  1. Hello there @Jerm124, I will share my opinion on your situation. There was a time when I felt drained due to all the restrictions I placed on my character. Her personality wouldn't allow her to interact with just anyone, only specific people. I had certain limitations on her work and many other parameters that I felt obligated to follow strictly, in order to maintain consistency with the character. So, I reached out to someone I considered very creative and asked for their opinion. Should I continue pushing her storyline, slowly trying to develop her into what she might someday become? Or should I end the lifeline of her narrative altogether? The answer they gave me was enlightening. I'll share it with you in the following screenshot, without taking any credit for the wisdom shared. After all, we're writing stories. This isn't a theme park game; we're portraying the lives of fictional characters, and sometimes, life for them can be mundane. Reflect on your character's story and take your chances. Also, blaming the entire community for enjoying their roleplay while you're not is not a great way to deal with it. Try to learn from them, get inspired, or take some time off until you harness a concept that will spark your enthusiasm. It shouldn't necessarily be a time off from the community, but from the character instead. I hope you go through this and have a blessed day. Here is the advice I received:
  2. Update: Apparently there is /undershirtonly that does exactly what I was asking for in this thread. Sorry for the unnecessary suggestion. Please archive!
  3. Update: Apparently there is /undershirtonly that does exactly what I was asking for below. Sorry for the unnecessary suggestion. Please archive! Hello good people of GTAW, I have several outfits with a jacket, and I always choose undershirts that you can wear without a shirt. That way, I can roleplay taking my character's jacket off, and also do so graphically. The issue I am having is that, in order to achieve the above, I first have to use /bra off, leaving my character naked for a brief moment, before using /undershirt on. You can't use /shirt off and /undershirt on because the bra is still in place and clips. So what I normally do is find a location where others won't see my character and quickly execute those scripts to avoid exposing her. You can see the outcome in the pictures below! It would be ideal if there were a script that would do the following: Remove the Shirt, Remove the Bra, and Put the Undershirt back on. That would help us create more immersive outfits, like taking off a jacket when entering an interior. You can obviously do that now too, but it gives me a bit of anxiety to not break any rules by having my character's chest naked for a brief moment. It was a bit hard to explain, hope you got what I meant. Thank you! Here is my character with the jacket ON! And here is my character with the jacket off. After executing /bra off & /undershirt on!
  4. If you are fixated only on that specific concept and you are only roleplaying skinhead/nazi characters, then you definitely have an obsession and you are either racist, or racist in denial.
  5. Sorry @Bubonic, but what you said is two statements that counter each other. Let me please explain what I mean. You opened your remark with the following: So according to what you said above, the problem is that people have a concept for their character. And you find that problematic depending on the location. But you also use the same thing as a reason for certain IC portrayals, here: How come one part of the community is allowed to develop their own storylines, and the other has to face consciousness for doing so. That's the best example of Gatekeeping I can find spiced up with Dollhousing. One player using his character's storyline as an excuse for edgy behaviors, while another player has their experience ruined for practicing the same right.
  6. Sorry to break your bubble. But my White Davis character, had many friendly interactions and faced zero trouble around Davis and Rancho. You might have to be on your toes, because stray bullets fly all over the place when faction shootouts occur. But I never faced any short of questioning. My character was mostly ignored for the biggest part. I keep doing shifts in Davis LTD and people come to shop and interact. Getting robbed is one thing, but my character was never threatened randomly or felt unwelcome. I had people trying to get me involved, offering guidance both IC and OOC. Anyway, I just felt the comparison between Sandy and Davis was unfair. You can tell the difference by how populated those two areas are. Sandy is a fairly inactive area, you drive through and feel like you are crossing a Mad Max style wasteland. When, on the other hand, Davis is a way more populated zone.
  7. As you have triggered my curiosity; Would you be so kind to share the name of your faction and perhaps a link to your faction thread? Thank you.
  8. You call yourselves hostile? Ha— HAHAHAHA– Ha! *Laugh maniacally and sarcastically, with utter malice.* Every illegal character in Sandy will always be a cute meowing kitten to my eyes. I was there, when the greatest battle of all occurred. ^ NOT THERE - THERE v When the feud between two LEGAL Taxi companies led to an open war. Sabotaging each other's cabs, setting up bombs, assassinations, backstabbing. With the ultimate finale, the two leaders simultaneously taking each other out of existence. Try to beat that ^ Mr. "Sell xxx weed for xxx pesos"! Whatever you do, no matter how hard you try, remember… it was LEGAL characters that shed the most blood. Good try, but not good enough 🫡! Peace?!
  9. I would sleep the whole day and then travel back in time 24 hours to sleep again. Nothing better than some good extra sleep.
  10. Can also use /createscene You can do /createscene 30 *The car parked here, would be missing.* And that thing will disappear on its own in half an hour. Plus, it won't leave a name behind for it to be metagamed. I use that feature a lot when injured too. Cause more and more people arrive and they ask what they see.
  11. ( I posted a new reply instead of edit. Woops)
  12. It would be really nice to leave a blip behind saying the car is missing. There are many times I think my car is stolen, because it desyncs after exiting an interior and spawning on a roof. I have reported several times to check that my car is indeed stolen before I try to bring it back to the ground.
  13. SAMP NG Gaming Alice Cools I don't see many of those golden rims nowadays.
