Jesse Vega is a troubled teenager who lives in Palomino Avenue, Little Seoul with his single mother. He's been moving from place to place all over Los Santos with his mother until the 26th of July, when she scored a stable job at a factory near Palomino. She moved herself and Jesse into a run down flat in Little Seoul where the rent is cheap, and neighbors are loud. Jesse's upbringing has had a major impact on his personality and his view on life in general. Jesse doesn't take school seriously and his attendance backs that up. He's not academic but has a fair knowledge on how to survive on the tough streets where he's spent most of his youth. Jesse doesn't get up to any good, he's often gets up to petty activities such as thieving from stores and breaking into vehicles. Jesse does this to earn an some extra cash to help his mom pay the rent, and for his own good. Affiliating himself with the locals of Little Seoul, he's started to push drugs for one of the ragged gang members of the W/S Palomino Santanas gang.
