  1. Short description: Make water more reflective of weather conditions and sometimes more smoother for more realistic boating. Detailed description: Water conditions such as waves, and swell are all dependent on ever changing weather conditions. Water isn't constantly always choppy and wavy unless you're out at sea and if you're outside of storms it's not always that bad. Closer to the shore the water is generally calmer with smaller waves, or if the wind/breeze is low or non-existant, the water will remain relatively calm. We see that water conditions remain calm in waterways and rivers except the rapids, but are very rough outside of that, for example any area outside of the marina and onto the main ocean infront of the beach, and in the inland alamo sea region where the waves are very choppy in an unrealistic manner. Of course it would be outside the limitations of the game to change the conditions of the water for certain areas (as far as i know) but if im not mistaken, the water (or weather) can be tweaked as a whole to make the ocean a little smoother. This would be more realistic for boat RP, sea planes, fishing and other. Then, for example, the water could be rough when the weather is bad, it's raining or very windy. But on a sunny day the water wouldn't be as drastically rough as it is when you take a boat out at this current time. Commands to add: Maybe a command isn't necessary, but if it was deemed so, perhaps some kind of command(s) for the administration team to tweak weather/water conditions as deemed necessary for the RP atmosphere at any given time. Items to add: I wouldn't see there being a need for any actual items, just some tweaking to the ocean behavior or weather that would make it smoother for boating. How would your suggestion improve the server? It'd help add to the realism and add better immersion into boating/seaplanes and fishing, and may even attract more players into this under-appreciated modality. Boat related RP, even such as fishing can be fun but the waves make it hard to navigate a boat and it subtracts from the realism factor when you're constantly battling a 6-8ft swell while trying to go out for a casual boat trip, water just isn't always like that. Additional information: I'm sure theres some kind of way to achieve this, even if it's by means of some third-party mod to add that allows for the changing of sea conditions, unless theres a simple setting or something related to the weather. Seeing as there is evidence of singleplayer mods for tsunamis and floods, i think something has to exist where something as simple as the sea conditions can be changed.
  2. I entirely support this. The US constitution and rights contained therein are heavily under-portrayed here. Even in a place as politically challenged as California there still remains a bare bones right to bear firearms, to include low-capacity assault rifles and bolt action rifles among other things such as revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Everyone has the right to self defense and despite the political argument surrounding gun control, it's still a thing and should be portrayed a bit more realistically on the server, theres a licensing system in place with VERY limited benefit as far as to what weapons you can have, while on the illegal side you have access to a plethora of dangerous weapons and it's an unfair tilt when in reality, you can own most of those other type of weapons, with some states having more restrictions than others.
  3. Definitely support this. In real life, at least in the U.S, most places are fairly lenient towards gun rights and the constitutional 2nd amendment which is the right to bear arms, it wouldn't be unrealistic to walk into almost virtually any U.S gun store/pawn shop and buy a heavy pistol, be it a .45 Sig, M1911, .357 Magnum or anything of the sort and it be totally legal, mind you a lot of states don't even require a license or gun registration. I think this is a small thing to ask for for people who already went through the hassle of getting a license, they should be more than able to have heavier pistols.
  4. I agree, this would add something more unique and create more RP opportunities. I support it
