This would be an absolutely amazing edition to the server. My current character would probably want nothing to do with it now, but when I roleplayed my character Micah Mendoza during my time with the Tongva Nation, we often would go on camping trips and just spend time out in nature. Could see something like this working similar to how the weed farming system works where you get better at it over time. Better able to identify varieties of mushrooms, find better honey pots (mushroom dense areas), and so on. Would be awesome to see folks out in the forests foraging during Morel season, selling their crops to restaurants, and so on. And of course, this could add illegal RP as well, giving experienced foragers a means to find varieties of psychedelic mushrooms, and perhaps even learn to grow them in their own. +1 Edit: And for all my fungus loving folks on the server looking for resources in real life, I recommend reading Entangled Life by Merlin Sheldrake. Absolutely fantastic book!

I think this post hits the nail on the head. GTAW has been one of my most played games of all time since I found the server in 2018, and over the course of that time I’ve learned that most of the content of this post strikes close to home. I commend every individual here that hammers it out on both servers 7 days a week no problem, but it is important to be aware of when your experience on the server crosses a threshold that becomes unhealthy. I do agree with OP that the inactivity timers can be problematic as sometimes it feels like a tall order to find xx amount of hours to spend on a virtual world every 2 weeks when many of us are working full time jobs, school, etc in real life, and to me, when life gets busy and I start thinking about that timer clicking is when this game begins to become a chore and burns me out. Regardless, know when it’s time to take care of yourself, take a breather when you need to, and know that GTAW will still be here when it’s time to come back!

Thank you man, this was very touching! Rooster more or less lived a life filled with tragedy after tragedy. He witnessed many of his friends die, watched other friends become his enemies, and in the end was killed by the same people he considered to be his family. He witnessed the reservation get ripped apart before his eyes, he was sent into hiding over debts that were not his, forced to toss one best friend's dead body off a cliff, and was left completely alone after his other best friend committed suicide until he was dragged out of the mud by several members of LDMC that would grow to become his second family. He repped for the Rez Gang OGs, he flew flags for Los Desalmados MC, and for a time in his life even went completely legitimate to run away from his ghosts. He built up a practical empire out of Harmony to prove to a former love interest and the elders of Tongva Nation that he would be the one that broke the status quo, and at the end of the day? He did just that. Micah was never one to raise a hand against people in anger, and was commonly known as the guy to maintain a calm demeanor and lend an ear or helping hand to anyone that needed it. Even before the faces of the two men that killed him and the woman that betrayed him, he faced his death calmly and with dignity. Rooster was my favorite and longest lasting character I've ever created. I am very devastated he is gone, but I am greatly humbled by the outreaching of people both inside and out of Los Desalmados MC that have expressed their sadness over his death and shared great memories we all created together. Nevertheless, the show will go on and I look forward to seeing what my next grand adventure has in store for me! Thank you to everyone that helped be a part of Rooster's multi-year journey. I also support this. To put an asset cap on an scripted job is to cut off people's abilities to freely roleplay on the server. If people want to grind? They'll always find a way to do that, but those of us who want the rp should not be barred from doing what we enjoy due to the amount of assets we have as they don't necessarily reflect the lifestyles our characters live ICly anyways.
