  1. but how long will you be based out of the projects...
  2. Why should players that are not involved in that scene also have to see the consequences of it being discussed? We've already figured out that turning off /f means players can't see messages from STAFF or similar which are important one-liners to update people - that's a-okay. We've got a teamspeak server that can host quick discussions, or you can use /b at the scene - there's no need to have a faction-wide chat enabled for OOC discussion when we have oh-so many mediums readily available already.
  3. "/f Last situation at [x] is voided." "/f Last TAC situation on hold, pause response." "/f Last situation is now an admin sit, hang on."
  4. PM a supervisor+ (for PD atleast) and inform them and they pass the message on through /f. It's a chain of command, and it's working well so far - why change it? e: We've got a discord server with six channels that could be used to talk with individuals on an OOC basis, we've got a teamspeak that works hand-in-hand with the current system in-game and allows people to have light chatter and be on duty, why do we need yet another medium to communicate with individuals on an out-of-character basis? Can people not take it upon themselves to form a small community between their friends, create a DM group or a whole server just for friends - there's no need to change how /f is.
  5. /b is a required medium for general out of character chat, can you imagine an administrator trying to talk to parties without it? if somebody is spamming it you ask them to stop, same with pms.
  6. faction chat should be kept for important announcements and nothing more, it distracts from roleplay - especially when it's being spammed 24/7 while you're trying to roleplay for anybody who throws the "/toggle f" argument at me - what if somebody from command uses the command as it is used now, for important ooc announcements relevant to those in-game, while you've got it turned off because people were spamming it?
