gang composed of predominantly Hispanic-American and Salvadorian-American affiliates. WBSX3 is a Los Santos based street gang that operates in the Northern area of Los Santos, specifically, Clinton Avenue and has been since its creation during the early 1990s. The faction’s birthing traces back all the way to early 1992 in a tagging crew called "Brown Pride Boys". The crew was first founded in the area to protect newer fleets of Hispanic-Immigrants from pretty much everything in Los Santos, such as poverty, discrimination, and limited opportunities for jobs and living situations. After fleeing from Mexico and El Salvador to Los Santos, many of them, without having any family over in the area, nor any idea on where to go results in them being lost, having to stay in dangerous areas which also includes section-8 housing and homeless shelters. After about ten-years is when the WBSX3 gang begin to have problems with other existing street gangs located in Los Santos for example gangs such as, 83 Gangster Crip, Eighteenth Street and even Tug Town Bloods. Their most notable issues though, is between WBSX3 and most African-American Gangs. The feud between the gangs, started all the way in the late 1990’s, over petty tagging disputes and arguments in the gang turfs. During the late 1990's they began to affiliate themselves with the Mexican Mafia where they would adopt the name, Wicked Brown Suspects 13 / WBSX3. During this transitioning period is where they picked up heat with the local Eighteenth Street gang over turf control and product being moved in the area. Both gangs felt as if their turfs were being impeded on which led to a deadly shooting of a Eighteenth Street gang member. After this, arrests were made which conducted over eight affiliated WBSX3 members, causing the decline in their gang activity. Although the gang has a affiliation the Mexican Mafia. The gang has beefed other Sureño factions such as Eighteenth Street, Clanton 14, and White Fence 13. Although they had beefs with Sureño gangs, they would have more focus on their African-American rivals. They mainly beefed the Crip Card and the Blood Card, claiming Bk and Ck in their tags and social media. This gang would believe heavily in their gang heritage, so members would be seen walking around in brown Cortes shoes and black flags hanged around their neck to claim the EBK status they had. The beefs between WBSX3, Crip, and Blood gangs in Los Santos still reigns heavily to this day, with many violent encounters happening daily in North Vinewood.

  17. "La Vida Loca" by Carlos "Wiro" Ruiz and many others, 1992. The Barrios Origins The origins of the 18th street gang can be traced back to Los Santos, San Andreas, during the early 1960s in the Downtown district. The gang was originally made up of immigrants from different Latino countries, which was unusual for that time period. Bigger neighborhoods during that time would usually discriminate against other ethnic groups, choosing only to recruit and admit Mexicans into their ranks. As the small gang of 18th streeters slowly grew they gained the attention of a much bigger gang, Clanton 14. Members of the 18th street gang were actually interested in joining Clanton and making their own clique. However before they were allowed to join the Clanton gang made a demand, the 18th street gang had to get rid of all their non-Mexican members. This decree did not sit well with 18th street membership. The smaller gang rebelled against C14s demands and went to war against them. Establishing themselves as their own neighborhood The Rise of 18th Street Eighteenth Street has become one of the most significant gangs within Los Santos and has spread to numerous locations. Such growth in membership and geographical coverage can be attributed to 18th Street’s open ethnic enrollment of members outside the Latino community, this broadened the appeal for youth to join the gang. The spread of 18th street across Los Santos can be linked to US immigration policies in the 1980s. The mass immigration of people fleeing from civil war in South American led to the gangs recruitment pool increasing in size. These immigrants flocked to the 18th street gang due to the lax recruitment guidelines it had compared to other Hispanic gangs that did not want them,. The gang was one of the few that allowed members of all races and ethnic backgrounds to join. The recruitment of these war refuges led to a sudden increase in the violence committed by the gang. The wave of new recruits were more prone to violence due to the militarized lifestyles they lived in their home countries. These newly gained violent tendencies led to the 18th street gang being able to absorb many smaller gangs and take control of their turf. However, this new found approach to gang banging led to the gang gaining a long list of enemies. Barrio Eighteenth Street vs Mara Salvatrucha One of 18th streets life long enemies is the equally large and infamous Mara