  2. Yep and then add social needs along with sleep and you find yourself playing The Sims on very good resolution. The script is there to enhance the roleplay, not the other way around.
  3. While I like the clothes, the hairstyles are almost a necessity in my opinion. The rest aren't really needed (skins/map).

    I agree, this should be enforced in any place where CCTVs were roleplayed being placed and there is a camera object to support it (as otherwise the player could claim he had no way of knowing the camera is there). If there is an out-of-character conflict, out-of-character evidence will need to be provided to confirm the actions happened in the sight of the camera and then the camera footage can be roleplayed.
  6. My issue with this is enforcing the rule you're suggesting. "A player will not escalate to killing another player over a situation their character would not realistically respond that way to in real life." Anyone can simply say their character is insane and thus have a reason to respond erratically and violently when there wasn't much justification for it. That's why at the end of the day this is down to admins' judgement to ask the right questions and find out whether this falls under Deathmatch, which is a current, existing rule, or not.

    Tattoos On NC

    As Justus stated, there will be a checkbox upon namechanging on the UCP to remove all current tattoos. As for removing them normally, like stated by others it's a very expensive process and should be so in-game as well. Think about the tattoo you're getting for your character and make sure it's something that fits you and you want to do. If you do it without thinking, it's just something you need to deal with later on IC.

    /frisk with an option to accept or deny for the other player is good. /mug isn't, we don't want to turn this into a cops and robbers server.
  11. Would love to see a system like that where outfits can be moved between players (as long as both are from the same gender & has the custom ped skin, to avoid bugs/issues when applying). Let's get more opinions on this though.

    I was thinking about a general agriculutre/farming script for a while. A definite yes. Would especially like to see legal plant farming with actual dynamic in-game plant objects to camouflage later added marijuana growing scripts, if such should exist. This would ensure growing any plant outside wouldn't immediately be assumed illegal as it shouldn't. Forwarding!
  13. I agree with you on most points made other than the one related to drugs. While the points you made might be realistically true to the US, I think that this is one of those places we need to put the game aspect of things into play. The system I suggested is a very realistic way to produce cocaine and crack, and more can come into play for the other type of drugs. I don't think we really want to avoid the opportunity for players to roleplay the production of drugs and just have it immediately "shipped" and spawned by the server just based on the fact that this is the US. Keep in mind we are restricted to this map as this is a game, you can't fly to south america where you have your factory and field set up to do this type of roleplay so having that attitude is the same as saying no southern RP can occur on this server as there is no southern areas in it (even Sandy Shores is north to LS/Los Angeles). Basically what I'm trying to say is we need to keep things as realistic and immersive as possible but while doing that, not hurt the gameplay by taking out aspects of the game and opportunities for players just because of it. On top of all; coca trees can be grown in the U.S although as said I agree with you that it's not really known to be done as it's much easier to do it in south america.

  15. I have personally created a realistic cocaine production system for an old SA-MP server. In order to ensure that system was realistic I have researched the production of Cocaine quite a bit. What most people don't know is that the very first product you need to create cocaine is actually a plant, just like Marijuana, called Coca. Coca plant leaves are harvested and dried up to then go through a process including a couple of differnet machines and ingredients. I will gladly write up an organized and simple tutorial explaining how realistic cocaine production works if any developer would agree to take up on that. I would really love to see the server going in a direction of actually making the production of drugs realistic and immersive. My suggestion: All players could acquire the main component of the drug (i.e marijuana/coca seeds) and go through some intense labor to produce the relevant drug out of it. The quality of the drugs can depend on their experience (how many times they've done it, simple stat). Better quality drugs will result in more HP gain/better effects. For Cocaine production, as mentioned previously players would need a couple of machines, so they would have to purchase and place those machines (furniture system, as suggested by the_criserk) in their property to then use them in the process. If cops were to come into the property and find those machines organized together it should be pretty clear what was happening there and very immersive. * The more players would invest into drugs (time and money) the better results they will have (drugs would have stats based on their quality) and the more money they would be able to get from them. All players would be able to create drugs, but only those who are really interested in them would put the money and time to create anything close to good. * Furnitures would be used to increase the immersiveness, some specific machines could possibly be used in more than one type of drugs production.

  18. Pretty decent suggestion. I am going to note however that with all the pros mentioned there must come cons as well, such as a drastically lower "gas" capacity, etc, to ensure a realistic and balanced system. Forwarding.
  19. There may just not be more objects available to be used as walls. We'll look into it but if you do want to contribute to this, feel free to find more objects and suggest them. I'm just letting you know there might not be any more available in the GTA V/GT-MP pool.
