  1. GANG BRAWL IN RANCHO ENDS WITH SHOTS FIRED AND ONE DEAD David Perrino | September 25, 2020 LSPD officers stand heavily armed in the aftermath. SHOTS WERE FIRED last night on Roy Lowestein Boulevard, resulting in the death of one unidentified male. At the time of the shooting, there had been a relatively small brawl between a Hispanic and an African-American gang. We were on scene at the time and we were able to take some pictures of the violence as it took place. However, shortly after there was a sudden sound of shots being fired in multiple parts of the area. After the shooting had finished, both the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) and the Los Santos County Sheriffs Department (LSSD) responded to the scene and established a perimeter. The Los Santos Fire Department (LSFD) also attended the incident and one unidentified male was found dead at the scene. They were unfortunately pronounced dead at 01:18am. An unnamed source within the LSPD confirmed that their resources were already heavily stretched as a major incident had also occurred in Vespucci Beach at the same time, where one officer was down. Their condition has yet to be confirmed. Our source also explained that Hispanic and African-American gangs were in the middle of an ongoing territory war and the suspects responsible for the murder had likely fled to Jamestown. However, we are able to confirm that the weapon used was a 9MM pistol. Gang members spread out immediately after the shooting stops. DO YOU WANT TO HELP ME? 2. THE TURF WAR TERRIFYING SOUTH LOS SANTOS: BLOODS V CRIPS David Perrino | September 23, 2020 'The Smoke Shack', where the local Crips meet up to get high. TENSIONS ARE RISING in South Los Santos as two street gangs compete to take over a key location. However, in recent days there has been an unsettling silence that has loomed amongst residents, leaving many of them wondering what has paused the chaos. The reason these streets have been quiet is due to a simple cease fire agreement between the Bloods and Crips. Speaking from a back alley, behind Grove Street, a member of the Bloods gang; known as the Tree Top Pirus (TTP), revealed small but significant details regarding the turf war. "There has been some little agreement", the young gang member explained. They believed the recent body that was discovered in the back garden behind a house in Grove Street, was the victim of some form of retribution. "They took out one of our top dealers, so it's probably us getting back at them", they speculated. It was clear that their knowledge of the events was limited however, they explained that a well known drug dealer that held a rank within the TTP was recently murdered by the Crips gang. It appears that the conflict is based upon the fact that the two completely different street gangs were holding down territory relatively close to each other. Whilst the TTP run Forum Drive, the Crips are running Grove Street. In fact, they are even known to gather in what is called the "Smoke Shack", which can easily be found between the Grove Street circle and the gas station. We were able to speak to some residents who shared concerns regarding the gang war and how the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) were handling the matter. "The cops don't care what happens here. They just show up when there is a body, which is more often then is made out. This whole area is going to blow up before we know it", one 32 year old resident explained. To this day, the LSPD have not returned our correspondence regarding the murder that recently took place on Grove Street and we have been unable to reach a spokesperson for comment in relation to the turf war. Now the residents of South Los Santos wait in anticipation as the conflict comes to a stand still. For many years across many parts of the country, both the Bloods and Crips have been natural rivals, so it is not unreasonable to predict that this war may only be in the beginning, rather than at the end. 3. DEAD BODY FOUND IN BACK GARDEN David Perrino | September 20, 2020 Officers arrived to the property shortly after 12:30am. A DEAD BODY was found in the back garden of a house on Grove Street early this morning, just shortly after 12:30am. Officers from the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD) could be seen arriving on scene and entering the property through a gate, rather than entering the house itself. In the back alley just behind, officers could be seen through the chain linked fence, investigating the crime scene. Sergeant Brandon Vano confirmed that a 911 call had been made to emergency services, to alert them of the location of the body, which resulted in officers arriving on scene. An African-American female was detained on the scene however, they were shortly released after. One officer could be seen knocking on the front door of the house, announcing the LSPD's presence - but no one answered. Officers in the back garden, collecting evidence on the scene. Eventually, coroners arrived to collect the body. No information regarding the victim or their identity have been released and the LSPD were unable to confirm if the death is being investigated as a homicide and if the nature of the incident appears to be gang related. However, we have reached out to the LSPD for an official statement.
