  1. Preamble In the gritty underbelly of Los Santos, where the streets hummed with the discordant melody of broken dreams and shattered promises, Jacob Horton's story unfolded. His life, a mosaic of hardship and struggle, bore the stains of a childhood marred by neglect and abandonment. Jacob, a man weathered by the harsh realities of his upbringing, found solace amidst the grease-stained alleys of the city's ramshackle garages. It was a haven for the broken, the misfits, and the lost souls seeking refuge from the unforgiving streets. His journey began with a legacy tainted by the sins of his uncle, Jerry—a one percenter whose shadow loomed large over Jacob's fractured existence. When Jerry passed, he left Jacob a beaten-down motorcycle, a symbol of a life lived on the edge of society's fringes. But Jacob's inheritance came with a heavy price. Haunted by the specter of addiction, he teetered on the brink of self-destruction, his days blurred by a haze of drugs and despair. In the depths of his struggle, he found himself constantly at odds with his demons, wrestling with the urge to succumb to the darkness that threatened to consume him whole. Growing Up Jacob Horton was born and raised in Los Santos, specifically on the east side. His childhood was quite a disaster, both of his parents were drug addicts, but not street-ridden or homeless. Jacob never really received the love that a child growing up should have and truly needs. It would take a miracle for a child to stay on track while living in a home like Jacob lived in. Jacob tried to utilize sports as a distraction or a "way out" of his home life as his parents often mistreated him, didn't feed him, and didn't give him any attention. Like any child in this situation, Jacob used his teen years to gain attention from other sources, often seen trying to "fit in" at school or after school by smoking, talking to girls, and up to no good generally. Jacob finished high school and then tried to land a part-time/full-time job to move out of his parent's house. He was eventually taken in by his uncle Jerry Horton who spent more time with Jacob and cared for him, but it wasn't the best influence for him. Jacob instantly took the opportunity to move out with his uncle Jerry when he was eighteen years old. In this new chapter of Jacob's life, he learned a lot from his uncle, however, not everything his uncle Jerry taught him was for the best. His uncle Jerry was an outlaw biker, a patched member of a local motorcycle club. However, from the outside, it wouldn't seem like Jerry had any connection to crime or the motorcycle club world. Jerry was quite experienced in his role as an outlaw biker and kept a low profile when it came to his reputation. Jerry guided Jacob through his last remaining teen years, he helped him find a job and provided him with a safe home environment for the time being. Jerry got Jacob a job at a local mechanic shop, a mechanic shop run by outlaw bikers and other criminals. These individuals were sucking Jacob into the life and he didn't even realize it. However, the feeling of friendship and camaraderie was a good and new feeling for Jacob. He craved attention as he never had true friends growing up, and his parents neglected him for years. Jacob slowly began to understand what was truly going on at the places he would work and realized soon enough the people he called his friends were criminals, belonging to notorious biker gangs in the area. During this time, Jacob was also starting to smoke marijuana and even began smoking crack and snorting methamphetamine as the others around him would also do. He became addicted to drugs and would constantly be using them daily, and even while on the job. It wasn't long before Jacob began selling drugs on the side, assisting with stealing cars and roughing people up who didn't have their payments ready on time. He slowly began going down the path that he never thought he would, his uncle Jerry cared for him but wasn't the right influence on a teenager. Jacob bounced around shops in the area but always worked for various motorcycle clubs as his name became quite well-known. In 2018, Jacob was apprehended as part of a Los Santos Police Department sting operation on local chop shops, where Jacob was a part of. He served a few years in prison as a result as he was also found with some crystal methamphetamine on his person. He was recently released in 2024, and upon his release, he went back home to his uncle Jerry's house to soon find out that he was killed due to an ongoing biker war in the area. Jacob took this hard as his uncle raised him and taught him all he knew since he moved in when he was eighteen and would be turning twenty-eight in 2024, the year of his release. Jacob now works in East Los Santos with Albert Bowlan and others, all members of the Pariah Motorcycle Club, San Andreas chapter. He was recruited after landing back on his feet after being released from prison. He used to work for a large amount of local bikers and his name was reputable to many. Jacob has been trying to get back on his feet as he had a good amount of savings and had been working hard before his arrest. He also hid a lot of money at his uncle's home, which was accessible after he was released, same with his uncle's share of his earnings that Jacob knew about that was off the books. Jacob's now looking to begin his new chapter in life as he's now almost twenty-eight years old. He wants to figure out a life plan as he doesn't want to go down like his uncle or return to prison by making the same mistakes. Currently, Jacob is choosing the straight and narrow path, sticking to the 9-5 job life, however, the crowd he hangs out with makes it quite difficult to stick with that lifestyle. Being around women, drugs, money, and other criminals creates a barrier between Jacob and his feeling of involvement with friends and co-workers. He's always needed this sense of friendship and he wants to feel involved when he works alongside others, something he never got from his parents, his uncle Jerry, or others until he became a criminal. It's fair to say that Jacob has a decision to make as there's tons of temptation around him at all times, tons of money to be made down illegal avenues, and the ability to return to his old life is staring him right in the face. Jacob has been fighting the urge to go back to his old ways of making money and even fighting the urge to sink back into his drug addiction. He's been smoking cigarettes and marijuana to try and avoid it, but only time will tell if Jacob can truly fight off his demons.
