  1. I won't even go in to detail on how ignorant that is. I'll buy it for 65, let me know.
  2. With what logic do you consider it normal to offer a price ten thousand lower than the vehicle offered at a dealership stock w/ no registration? Help me understand, because I'm not understanding.

    Notes (Notepad)

For the time being, I use /addcontact for notes since it doesn't require a legitimate number.
  4. The only reason they'd prefer not only quality, but quantity (as you say, of words) is to see how fluent the person writes in English. You can't compare a job interview (and most companies will just hire anyone with a pulse) to a game who strives and seeks for competent players. Do you think it'd be easier to assume "This person can type fluent enough English and has a general understanding of role play and the server rules" by reviewing an application with less than paragraph of words/explanation and examples of each rule and term? Or to individuate each applicant from Person A who's clearly not putting in the effort compared to Person B? In my experience, it's working fine and is a sufficient enough way to see who's not putting in the effort, who's motives are probably to just come on the server and pollute it with garbage RP and break server rules compared to someone who genuinely wants to play, but also meets the standard. Without an application, and without there being high level requirements (a lot of typing) - you'd probably run in to a lot more (than there already is) people who don't even understand basic role play terms and type with broken English.

Lol @ that. But no, I've seen it happen to a couple threads now.
  6. How would that look in game though, because from just that it looks incredibly ugly and messy. I do like the concept, just not sure how exactly it would work and I'd hope it'd take awhile to understand the language otherwise the issue would still stand and people would just 'be around russians all day' and in a few hours or days, they now know and speak fluent Russian (in this case, but really any language excluding English) lmao. I really don't think it's too big of an issue and a system isn't really needed but a good system wouldn't be an idea that I'd oppose either imo. If a player has an issue, they report them and it'll get investigated from there. If it turns out they're bs'ing - they can get warned to stop and if persisted - a vacation would suffice.
  7. Are player applications stored by any chance, assuming not? If so, and a player is reported for being bi-lingual - it'd be 'easy' to go back and see if they mentioned anything about it in their character background story. It'd be a good indicator and way to differentiate between someone who is genuinely role playing a linguist and those who suddenly decide their character now knows a brand new language. I completely agree that a lot of people probably do just make things up with their character as they go, but because it's an issue doesn't mean the next person who does know the language should be punished for it or receive shit for it. If it's not included in a background story, then there should be days, weeks if not months of role play that was documented to prove so. Otherwise, I'm not really sure how else one can decide to punish a player.
  8. SSD won't fix it, that's just how the area is for likely every single person. It's nothing to do with a bad install, or it being on a hard drive. It doesn't happen in single player, which means the culprit is RAGE:MP/Server related.

    More housing

I fail to see any draw back to more houses being available to purchase? Just because there's tons that are still available, a lot of those are likely in areas people don't want to be in. It really has nothing to do with getting a perfect house right away, and not every single thing has to be super realistic nor does this have anything to do with the reason why there's not more properties available right now. Most people generally don't get a perfect house right away because the perfect house is way outside of their price range, not because it's unavailable.

There's so many other alternatives, so long as it's not a viagra venezuelan spam bot, than deleting threads.

Can certain threads stop being permanently deleted? It's actually quite annoying and I can't seem to put my finger on why admins feel the need to do so. I've seen people make suggestions or try to create discussions based around script related systems whether old or new, and when you go to refresh the page - the thread ceases to exists. If people are being civil and discussing appropriately, then there's no reason to lock or especially delete the threads. If it's that big of a deal, create a spam sub-category if that's what it takes for people to discuss or criticize. Completely deleting a thread from existence just because an admin doesn't like it seems pretty sad. For the record, it hasn't happened to me but when I'm browsing and seeing a decent discussion created by another user it seems to happen frequently. Allow people to freely discuss so long as they're mature about it, god damn. Or if they're not, make yourself appear and tell everyone to relax and if all else - lock it. Seeing threads deleted completely just hurts to see. All this does is make it so people would rather not even bother posting on the forum because who knows if an admin will just come up and "oh, DELETE" as a result.

    Feltzer

    Shame. Beautiful car.

    Feltzer

The feltzer isn't in the server (yet), is it? I can't seem to find it on the dealership thread, unless that's just not been updated.
  14. So, developing takes awhile (good development, that is) and I'm unsure if there's a team working on the game mode or if it's just one person. If it's the latter, we cannot expect consistent weekly/bi-weekly updates. This isn't a company that's got an organized team able to be working on the game day in and out, pumping out updates as I'm sure this isn't his job and how he relies solely for his income. With that being said, I do believe that bugs should be number one priority. I also believe we should be focusing on ways to make this server enjoyable to play on even when there's only for example; 15 players online. When the game mode becomes centralized around players, it's kind of pointless to play when there's a small amount of players online. Of course, RP is mainly a player dependent game type - but there can still be ways to make the game enjoyable to play when the server is past peak. This is something every server ever lacks.
