What happens when everything that can go wrong, goes wrong. It's interesting how something that happened in real life is much more interesting and engaging than a lot of fiction created to reel people in. It's a genuine show that reveals the insanity to which people were subjected to. Soviet Union (eS eS eS eR), was something else I tell you, all the stories I've heard from my parents and grandparents are crazy but believable since nothing was sacred. They should make more shows about that time, like KGB, different countries dealing with Soviet reign and how now people are being exposed for snitching on their own neighbors, friends and even family for privilege."
  2. Damn, the script and all. Shit like this takes some effort, Kudos to you, pal. Waiting on part two of the crow man!
  3. Looks neat, keep 'em coming.
  4. There's this thing called "Faction managment team" and every faction story goes through them. Apparently they have not kept up with this issue. I assume they will take note upon reviewing new factions and keep this in mind or not it's up to them.

    GTA 6

"Don't count your chickens before they hatch." GTA V is coming close to a point where servers pop up and die within months. The only thing you can speculate is whether this community will still be around at the time of the launch for GTA 6.
  6. Make them all pay local, global, fast and slow. Rob them alll! Neat. Gl.
  7. Logically thinking news should be funded by huge amount of ads filling up the left side of your screen, but apparently that logic didn't reach all the staff teams and structures. @HaveADream Might need to post a suggestion to get this implemented.
  8. The ad selling part is mostly hindered by script that achieves to smother News RP because why would I go to second party for an ad when I have a script at my disposal. Changing this might solve another problem being retarded ads, that wouldn't be possible to be aired in any sensible outlet or ad-space. This requires a wider poll and community discussion because the ads right now are a wildfire if you ask me. There's nothing "quality-RP" about current ad spam. Also I'd look for more unconventional ways to earn extra dollar by making under the table deals when reviewing clubs or covering news about certain individuals or accidents. Approached and offered in the right way this might open a lot of opportunities for pretty great RP. Trust me this goes both for illegal and legal factions. Any type of work put in to screenshots and RP that goes unnoticed hurts to anyone and that will stay that way because of the ADHD and simple carelessness. Can't really blame people for not wanting to read stuff about topics that don't interest them. So I'd focus on people who appreciate it and use that as a motivation to improve with every step. Maybe there's a way to approach government and become partially funded that way. There should be a way to be rewarded for every click on the article, with ads woven in the articles. If approaching people who run bigger legal organizations both by IC or OOC means fails. I feel like server is quick to limit RP using the good old there isn't a script for that argument, but they struggle to help projects in similar situation like you are. That said anyone arguing that this is an IC issue is not thinking straight. Trying to make RP like this grow in gta:W without artificial help is equivalent to opening an Apple store in small Amish village and expecting profit.
  9. By the looks of it the admin who spectated the situation made an oopsie and forgot to leave a notification. You probably should PM staff management and look to resolve the situation by voiding your arrest or something along those lines. It's not like you would've got away at the time of the raid but still this shit fucks with man's roleplay. P.S God, some people are fucking stupid, the ADHD is too real can't even finish reading a sentence.
  10. The fact that this is not feast-or-famine scenario is why this player shouldn't be vindicated for. In his case he even made RP for his group. No, I wouldn't consider going to NPC rather than to driver across the whole city to Vinewood for pack of cigarettes and altercation "Powergame".Going to Vinewood cause of pack of cigarettes is what I'd consider poor portrayal of hood character. He established to his character that the said person(friend) is a local and known among residents. In the process someone else could've come along and asked about this influential friend and there you have it a chain reaction of RP delivered rather than withheld. Dynamic RP created from passive RP. In a much better environment because of the NPC RP. I'd give props to making new acquaintances this way rather than club and want to buy some drugs way.
  11. No. Maybe he RPed the NPC because there were no people working at 24/7s. Or there were in areas where this type of RP is unrealistic. People should be able to distinguish powergame from passive RP. If you can't make the difference then how did you even last this long in the server. Is it better to do some passive RP with NPCs to establish your character or to "afk" until you run in to someone? I think it's quite clear which is a better option.
  12. You're overthinking. NPCs are at the core of every characters story. Might as well ban most characters which which have stories describing life before Los Santos according to your logic. Nobody RPed your mother, nobody RPed your father, nobody RPed your teacher... but your character is here and has had those interactions and even still do. What I'm saying there's a border to which NPCs are to be RPed. If you ignore this border, you're breaking common sense rules and powergame rules and so on. You probably shouldn't RP NPCs in public spaces but calling your NPC grandma for some exposition and character development is a great idea. Don't look for problem where there isn't one. I've been called out on RPing NPCs for passive experience and in return I call those people out for driving a 200 k car without a house or a job.
