  1. Perhaps an expiration system could be implemented? The food's lifespan could be directly proportional to the quality of the food. Once the food expires, the item will no longer be able to be used.
  2. Short description: Allowing players the ability to create food items in their own homes. Detailed description: This suggestion is to allow players to create food and/or drink items (non-alcoholic, like lemonade or juice) from home (by home cooking RP). If I'm not mistaken, food items are only able to be created in a restaurant/business. The current system for restaurateurs seem to be pretty straightforward if I'm not wrong - buy supplies and create food items. It can stay this way (i.e. they can RP getting all the supplies needed from a supplier, in bulk). This suggestion requires a few extra additions to the script, such as: 1) A grocery shop/supermarket. A supermarket might be better as other things can be sold there too. 2) Buying groceries. It's not possible to add every thinkable ingredient into the script, I know. Thus, I'd like to suggest that the command "/buyfoodingredients [dish name]" and "/buydrinkingredients [drink name]" be introduced, allowing players to buy ingredients at a certain price. Perhaps the quality of ingredients can also be separated into different tiers (high quality ingredients produce high quality food, etc) and prices. The ingredients can then be shown in the inventory as "Uncooked ingredients [dish name]". 3) Cooking the ingredients. What I have in mind is that the player can only cook the ingredients when near a stove/grill to prevent abuse, but I'm not sure how difficult this is implementation-wise. If stove proximity is implemented, players can request the help of admins to spawn grills for outdoor cooking. Commands to add: "/buyfoodingredients [dishname] [quality l, m, h] [qty]", "/buydrinkingredients [drink name], "/cook [inventory item (must be "uncooked ingredients"]" Items to add: Whatever recipe the player can come up with. How would your suggestion improve the server? I personally feel that it allows players to have more immersive roleplay, whether they are a housewife or a bunch of vatos trying to hold a cookout. Actual ingredients and dishes can be cooked instead of just imagining they are there. Additional information: Few examples: 1) Pierre wants to cook a dish native to her country. Let's say Pierre is French, but the lack of French restaurants in LS made him want to cook some boeuf bourguignon. He heads down to the nearest grocery store, and he buys high quality ingredients using the command: "/buyfoodingredients Boeuf Bourguignon h 1". He heads home and RPs preparing the ingredients, before cooking it at the stove. /cook will produce the food item, and it will stay in his inventory as "Boeuf Bourguigon (high quality)". 2) Daniela is a volunteer at a homeless shelter. The shelter is holding a fundraiser, and Daniela decides to bake some cookies to sell at the event. She heads to the grocery store, buys ingredients, and bakes the cookies at home to bring to the event. 3) Julio decides to hold cookout in his backyard. Same applies with the ingredients, although he may need to buy more ingredients. (/buyingredients BBQ ribs m 10) I can list a lot more examples, such as how players can use this opportunity to sell home-cooked food to her neighbours and friends. Maybe poor quality foods can result in some consequences too.
