  1. GOALS BORR, or Blaine Off-Road Racing, is an up and coming organization here to bring the motocross scene to San Andreas! The idea behind BORR is to give dirt bike enthusiasts, racers, and off-road lovers a chance to compete in competitions held in our state. We're looking to provide tournaments for local racers and teams who would like a chance of giving themselves a name and moving onto the bigger leagues, to solidify a career in the sport. Though BORR will start primarily focused on motocross, we're looking to spread into off-road racing with vehicles as well. SIGN-UPS Sign-ups will be added here soon! There will be a basic form to fill out with standard and legal questions. Signing up is mandatory to participate in the races. RACES As of right now, the first organized race time and date is TBA. The first race will be strictly Sanchez' only, and more on that will be explained in the coming days. All information regarding updates will be posted both here and on our soon to be added FaceBrowser page so those interested can keep up-to-date on when it will take place. ((OOC INFORMATION)) We have a Discord we'll be using that will provide both IC and OOC information.
  2. With a little research into Palm Desert and Desert Shores, Palm Desert seems to not resemble of anything even remotely in Blaine County (Maybe places like Chumash or Paleto) and Desert Shores itself is also a very odd place. Because Palm Deserts is VERY developed and even Desert Shores is filled with houses not a mix mash of small crappy houses and trailers in what looks like a super rundown area or even a place full of farmland like Grapeseed. Blaine even has a place based off California's Slab City and, at least from what I've seen on the internet and heard of it, is full of some very very interesting people. And Sandy Shores, which is said to be based off Joshua Tree and Niland, only really resembles Niland which is also full of very interesting and colorful people. As many other people have said, some of the people Roleplaying in Blaine roleplay as locals and some roleplay as people from the opposite ends of the country and some roleplay from the other ends of the world. Just like the Real United States, California included, there's all sorts of different kinds of people from all corners of the earth that manage to find themselves in some of the oddest places, small ones included. As for the issue with the way some people speak In-game and what not, If you actually incorporate all off the places that Blaine County resemble in the base game you can't at all complain about what kind of people you run in to out there. Because there's so many types of places that GTA 5 injected into the county it's insane. To add to the way people speak and portray themselves. I've lived in western US all my life and only ever lived in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Colorado. The way people pronounce crap over here is all over the place from very formal "you are" to "yer", "t'one" to "the one" and so on. When it comes to people out there being like "ahh I hate city folk", that mostly comes from IC situations that have continued to evolve out there from when more often then not, random people clearly from LS (from street gangs to more organized crime type individuals) decide to come out to Blaine to conduct robberies on individual(s), extortion, or just to cause a ruckus. That aspect of it, from my experience of 5 months in Blaine, stems from people like that coming from LS into the county and doing some rather stupid things. There may be a few bad apples as there are with anything in life, but I don't see an issues with the majority of people who roleplay in Blaine County as of right now. I don't see any need to address this 'problem' as there doesn't seem to even be one.

    Sanchez liveries

I guess the point of this topic is to add Sanchez (livery) the bike to the server then.

