  1. Can we get pictures of the interior design of the house at all, or come and see the place for ourselves? Also, does it have some form of garage?
  2. Okay, here's a new point then, it's a video game, we're all here to have fun. Not sit and grind 24/7 just to pay fines, then grind another 24 hours and 7 days for the money back. At that point it's just a pain in the ass. Also, this is what I'd heard, or been told by those within the playerbase about the fines. I mean, carry on jumping on me about the fact I'm "trying to tell Americans how to conduct their law" though. Or better yet, any admins able to, close the thread for God sake. Since all this thread's become is an argument, a losing one on my end.
  3. How.. Professional. You're going to sit there with a support badge and make an attempt to mock someone over previous suggestions. Great way for staff to show they're unbias. Is it just me or is everyone just trying to protect the way the PD works, like how they can just give you an ungodly amount of time in jail, write out on a ticket 20,000 when the penal code states 2,000 and when asking you get told that it was a typo in the penal code. Or how the PD straight-up have full body armor, or access to an unrealistic amount of interceptors.
  4. Again, the point of this is the fact that it doesn't happen in real life, as far as I'm concerned in any country or state. I'd consider it more of an immersion break, if anything. It's funny how you instantly jump to the "Fast & Furious wannabes". Are the people who street race in real life F&F wannabes as well? Read first response to Helm.
  5. It's a pretty simple suggestion, and it's to prevent the LSPD faction from giving other players fines/tickets/citations upon their arrest, the fact it being "up to their discretion" or "Misconduct IC" is unacceptable, if you have to request to be a corrupt cop to the higher ups within the faction itself, then surely this counts as corruption. I've never heard of, or seen, a case where a police officer, in reality, has written a citation or a fine out for someone who has been charged and sent to jail. I'd also like to add that the fact that cops are allowed to fine criminal characters up to 30,000 in one sitting is also ridiculous, I understand we've an inflated economy, but new players, and those who've struggled with money ingame, be that because they have IRL stuff happening so they can't get on to work much, or otherwise, don't stand a chance in Hell with that. If a rule could be implemented on, at the very least, the police officers being unable to FINE players while they're being arrested, that would be great, simply because one, it ruins immersion, and two, completely ridiculous, if we have to serve 3-4 days + and pay citations as soon as we get our money back there'd be no point in giving the cash back if all you actually have would be 2,000 (for whatever reason) and your fines are up to 5,000.
  6. But they don't. Females and male are still in the same pod, because the SD are never on, and nobody moves anyone from their cells.
  7. That bizarre rule came from the playerbase, not the admins, or the PD/SD, it's the gangs within the prison, such as the Nazi's and the Hispanic gang that are in there 24/7. They call every female character out for being a tranny because they don't believe that a prison would have genuine females. I infact almost took a beatdown from the Mexicans inside the prison because I was talking with what they call a "tranny".
  8. What's the point in a PD faction, if there's no criminals to combat? None.
  9. I've been in many VC's where I've heard veteran criminal RP'ers complaining about this stuff, so it's funny you should say that. It's not an IC issue if I'm complaining about things that have been editted within a handling.dat file, it's an OOC issue. Most players don't speak up against this because they don't feel like they'll be listened to, which tends to be the issue nine times out of ten on most servers.
  10. My suggestion, is that you either do NOT get cited ridiculous prices whilst doing jailtime that's over 3 days, and/or the cites prices are lowered. Also, PD cruisers speed and handling should be lowered, if not both then at least one of them. No vehicle has perfect speed, nor has perfect handling, most vehicle sacrifice speed for handling and vice versa.
  11. This is my issue, you have to SLOW DOWN to take a corner properly IRL, or else you spin out. However you seem pretty intent on the fact I was also doing 130 through the corner, which isn't the case, I had to slow down to take it correctly or else the vehicle would have slowed down. I would also like to add, that you still would have a run for your money chasing a vehicle in an interceptor, especially the more higher end vehicles that are known to lose police. This scenario with the Sultan Classic wasn't MY scenario, but it was a friends issue, so I used it as an example. I am, nor will I ever be, a firm believer that this server has more things added that help PD, rather than criminals. I'm also arguing more about the issues with the fact that citations reach ridiculous prices, in which most people barely earn, and the fact that you have to do 12 days+ in jail, AND pay the citations is ridiculous, what's the point in working 3 days if I have to pay the cash back to the server after being arrested?
  12. I was messaged by the admin that closed the thread to use the proper formatting, so thanks for the concern.
  13. Short description: The PD vs Criminals RP is way too unbalanced. The PD have vehicles that can reach, and go over 140mph and take corners like it's nothing. And have a very unrealistic presence. Detailed description: The police faction on the server have a very unrealistic take upon their vehicles and power. They're very overpowered and their vehicles are very unrealistic. Police cruisers can and have reached ridiculous speeds, around 130mph, and cornered at this speed, they were able to keep up with and take down a Sultan Classic, which in reality cop cruisers can barely keep up with the real life counterpart, i.e Subaru Impreza. Not only this, you have every police officer on the server show up to petty crimes, such as a homeless man getting their hand stuck trying to shoplift. Logically this would be low priority and would have one maybe two officers answer, if they have a partner, however the entire PD responds to this. A simple traffic stop, there has been six+ cruisers stacking up on a vehicle, logically it would be two cruisers. Cops are also HUMAN's, which means they aren't ALWAYS on duty, like most of them are, they show zero emotion, and have act like a robot, hence why the playerbase in the criminal RP and the civilian RP have come to call those cops "Robocops." This term has become IC for some people, because it's that much of an issue. I would also like to add, if I am to get 45k in citations, why should I be forced to do 12 days and 20 hours in jail, and still pay the 45k? It's so punishing that I have to pay 90% of my wealth to the server, after working for over 3 days and then have to pay it right back to the server because I'm also trying to do decent criminal RP. I have contemplated quitting the server over this, and have already stopped with my donations on the server because I refuse to donate to a server that is so broken and so one sided on RP. How would your suggestion improve the server? Criminal RP can rise again, and players can genuinely have FUN rp, instead of having to lose their main characters for over two weeks and half of their wealth. The playerbase might even rise where as old players who left due to the OP police force. Additional information: If you ARE a cop and about to post a bias comment, please remember most people have footage and/or screenshots of a PD cruiser going over 130mph around a corner and perfoming exactly like a sports car would when in fact a REAL LIFE police department wouldn't have the funding for a vehicle that handles as such, nor a vehicle that can reach those kinds of speeds. I understand police are supposed to be fun, however so is the criminal aspect. Have a few "high speed" units, not every car being able to keep up with high end sports cars that have more than likely been modified to be race vehicles, like a rally car, or for street racing, or maybe even circuit racing.
