  3. Sadly this is untrue, the server can play on your FPS. Best example with another game, the infamous Star Citizen. If I play right after they restarted the server, I've an easy 60-70 FPS. 3-4 hours later, same server? I start my game, log in and I can barely get to 30 FPS. It is well known their server are kinda shit and it impact your FPS in the end. Explain this to me now? Nothing changed in those 3-4 hours for me, it's just the server not transmitting his stuff as quick as it used to be. Again, it's just with RageMP as well, it's well known it's a shitty client coded weirdly, their streamer always been shit and it's why the moment you have a little bit of vehicles and players in the same spot you just lose performance and it's get worse if your ping is high.
  4. Okay you are mixing a lot of stuff together right now, I know about ping, demon drag, desync and all that. But putting a 60 FPS cap wouldn't affect the ping, the demon drag wouldn't be better or worst and it wouldn't affect the ram and the props and all that. The game just doesn't feel sluggish at 60 FPS, we aren't talking about 30 FPS here, 60 FPS is smooth. Stop with the fact 60 FPS is unplayable, cmon now. A better ping give you one advantage, which is again, better FPS when there is a lot of stuff and players, because the server need to send that to you everytime they are loading, you can have a 4090 with the best CPU and 32gb of ram, if you are far from the server, it will basically lock your FPS low because it cannot send it fast enough, that's pretty much how RageMP work, sadly,l. 60 FPS cap wouldn't fix all the desync issue and all that, of course. But since the performance of the cars, the speed you can shot and pretty much anything you can do is all linked to your FPS, it would even the playfield a little bit more. All we asking is the devs to have a look if it's even possible on RageMP and if it's possible, can it be toggled only for an events and not server-wide.

Yeah, it's called fairness, and not giving an advantage to someone because he just has more money to throw on his PC than the others, or because one live more away from the server which can also dictate how much FPS you have. But since everyone here saying they aren't competitive, nobody should care about losing that high FPS advantage, right?
  6. Well I've a 4080 and sadly because I'm far from the server, anytime there is a lot of people inside a dimension, my FPS drop around 70-80 FPS. Only way for me would be to move closer to the server! 😅 Everyone saying it's a roleplay server and laugh about the competition side of it but everyone here is competitive like hell, just the fact you don't want to even the play field for everyone shows it 🤣
  7. You just said it yourself, it gives you an advantage, why people should be advantage because they have more money to throw at their PCs or because they are closer to the server?
  8. The FPS isn't even linked to your PC specs in the end, it's a lot more about your ping and how far you are from the server. I've tested it myself, low graphic vs max graphic in single-player, I can achieve almost 300 FPS with the lowest graphic and around 200 FPS with max graphic. On the server? If I'm alone in an area without any props and all, between 100-150 FPS, either with low or max graphic, it doesn't change anything. So it all come to one thing, are you lucky enough to be close to the server, because even with the fastest internet connection, you gonna have a high ping (Over 200) if you are not in Europe basically. And the moment you had a lot of people, vehicles and props to load, the server need to send you where they are all the time and that just get your FPS lower and lower, even if you have the PC for it, you can throw thousand of dollars to it, it won't make a difference. I understand those who says it's a RP server and it shouldn't matter, and in the most case it doesn't, but there is a competitive part to the server depending what you doing, obviously racing is one of them and it's growing bigger and bigger in the last year. Most people who gonna complain about the 60 FPS cap will be the players that know they have an advantage, but they won't say it like this of course. In the end we need to even the play field for everyone, it's just a game but it's still unfair right now toward players who can't achieve those high FPS, because the difference is indeed huge. And not just in racing. It's achievable on FiveM and most servers use it now because like we said, it make a huge difference. Question is, is it achievable on RageMP? If it's the case, there is no reason to not use it, GTA5 itself is optimize to run at 60 FPS anyway since it's a old game, try it yourself, the game just feel smoother that way anyway. Like that everything would be more fair for everyone. If there is a way to simply force it through a command or example in a dim, at least it would give the options for the people who want to use it for their events, leaving the rest of the players untouched by this.
  9. So that even worse, imagine if you can't find RP with 800 players... What's your chance to find RP with 100 players? 😅
  10. It was a big mistake indeed and I don't understand how they could think splitting the community in two (When LS was already losing players regularly) would be beneficial. I remember when GTAW and FiveRP were fighting together at the beginning of GTA 5 RP... Both servers were struggling because the community was splitted in two, making both servers with a low playerbase... The day FiveRP closed, everyone switched to GTAW and that was the golden era of this server because... IT WAS THE ONLY ENGLISH TEXT BASED server... And now, they just shot themselves in the foot. It would be a mature thing to just accept they did a mistake and fix it. Right now, 22PM EST, 120 on SA, 110 on LC... Make that one server? 230 players... And it will probably be bigger because you have a lot of people who get on the server right now and probably disconnect after 15 minutes because they just can't find any RP because 100 players on those big maps, it's not enough!
  11. Actually both are still dying, killing each other slowly... We barely reached 400 players with both servers when we used to reach around 700 when it was just LS alone...
  12. Allowing characters from SA to move to LC will be the final nail in the coffin for the SA server... The only thing that kept some people here was their characters and all the stuff they had (Money, etc)... They didn't want to lose all of the time they put on this server. Now they will be able to move freely on LC without losing all their stuff, on a server where there is a lot more players... Oh and there is probably some people on LC that will be disgust about the fact some new characters will popup and "destroy" the economy with all the money they gathered in the last 5-6 years in SA... They will leave too. Since the announcement, playerbase been dropping a lot too so... Yeah...

I know Rage working to make EAC optional and Nervous will probably remove it from the server once it is done, but I'm just wondering if anyone was able to make Ansel from NVIDIA (The game filter thingy) work again with EAC? Because I just can't make it work. I was at least able to get Shadowplay work again by making it recording the whole desktop instead of just GTA, but I didn't find anyway to make Ansel work. If you have a solution, please tell me! 🙂
