  1. bro needs to rebrand to chessboard bandit
  2. Some people just jump to assuming we have the car, maybe making THIS the message instead of saying LSPD has it would be easier. Cause I believe this one only shows when you /vget it.
  3. Currently, when player's vehicles get chopped for parts they get a message saying the LSPD has recovered the vehicle. This leads to us getting lots of calls from people asking for their cars back, which leads to confusion when we never actually impounded the car. I suggest the message be amended to say something like: "The LSPD has recovered the vehicle, and it will be released from the Vinewood Impound Lot at DATE & TIME." This way, we avoid all the unnecessary calls and questions about cars that PD likely never even interacted with.
  4. I'd argue that the training and recruitment process is a vital and necessary part of those factions, to ensure we have quality roleplayers providing quality medical roleplay. The whole point of the training is to make sure you know what you're roleplaying and not just making it up as you go. Hard to imagine a good private EMS faction would be any easier to get into than FD or PHMC. Especially if LFM is overseeing it.
  5. On the topic of private EMS, if FD and PHMC are struggling with activity, how can a private EMS faction expect to be more active? Medical roleplay, especially at the paramedic level, is a niche and there's only so many people that know how to do it right, or are willing to learn it. Surely another medical faction would only spread the other faction's activity even thinner?
  6. This would be nice for players that don't know/care about RPing their pulse, etc. But what do we do with people who do want to have that in-depth roleplay?
  7. It does kind of make it a little RPG-ish. I was hoping more for an Ace-like damage system. My focus was mainly on pre-hospital since I've only ever RP'd in the Emergency Room and as a Paramedic, so that's just my personal experience. I'd like to see the ability to apply tourniquets to stop a bleeding limb, or a realistic blood loss script (not just a timer that kills you at the end. I'd also like to see pain medication play a bigger role. Maybe if you're shot, stabbed, in a major crash, etc, you get a "pain" screen effect that can only go away with varying levels of narcotics depending on how much health was lost, where the injury occurred, etc.
  8. I think a more advanced health system would be nice. Something like Arma 3's ACE Medical mod. As someone who RP'd as a paramedic on here for a while I noticed it gets hard to keep up with the ever evolving and changing medical protocols. Maybe something slightly simpler?
  9. as long as ic stays ic and ppl dont get mad over ic stuff oocly i think we'd all get along great
  10. Strikes sound good on paper. However, what if we replaced admin jails with temp bans (no strikes at all)? So instead of a 120-minute admin jail, you take like... four or five days off? Then we can make "permanent" bans a little more permanent.
  11. I don’t think a long and elaborate backstory makes you a better rper. My backstories, usually, are a couple paragraphs just to set out a basic history (place of birth, important relationships, a couple major life events, and education) from there I just kinda improvise on the fly. Rarely do I actually reference the backstory in RP, aside from small talk and such. It’s helpful to keep in mind, but I think the true test of someone’s rp abilities is if they can make a character that feels real, not how many words they can write. I do think though backstories should be kept in stuff like house applications, faction applications, etc since it gives whoever is looking over the application an insight into your rp style and abilities, but I don’t think they should be required to be super long. Just enough to get a feel for you as a roleplayer.
  12. I think thats different than what MJ is getting at. Yeah FiveM will probably be ported over to GTA 6, but there's no confirmed information saying it will ship with it. I doubt it will. PC might ship with FiveM. Sidenote, I don't know why everyone is so surprised that PC wont be out at the same time as PS5/Xbox. This is a pretty common trend with Rockstar, where they wait to launch the PC version for a year or so. I think the most PC users will wait would be a year, maybe slightly less. It's somewhat comparable to RDR2 in that sense, especially cause it looks like some of the systems are shared. Anyway, time to save up to buy a PS5 and use it solely for GTA VI, do wish they'd launch PC at the same time, but... again not surprised they aren't.