Salvatrucha 13. The feud between these two gangs has claimed the lives of hundreds of members from both sides, as well as the lives of many innocent civilians. There are many different stories as to why the war between the two gangs started, many of them becoming somewhat folktales. One story that seems to be the most likely is that one night during a party, members of both gangs got into a dispute over a girl who was seen dancing with a MS13 member after recently breaking up with a reputable 18th street member. The two groups were fighting when shots were fired and a 18th street member was left dead. The two gangs have been involved in a bloody war ever since. The feud has went beyond Los Santos borders as both gangs expanded outside of America, the fighting has now reached new levels in South America. Barrio Eighteenth Street vs The Bloods Up until the early 90s the eighteenth street gang had actually maintained peaceful relations with most black gangs. This allowed them to expand their turf within black neighborhoods. In 1993 the 18th street gang attempted to move into the "Jungles", a black community residing in a maze of apartment buildings in the Chamberlain Hills neighborhood. This led to a dispute between them and the "Black P. Stone" gang over clientele and drug turf in the jungles. The dispute escalated to the point where members of BPS decided to shoot and kill a leader of the Rancho Park clique over the dispute. This led to a series of brazen retaliation shootings by the 18th street gang, members of the gang were shooting at anything black in the Jungles. Due to the jungles being considered a safe haven for bloods, many other blood gangs were dragged into the war on account of their members getting shot by 18th street after being mistake as BPS members. 18th streets main blood adversaries ended up being the Black P Stones, The Rolling Twenty Bloods, and the Westside Brims. 18th street in Vinewood The 18th street gangs presence in Vinewood dates back to the early eighties. Vinewood at the time was experiencing an unprecedented flood of immigrants, mainly from South America. These immigrants quickly formed "stoner" gangs, these stoner gangs differed from the traditional cholo gang. They were into heavy metal, wore long hair, and dropped acid. The differences in culture lead to a lot of stoner and cholo gangs beefing. 18th street saw this as a opportunity and recruited the young stoner gangs. With the backing of 18th street, these stoner gangs carved out territory for themselves in the Vinewood area, establishing a 18th street presence in the region. The Vinewood barrio dubbed itself "Vinewood Gangsters" as a way to differentiate itself from other 18st barrios, this particular 18st chapter has two cliques within itself. The two established cliques in Vinewood are the Laguna Winos (LWS) and Clinton Lil Cycos(CLCS). These two cliques operate together very closely, almost as one singular gang. The Laguna Winos clique is mainly found in the central part of Vinewood just north of Spanish Avenue, they claim the apartment buildings on the corner of Laguna Place & Spanish Ave as their strong hold. The Laguna Winos clique earned it's named in the early 80s, the early members of the clique were known as "winos" who'd always be seen drinking in and around the Laguna Place apartment buildings that they call home. The LWS clique is a more aggressive clique that focuses on gang warfare. The clique is known as 18th streets main hitters in the Vinewood area, earning their reputation for participation in gangland murders on MS13, C14, White Fence and many other Vinewood gangs. This particular clique of 18th street is known to travel to neighborhoods controlled by other cliques to participate in their wars. Members of the LWS clique can be found in court documents for being involved in murders of Black P Stones, Rollin 20 Bloods, and other members of distant gangs that feud with 18th street. The Clinton Lil Cycos can be found just further north, past the famous Vinewood Boulevard and on Clinton Avenue. CLCS has a history of being one of 18th streets most lucrative cliques, they were apart of a massive open air drug market operation on Clinton Avenue in the late 90s that earned them multiple federal indictments as well as millions of dollars in yearly revenue. This particular of the of 18th street has a history of having close ties to the Mexican Mafia. At their height the clique received a cut for every rock of cocaine, gram of heroin, and baggie of weed sold in their turf. Vinewood drug dealers would pay a tax or rent for permission to operate in the streets of Vinewood. Federal prosecutors say that shot caller Juan Romero or "Termite" put members of the clique on shifts so that drugs could be sold twenty four hours a day. The CLCS has since fallen out of glory with multiple indictments disrupting their operation. Today, the clique still operates a drug operation but now on a much smaller scale.
