Yeah, I have a similar mindset as you. My character was heavily dependent on the PED model and with me not being able to get it back I have not used it since because the interest is gone. If I had to guess it was removed because people tend to use them to troll, but I hope that is not the reason because it also punishes the people that likes diversity when it comes to characters.

If you already had a character with a PED model you'll still be able to use it. I was trying to see if they added more models with 1.1 and ended up making mine a MP model instead by mistake and with no way of fixing it. I asked in /help and the answer I got was it was removed. I didn't ask why or if permanent so this topic is something I'm interested in figuring out as well.

This is something I've always wanted and I feel like this type of thing is so overlooked when it comes to immersion. Not only will it make cooking have a meaning but it also opens the door for more potential RP. Like paying for someone to cook food in bulk for someone and deliver it, or if your character is wealthy enough hire a personal chef that comes over to your place and cooks the food for you.

You can't really speak for my own experience though, can you? Been robbed at gun point. Attempted robbery in the backyard of my property in the Canals. Had multiple friends get PK'd and 1 CK'd. Constant shootouts. People literally camping Canals for people to exit/enter their properties to rob them. And I haven't done any of the things you mentioned. Not gonna comment further on this subject though because I don't want to derail the subject.

Can confirm as someone that moved from Canals to Mirror Park due to crime. I do support this idea but it'll dry out rather quickly due to the insane crime rate in Vespucci.

100% support this. It's super annoying.

If you ask me the issue is the fact that we can't buy IRL brands. The alarms we have in-game have no depth. We don't know how they are installed, what they would look like etc and I think that is a major flaw for how they can/should be RP'd. I'm all for having the admin be the deciding factor when the alarm is triggered IF we get more depth and information about the alarms we are able to buy so the handling admin knows how to handle it more properly.
