  1. nobody thought some panda trading cards would fix the economy yet here we are
  2. taking the shitposting straight from discord onto the forums
  3. I'm examining the statistics, I'll come back once I have an accurate count of stuff, it may shock you, it may shock me, I dunno how it'll do. But I wish to say, that I did find out for myself, I did go through EMT training, the newly up-to-date one and I still think it's overcomplicated for the community my view won't change on that with the current procedures, to that, we'll agree to disagree and move on, if it's something EMS factions wish to take on as feedback, go right ahead, but I'm not gonna turn this topic into an argument about specifics, it's feedback as a community member.
  4. I assume you have access to some sort of statistics. Is there any chance you can go over the numbers, since I'm going by what I've been told from another FD Command member. Going specifically by the numbers of how many guys you've fully completed EMT/Paramedic training with & how many people are currently in training, what is the average amount of time that someone needs to get trained for field deployment? i may have been mislead. Regarding the complexity of medical standards: My opinion remains the same. I believe it's too complicated for the current playerbase of the server.
  5. this might as well be a completely unpopular opinion but as someone who's been quietly observing LSFD throughout the years and I don't say this to hate, I just hope something can improve on it. The current training to become a medic is too hard for the server, the retention rate for the faction was already low, now it's just lower. It's cool, but given the fact that when I roleplayed with a bunch of medics and they started asking me very specific questions that I had no idea what the meaning of it was, it's just a bit too complicated. Compared to the previous medical procedures, whilst yes, inconsistent, it still offered a baseline into medical roleplay while compensating for the roleplay that's based on this server. Cause right now, if you go through the training offered for medical roleplay, you come out an EMT in real-life. As a suggestion, something genuinely has to be done to simplify the medical procedures, especially because in 99% of callouts you have people that don't really care about medical roleplay that much, whilst also maintaining a baseline of realism. I think I can confidently say that nobody outside of LSFD roleplayers knows the meaning of Oropharyngeal airways and nasopharyngeal airways.
  6. I've passed this forward to the rest of LFM. Nevertheless, faction members of both LSPD and LSSD are more then welcome to share their opinions on this as the discussions are undergoing.
  7. LS County Sheriffs @LSSDHQ · Jan 2 On the 28th of September 2023, a uniformed Gruppe 6 Security Officer was arrested for the murder of a Los Santos Sheriff's Department Detective. We can confirm that the shooter is currently in custody and has been arrested and is being charged with Capital Murder. Our Station Detectives are working alongside the Homicide Bureau to gather all the details behind the shooting and release a full statement regarding the shooting. #LSSD
  8. Legal Money Grants are now OPEN (Timeframe: 6th of September 2023 - 31st of October 2023)
  9. Affirm, I can confirm that SADCR is on it's way. The documentation and materials are on the final stages of completion. It's currently being mapped, there's mods being made, the whole shebang. If anyone's interested in joining the project and helping it, I suggest contacting @Midwest for more information. Once all that's done, future announcements will be made and recruitment will most likely be started.
  10. This is not gonna go anywhere and toxic comments have already started. Considering the situation that happened today, I think this thread is a bit too much out of context, so I'll clarify the rules for you. If someone goes and cleans graffiti by themselves off their property, regardless of people being around or not and gets shot doing it, it's blatant deathmatching. If you hire someone else to do it and they do it while the area's not saturated by gang members who claimed the turf, and said gang members go out their way to track down the person and shoot them, it's deathmatching. But, if contractor, service workers, armed or not, go on gang turf, knowingly endanger their lives by cleaning up graffiti in front of gang members and active gang areas, while they know they're there, especially if said service workers turn up in numbers, then you're blatantly provoking them and it's an argument of if you valued your life or not. They have the full right to pull a gun on you and shoot you down for it and you'll most likely be CK'd doing it. There's no way you'll see service workers in Compton go out their way to clean up graffiti in front of gang members, the guy's gonna get stabbed or shot doing it. So it really just boils down to logic. It's case-by-case, yes, but there's logic to be applied, ask if your actions are blatantly provoking or not. Someone tagging something up is a way for them to knowingly advertise that they operate in the area, and if you go and clean that up in front of them, it's the same as yelling at gang members that pull up. It's not gonna end well for you. So yes, while shooting someone purely based on "cleaning up graffiti" isn't allowed, you also have to factor in pure logic of the situation and the circumstances around it as well as the current situation by itself, in some factors it's not deathmatching.
  11. i just hope they don't have the same issue with the watch as they had with the fucking bag.
  12. yes, i was asked a question and i answered it to the best of my understanding of the law. if you wish to challenge the law, you have IC means to do it, and three rounds of courts to take it towards. Admins won't question a crush request as long as an LEO confidently thinks they are in the legal right to do so. Which, again, can be appealed through IC means. As such, clarification for this law and or the legal standing behind it can be taken to the Senate and/or SAGOV/JSA for further clarification, they may make their own determination, which will then be reviewed by Shanks as any law is reviewed. I'll go ahead and lock this on that note.
  13. shut up you have no words in this. your honor i wanna appeal to the supreme court.
