  1. fat no gamers i dont think this even needs a discussion
  2. I think this would add another element of depth to roleplay. Definitely worth adding to the server. +1
  3. MY POINT!! People need to be the change they want, if you want more exterior roleplay, you need to bring it yourself, start events yourself, small as they may be, roleplay is roleplay!
  4. BE THAT CHANGE! That's something you can easily do yourself, you may not realise but just having 1-2 friends and posting an ad and buying a taco van or something in a nice area, offering drinks. Easy way to create roleplay yourself and get people into the world.
  5. As far as I'm aware, I don't think there's an events team, perhaps bringing a group of players together that could plan out events that can happen in the open world, like. It doesn't need to be extravagant, just something different? (And if there is, they are definitely not active.)
  6. Another issue faced which can't be helped but, as far as me and a few others are concerned people tend to spend their time in interiors and not in the world, but that can't be helped. Like yesterday we drove around with 88 players on and could only find contact in Rancho.
  7. Never seen a GTAW advertisement anywhere before, but then again where do people who want to roleplay on gta servers go? Other communities. There's not exactly a middle ground other than rage etc.
  8. And this is what I WANT to see the server turn into, a place that as long as your roleplay is on point, you're free to do as you please WITHIN REASON. But I doubt that'll ever occur. I don't want to make any claims that this is the reason the server's population isn't as high as it should be but I believe it is myself at least. I will admit I don't know much about how servers run but when compared to others servers, you look and understand that there illegal roleplay is always the most popular type of roleplay, second is legal roleplay with PD/FD/GOV/DOC and then it's civilian. However this server you'll find civilian roleplay is the most common, and these civilians commit crimes on the side, you'll probably find that at least a character that's been around for 1-2 weeks will have some sort of misdemeanor or potentially a felony. Now, is that how civilians should act? Is that realistic? I've never committed a crime and I'm certain a lot of you haven't either. Edit: Only thing I can really say is that these civilians are doing what even illegal roleplayers should do, which is just live a life, which is fair right. But at this point you'll find that you can have people who have murdered others that are applying to legal factions (PD). May be more of an IC thing right, but it still happens.
  9. I feel like that's one of the big issues, that's what things are being compared to constantly, you can't do x or y because it wouldn't occur in real life in this specific location, I think there really needs to be at least some leniency towards it. Else people who aren't as experienced at roleplay as much as they are disliked here aren't going to want to try and create something new. I feel like that's part of the freedom that this server lacks compared to others, people could do what they want within reason as long as there was extensive roleplay behind it and it made sense.
  10. Gravedwellers, Rancho 13, Grove street Crips and the West Coast Mob are four factions I can name off the top of my head, unless these factions had a total of 5 players each, I doubt it was only that maximum, players have just cycled in and out and it's appeared like there's less. Potentially some have come back under different affiliations too, but still the lack of content and roleplay ability for illegal factions is what's causing them to become stagnant and close down, which in turn drags down the roleplay of legal factions, e.g PD/FD, giving them less to do and become bored, which is a problem a lot of us are facing currently. As a member of PD I can say that I've seen it myself - Members just playing other games to bide time simply because there's not a lot to do on the server.
  11. Seems quite charges negatively towards PD paychecks, either way. I don't care about paying for them, but I don't think we should have to have cops running to the store to bulk buy en masse breathalyzers. It really should just be a part of the equipment we get. Next you'll say we should go to the ammunation to buy our guns.
  12. Agreed, currently DUIs are non-existent other than people roleplaying them, but you might get the occasional person who gets pulled over and won't mention otherwise unless prompted.
  13. Would be nice, the amount of times I have people in my car spam changing radios and result in me being almost deafened is in the hundreds by now.
  14. Personally I don't see the issue with the two minute timer, it's convenient if anything. The amount of deaths I've had due to bugs or falling with jump r is huuuge. I wouldn't want to be stuck on the ground for ten minutes waiting for it. But the auto respawn, I don't think it should be a thing at all. Players should have to decide when they respawn once dead. Giving them a chance to roleplay things like coroners, etc. Maybe adding a drag feature or something along those lines to pull people into the back of vehicles so they don't need to be /revived on scenes and coroners can actually remove dead bodies. All for the sake of immersion after all! I hate roleplaying with the ground.
