  1. Sadie Hennessy: Her way of supporting Los Santos' heroes Maximus Knoth Sadie Hennessy, Host of Event On October 18th, 2020. Inside the church of Blaine County, an incredible event was hosted by Sadie Hennessy (Figure Above). Sadie is a pastor at Hill Valley Church located in Blaine County, a phenomenal woman with plenty of resources on hand. She not only guides locals who attend church, Ms. Hennessy also gives her time to hosting services every Sunday! Funerals, weddings... The entire package can be found at the Hill Valley Church! If you're interested in learning more about her community: The Hill Valley Church - Blaine County. With a powerful opening to her speech, Sadie continues to praise the Fire Department in Los Santos of their inspiring work. "Today, we have not superman, nor' do we have Captain America! But.. I have folk, who are better, in my eyes. For there are heroes among us! In our community, they protect us and save us, everyday! They's brothers, they's sisters. Ladies an' gentlemen? They's our family—Today we have with us the Los Santos Fire Department. I'd like y'all t'give them some county love! Please welcome them to the stand. Our REAL heroes!" Roxie Bauer speaking at the fundraiser, FD members behind her along with Sadie Hennessy With the successful opening of two new fire stations: Station One, Paleto Bay & Station Four, Sandy Shores. The event presented itself as a fundraiser for the Fire Department of Los Santos. As we hear more from Roxie Bauer of the LSFD (Figure Above): "It is always quite humbling being called a hero as we do not see it in that way, we do a job that we all love and are passionate for. We try our best to keep everyone safe. As previously mentioned, we have recently opened up station one and four, Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores respectfully. This is something that could not be achieved without the donations from the general public and it's something we rely on as a department. Advances in technology mean that we can help give you the best care and attention possible. After all, runnin' into burning buildings isn't everyone's cup of tea." Oswald Halford speaking with Roxie Bauer & Alice MacCarthy (Right) Below is an interview obtained by LSNN with PR Director of the Fire Department—Alice MacCarthy. Question: "What are your future plans moving forward? Would the focus be more on funding, opening more stations or perhaps more recruits?" Answer: "That would be a question for the Chief Fire Officers. But, I can say we're looking to push for recruiting volunteers for these stations." Question: "Can you describe the goal for this event?" Answer: "Our aim with this event was donations for Station One and Station Four within the county as these are our volunteer stations where a majority of funding comes from the public's generosity Question: "Do you plan on hosting more events like this partnering up with Ms. Hennessy? Is this event perhaps something we would see regularly?" Answer: "That would be up to Ms. Hennessy, generally Public Relations is up for everything within reason. As I said to Councilor Spencer, Public Relations has recently set up the Los Santos Fire Department Foundation. A charity aimed at raising money for the department and for local charities in Los Santos and Blaine County. So you can see a lot more of departmental events Public Relations host being charity related or accepting donations." VISIT OUR WEBSITE - CLICK HERE
