I get you man and respect people that put effort in their character, but lets be real most of these guys do it just to get cheap houses and buy supercars. I'm all for someone trying new things or trying to fit in a black gang area with a white character but keeping a supercar in a rough neiboorhood isn't realistic at all and makes a lot of real role-players sick especially factions RPing in gang areas and trying to develop around this environment.

You can check the map and see that there is no rentable property in Davis or Rancho aside from motels. I'd like to add too that they're not RPing the fear that someone who grew in Vinewood/Vespucci would feel while living in areas like Davis and in the same time having a car that costs more than his house. Ingame the worst that could happen is getting robbed or PKed but irl living in a place like this is a mental and physical strain that someone from Vinewood/Vespucci would never cope with especially while having cash to move somewhere else it all comes down to common sense and realistic portrayal of the character.

God i hate these along with the "buying anything, buying any car, money isn't a problem" playing thr game like it's an RPG this shows their lack of character development

Making their lives in the gang area a nightmare may be an IC solution forcing them to go back where they belong irl if you're a complete stranger moving from a rich neighbourhood to a ghetto and parking a sport car outside you sure as hell won't find it intact the next morning maybe destroy their car or rob their house? Assault them? It's still a big OOC poor portrayal though for a rich guy to live in Rancho, Davis...etc

The xm radio won't make a sound, i tried: - enabling/disabling CEF - using /radioshow and making sure that the volume was up - booting the game in online, turning the music volume all the way up / down - /setstation (from 1 to 120) - Reinstalling Rage

Yeah i should've mentioned that i meant that not everyone has a modded car and by modded i meant with a turbo and all that it's not uncommon yeah but seeing every car on the market modded to the point that the hood nearly explodes while it's on the road isn't realistic for me

Seems fine for me people won't RP DUIs and drugs effects so now they're forced to drive erratically. This is already a big problem with alcohol when a lot of people just down 10 bottles and drive like it's all fine powergaming the whole thing

I really love your idea currently it's stupid that everyone has a car with crazy visual modifications and fully modified engine, brakes and suspension which is a rare occurrence in real life outside of people who are really into racing or career racers

Good idea I'm all for it the current speed limiter system forces you to be on the move to work and results in awkward moments where you eat a pole with your car while trying to enter the command

Got them from having an interceptor catch up to me while i was on a highway in a Pariah, the heli and other cruisers couldn't keep up but the interceptor somehow kept the same speed as me even coming inches close to my car's trunk from time to time, i was left with the question is my car and the heli slow? Or does the interceptor have a rocket engine under its hood? Yeah my bad confused the buffalo with the interceptor.

One of the best officers i saw on any RP server samp/ragemp combined always trying to create RP and interacting with their environment while being cool OOC unless someone starts doing dumb things like doing off road with a car that barely touches the ground. Could be cool if there were less cruisers with a plane's speed because most of the time unless it's the crown vic or the SUV model pursuing someone they have literally no chance against the other two cruisers (Chevy and Charger models i think) which outperform sport cars and keep up with them like they're chasing a Burrito van.

Thought it was a rule already, unless a player is playing a character who is in a stolen vehicle, really high on drugs, has a gun in the car...etc he shouldn't just take any officer in a high speed chase each time a traffic stop is initiated on him. Maybe like wait and assess the situation, is he going to arrest me ? Search the car ? Telling me to get out ? The classic chase throught all of SA then suicide by cop doesn't offer any RP to the LEOs.

Yup agree, maybe make the chances of death dependent on /damages? Yesterday while RPing in Davis my character got hit in the leg 2 times with a bat and boom died in 2 seconds and had the /acceptdeath message show up