    Sanchez liveries

Short description: Liveries for Sanchez Detailed description: The BF-400 seems to have liveries but Sanchez does not. There's many good looking vanilla liveries the game has to offer they're just not available on GTA W. Commands to add: N/A Items to add: Liveries for Sanchez How would your suggestion improve the server? There's plenty of people on the server who enjoy riding dirt bikes and plenty who'd like to take bikes into actual competitions on the server. The liveries simply provide a more realistic atmosphere whether then having to use plain colored bikes. With competitions coming up in the near future, it'd be a great addition to have to bring said organization to life that much more. Additional information: Pictures of vanilla liveries that could be added.
  5. Forever enjoying the content you guys put out and the roleplay you guys provide to Blaine County, keep it up ❣️
  6. Easy way to combat any issues with not letting said rifles is to put some restrictions in place to make sure they're given to the right people. The only arguments against people being able to legally buy and own rifles is worrying about someone who'll just grab a PF license willy nilly and start acting like they're in a militia or some crap, or go do something stupid like get insulted by one individual and then go shoot up an entire house full of people because of it. Which can already be done with what's available anyway. In my personal opinion, the best approach is to put restrictions on it and maybe even have it create more roleplay through said restrictions? MAYBE make it so if someone wants a rifle they need a different license on top of a PF, and there needs to be I don't know, IC means of requiring it on top of some sort of test / exam? Imagine if you had to meet a few basic IC / OOC requirements just to apply, then said person had to show up in-character, at a gun store to show that they are competent and understand rifles and weapons in general. From general firearm safety to knowing about weapon jams, malfunctions, accidental and negligent discharges, and so on. Which said information can be something supplied to gun store owners and those who are employeed at said stores. Which means for someone to know what they're going to be tested on, they have to go learn the material, in-character, at a gun store. That provides a CRAP ton of roleplay for gun stores, ON TOP of the roleplay that rifles would give everyone in general outside of the stores. The pros massively out-weigh the cons in this situation if implemented properly. You can easily give gun stores a lot more to do other then just selling weapons / attachments. And it brings a lot more roleplay to gun culture in general. Which, for those who don't live in the United States, is a big big big big thing. It brings countless opportunities to build more roleplay, a more realistic atmosphere, and so much more.
  7. Shotguns are often used for birds and what-not, usually duck. Things like an AR-15 are commonly used for small game, and most people who hunt bigger game OFTEN use rifles. You can use slugs on bigger game, yeah. But a 30-06 or something similar is usually someone's go-to hunting caliber for things like deer. As for the thing that's being hunted, could just be NPC'd, or, possibly, spawned in. Not all too sure how hard it'd be to get deer's scriptly put in. Even doing it NPC wise would be just fine. And the whole semi-auto rifle thing isn't just for hunting. Can be for sport too. Especially if outdoor ranges actually get pushed and become a thing. A famous sport in the world of firearms, in America at least, is three-gun competition. On top of general competition shooting and all that fun jazz. And obviously self defense.
  8. Same bartender and car enthusiast can already do that to you with a shotgun or handgun. They can already do that with what is available right now, adding a rifle doesn't change that. As for my opinion, I think it'd be a lovely idea to allow legal individuals the ability to get legal, semi-automatic rifles. Provides a lot more potential roleplay in so many ways I can only see it being beneficial. On top of the POSSIBILITY of outdoor ranges and hunting becoming a thing, which invites dozens of more things that can be done with said rifles on top of general self defense. I could see it being reasonable to make it into needing another license for it, for the ability to purchase any sort of rifle.
  9. + 1 supporting this. Nothing beats having a fair bit of people in the store, going through a ton of roleplay only to get to the payment part where it becomes an OOC fest of "your purchase didn't go through because you need that 8-13 grand on hand" and then they gotta run out of the store, run to the nearest bank, come back with the money and go again. Realistically, considering how much firearms are in real life (roughly between $250 all the way up to 2-3 grand) very few people are gonna be walking into gun stores with $250 - $3,000 in their pocket. They're most likely gonna be paying with card. Would be a nice addition to gun shops.

    #BringBackChrome

Focusing on bikes alone, one of the common looks a motorcycle has consists of being littered in chrome parts. And the secondary paint on bikes covers not only the handlebars but a majority of parts from front to back. Kind or steals away the possibility of having a realistic, nice looking motorcycle without having the ability to use the chrome paint as the secondary paint on bikes. Examples from GTA W in general, of chrome parts: In comparison to the closest look you can get in GTA W at the moment: You can see from the belt cover and the suspension near the front wheels, the difference between all the greyish looking parts and the actual chrome parts which aren't affected by the paint job done on the secondary paint. And the grey really comes out at night. Examples of actual motorcycles, showing just how many bikes have chrome parts over anything else: Not even including muscle cars and the benefit of having chrome paint available to those, bikes alone are a real pain to deal with when your only options are an ugly grey, black, or some other color that looks real ridiculous on a bike.
  11. always fun roleplaying with you peeps. keep up the good work ?

Really sucks to not have the ability to put chrome on muscle cars and especially bikes.
