  2. Quaint apartment with full kitchen and bath. Beautiful views of the sunsets and friendly neighbors will make you fall in love with this home! It had one bed, one bath, and a downstairs pool included. $500,000. Call or SMS Clarice King, 43809707 ((MP 135,000, FP 122093)) https://imgur.com/a/fYNrXOg
  3. I don't really talk to anyone about it. My one good friend likes the old GTA multiplayer but I didn't care for it. When he sees me on GTAW he wants to play GTA instead and I just have to say no it's.. not the same thing... so we don't talk about it. Rest of my family knows about it through seeing me but they're uninterested so it's not a talking matter.
  4. @Bratan I've waited over 2 hours at times but sometimes you just need to be patient. I think 10 or 15 minutes is pretty decent actually.
  5. I like all the different styles of emotes, be it /do, /my, /ame, /me, etc and how people choose to use them. What bothers me is when (it happens when people are being shitty to each other) people don't give others an appropriate amount of time to type out a decent /me. Example: Dude 1 grabs Lady 1 by the arm and shouts "Don't move, bitch." ... Dude 2 grabs Lady 1's other arm. Lady 1 grabs her pepper spray with her free hand and gives Dude1 a squirt in the eyes. /b Dude 1: No you cant do that cause we did our /mes before you, we're gonna go rape and kill you now. I don't need 3 hours to do so, but give me a chance since I don't always type so fast. I also don't understand what Dom meant by playing in past tense.
  6. I also agree with this one, super suggestion! I think if it worked like a standard, current transponder, the transponder shouldn't give away player name, regist. number, etc, and just be a selected code. However I think if it was just easier to put blips that gave name, number, etc then that would be the way to go. If this were the case, then I feel like ATC or whoever had access to those blips should acknowledge and RP that they do not know that info. All they'd know is there is an aircraft out there squawking a transponder code and until they communicate via radio, they have no idea who that is. Also, I think it should be default on until it's manually turned off. Most people leave the x-ponder on in their plane and rarely, if ever, turn it off.
  7. I've met gtaw players from all corners of the globe and a lot of them are multi lingual. I think in a lot of people's minds on the server, that is not unusual to be able to speak or write in 2 languages. Personally, I barely speak one, and that's how I keep my characters too.
  8. @St3fan[NL] I would really really like to see more stats in the UCP spreadsheets! I've run into bugs several times where I haven't been paid for a job or set of jobs and it'd be really nice to check the logs in UCP and see what's been recorded and what hasn't. If I could see customer names / accepting mech names that'd be SO helpful. If I could see # components used would just be the icing on the cake.
  9. I totally agree with this. I don't think someone might lie and try to take advantage of a mechanic cause they don't want to wait... I think they will definitely do this. Not everyone, but certainly someone. I can double check on bmanager but no names are attached to that so it can be hard to tell. Also my mechies can't access bmanager so it's not that useful. To add to this suggestion, maybe we could add into bmanager or ucp the name of the customer and the name of the mech who did /aorder.
  10. User: PersianPrincess Comment: Is so obvious why one owns nice car in neighborhood like that. Follow the money to the drugs and hookers.
  11. If an aircraft was to take off inside of a controlled airspace, ATC would try to contact it, however it wouldn't be declared "rogue" nor would fighter jets be scrambled to chase it down. It would be tracked via radar and probably someone sent to investigate why they didn't contact the appropriate controllers. Once I was flying irl and was in contact with regional atc, they gave me a direction to fly and then released me from their services. The direction they gave flew me very close to Atlanta's busiest airport. When I landed there was only a phone call from the airport controller's supervisor. They didn't know I had been talking to regional controllers so I was in their airspace with no radio contact. There was no "rogue" aircraft, no jets, nothing like that. There are restricted areas on the charts that might get you escorted by military, like in Los Alamos, New Mexico, but escorts wouldn't happen from only a lack of radio comms. In the case of actively being chased by the police things would be different, obviously. The laws regarding flying low are 1000 ft above the highest obstacle within 2000 ft radius in congested areas. This means cities. The laws outside of congested areas are 500ft away from people or property. I do agree that the flying in the video was a bit much and definitely not realistic.
  12. Crocker, The 5th amendment has nothing to do with stand your ground laws. 5th amendment is the right to not bear witness against oneself in court. Stand your ground laws have to do with someone protecting themselves in the streets or out in the open. If I was just walking and you started intimidating me badly, by law I have the right to defend myself. These laws vary by state and California, which is most represented by San Andreas, is not a stand your ground state. They have a castle doctrine in place, so if someone breaks into my home and I feel in danger, I can use deadly force. Let's get real though, that golf course is basically unused and suing over a picture then saying Sten had poor rp? It's amazing to see all the ways people justify theft.
