  1. Detailed Description So for anyone here who is from SAMP or some five communities which had this feature, you will know what I am talking about right away. I'd like to suggest a /20 command be added for law enforcement officers which have no microphone perms. What this command would do is place a marker/beacon on that person that fellow law enforcement could see, and this marker would follow them until they type the command again to turn it off, this was very common in samp for pursuits, I know we used it a lot where I came from especially if two chase's where going on, that said unlike those servers, the version I am suggesting we make, would be only accessible to officers who have been granted access by an admin/LFM, and should only be given to those who have no mic perms. The reason I suggest this is because since factions like LSPD and Sheriffs have been getting more and more no mic perm officers, we run into the situation of those officers not being able to call the pursuit due to no mic, and while in this case you could just say have them partner with a officer with a mic, that is just not always an option for them, I have seen a few in LSPD who play when nobody of their division is on to go with them, and its also a bit unfair to restrict them with a partner over no microphone, as they should have all the same options as any other officer would. To add to that, because these officers often end up alone in the field with no microphone to call in a pursuit, I have often noticed them giving chase on their own, and not being able to radio for backup until the suspect wrecks, is tased, or is tackled, just the other day I heard the pursuit pass from a distance but was unable to locate them, only to end up responding ten minute later to that no mic officer, after they radioed in about having a suspect tased and needing assistance. I know its not an ideal solution, but at least this would give those officers a chance to be just like every other fellow officer out there, and in my opinion as long as it remains strictly for no mic officers only, there should be no abuse to it, I also believe it makes sense to have something like this as rply despite the fact they have no mic perms, this officer is able to speak in game, rply they could call out a pursuit on their own if needed, all this command would do is give them the fighting chance they deserve. My idea is that when triggered the command would place a moving marker on the officers location, and place a message from dispatch stating something along the lines of "Dispatch: 2L33, has an active pursuit in progress, requesting backup, supervisor, and airship to TAC-1", officers could all still move to a TAC channel , so that command and responding units can communicate as normal, and even have the secondary unit call out once visual is gained on the vehicle, or we could workout a policy to have a unit with a microphone take lead of the pursuit once they have located the chase and are able to do so. As mentioned above, my number one concern is that if we add a system like this in, that it remain restricted and only give by admins/LFM to those without microphones, I don't wish to see anyone from any faction abusing this command, and I feel that this would be the best way to prevent that. My second concern is for officer safety, regardless of which faction you are from, you should not have to be put in more danger than normal, over an OOC situation where you don't have or can't use an IRL microphone to call in something like this, we wanted to be more inclusive by allowing no mic perm officers in factions, its only right that they are given a way to call for help if their suspect decides to flee from them, just like every other law enforcement officer has on the server already. If anyone would like to see video of what I am suggesting I can provide that, the only reason I am not attaching video, is because I don't want upset anyone with videos of another community. Relevant Commands/Items /20 How will it benefit the server? This command will allow officers with no mic perms to be just like any other player, they will be able to do a pursuit, without the worry that nobody is going to back them up due to not knowing about the chase. By adding some form of system like this so that we can locate a no mic perm officer who is in pursuit, it will increase that officers safety as now they would be able to get the help they need without issue.
  2. Honestly I support this, I feel like the lightbar is the one thing missing from our ramp trucks on the server. If I'm honest, I doubt LSPD will buy one as we rarely do towing these days, and already possess the normal flatbeds. But public works would be able to make good use of it, and heck even the civilian version, civs can get the flatbed with a working lightbar, why not give this as another option as well, it makes sense as most wreckers like this have lighting in real life, there's actually a real life version just like our ramp trucks in my town here in Texas, and it has a lightbar on it as well.
  3. +1 for me. I know this is a mixed topic, I've seen people who want it and those who don't, but I feel if done in the way you describe it, that it could be a nice addition to the server. Also love the part of LEO's being able to check if its on or not, thats actually feature that I have always wanted to see on this server, and hope to see in the future, it honestly would just bring a nice little extra roleplay to have when doing traffic stops. I personally have come from servers where seatbelts where a thing, the way we had it is it would come off automatically when trying to exit the vehicle, but you would need to do the command once you reentered the vehicle, in order to put it back on, it also kept you from being ejected as well. just a small thought as well, could always have a shortened version of /seatbelt if introduced, maybe something like /sb, or even binding it to a hotkey if they prefer. Second thought if possible, could be to have the door chime sound play when you first start the car to remind you to put it on, I know the seatbelt chime is common in newer vehicles here in the USA, my IRL jeep won't hush until you put it on lol.
  4. Agreed it needs some love, at the moment, I can't even get the headlight to work, because it says I'm out of fuel/charge.
  5. +1 I'd love to see a system like this in place, when you take into account mappers like to make custom furniture, it just makes sense that we could group them and move the whole custom item at once. Full support from me, I hope they can do this if its possible.
  6. removing listing (((Lock and archive))
  7. Contender is the only remaining vehicle, Buffalo, and RV have sold.
  8. I have reached out to both of you via email. ((PM))
  9. vehicle for sale! I am open to offers, I'll reach out if I see one I can do. Vapid Contender Sport (( stats ))
  10. +1 desperately needed, I love biking, but if I want to go up to the trails or the beach, I'd love to be able to load my bike for transport to said location. I believe this was approved back in like 2020, but it never got implemented.
  11. +1 from me, I'd love to see this implemented into the server. My opinion would be that we limit legal sales to time frame you mentioned California uses, as that seems like the most realistic thing to do, as I can't just go walk into a store right now and buy fireworks when its not the right time for them. I would say a limit is not a bad idea, maybe 2 for normal player 5 for platinum, and 10 for partners, only time I can see no limit being okay would be on July 4th, as all across the country they will be going non stop all night. Also not sure what California law on this matter is, but I do know in a lot of places, you actually can only shoot them outside the city limits, not sure if that's how California does it, but if they do that could be another way to get law enforcement involved as well, as city cops could issue citations to people discharging them in the city. All that said I think this could be an amazing idea, its something I have often considered suggesting myself, however you did a much better job at explaining it then I would have, best of luck on this idea, and I hope we get to see it soon.
  12. Full support from me, as someone who has worked in companies, as well as independent on past and present characters, the pay is horrible especially for speedo drivers, and honestly the mule isn't a vast improvement to my trucker characters income either.
  13. +1 as a traffic officer who always use this system, I'd love to be able to move it like we do the mounted radar system.
  14. +1 Crime Broadcasts. on pcad would make it much easier to keep up with all the broadcasts that departments send out.
