"Nothing of substance" yet most people seem to be picking up what I'm putting down but I'll GLADLY explain it again since you skipped my other post. You are using systemic inequality as an excuse to push this agenda that it's acceptable for Sandy Shores in the year 2024 to mimic the Jim Crowe South per your own words. Not only is this just not a realistic expectation of what would essentially be a town on the outskirts of LA County, It's also does not have any real IC precedence for this and I've been actively roleplaying on this server both in the county and out of it since 2018. The only time there is inherit racism is when a collective of individuals decide this is the narrative they wish to push for the area and ironically, county roleplayers that I know think that narrative is not represented outside of criminal factions in the area. So when I say "Just say you like being racist and keep it moving", I truly mean that there has been an OOC bias towards this portrayal. Does that mean YOU the user is actually a racist and has those ideals in their head for their day to day lives? Probably not but then why decide that this "Jim Crowe" era style of racism is fit for the area when it's clear, by the guidelines of the server we're on that we need to have faction mimic Californian legal/illegal entities as much as the server can allow us to do so...like WHY pick 1900s era racism. It doesn't make sense. South Central from a realistic stand point suffers from the same issue of drug addicts and criminality. Black people aren't running white people out of Davis for being white, they run them out for instigating problems which, based on someone else's reply, seems to happen based on this Jim Crowe ideology that does not make sense to exist in the first place. It just doesn't add up my friend. If you're saying this white supremacist attitude is completely tied to factions, I've interacted with the white factions in the city and they do not have this stigma. That means a CHOICE has been made here, because like I said earlier, to people who roleplay legal civilians out in the county, they...aren't white supremacists at all.

No one is going to places in LA county and getting ran out from being Black, it's not realistic. Nor is it anything supported by any IC precedent other than "It's a predominantly white area". White people are not inherently racist.

We need paid healthcare and its various differences such as Medicaid for low income individuals, and then more premium insurances just as a general money sink in the server. Medical billing irl takes ages though and medical providers do not interact with billing for the most part HOWEVER it does significantly affect patient care irl since some people will refuse to go to the hospital and take whatever basic treatment an ambulance crew will give you because it’s generally cheaper for them to do so. This is a factor FD/PHMC does not have to deal with because traumas from gunshot wounds/stabbings/beatings make up the majority of medical calls on the server and most of those people either let speed run accepting death or Rescue 99 shows up because there isn’t enough ambulances for the call volume. That being said, there needs to be a more interactive injury system to get people to be more invested in doing the medical roleplay and people have listed various ideas for that. Private EMS won’t increase medical roleplay and it seems most people don’t realize that the way Private EMS makes money in the states is purely through people who are very sick/medicaid or getting a contract with a hospital which is something that PHMC has no reason to do since they run their own allied health program. We don’t roleplay hospital to hospital transfers, transfers to skilled nursing facilities, dialysis etc. In reality Private EMS has no place in the server. Personally I think PHMC should do EMT/Paramedic or even EMT/EMT buses as a gateway for people who may not want to do FD or don’t vibe with Fire Medic/Fire EMT culture.

I narcaned a guy last night that was on what was likely heroin. That was you know after arriving on scene with the following done to him after he passed out. 1. Dragged into the bathroom and stripped naked to have water thrown on him. 2. CPR done to him for some reason??? 3. Given milk forcefully. The narcan sweats on him were very very real and after the sweating finished, the vomiting was plentiful. Still RMA'd tho. 10/10 guide.

As stated with the post above me it’s not for a lack of trying that RICO isn’t being used or some form of state level enforcement against organized crime. Talks have happened with it multiple times and it’s fallen through. The only real repercussion to illegal factions are themselves. The law is an after thought.
