  5. Short description: Increase the social walking style speed to match "normal" walking style speed. Detailed description: As stated in short description, the social walking styles are really good, but one main issue I see with them, is that they are slow, compared to "normal" walking style, causing you to run up to catch up. Commands to add: How would your suggestion improve the server? Mainly I see it as /bad's are Nr.1 selling point of donator ranks, but second in place in my option are either furniture slots or the option for social walking styles, but they have one main issue, that you walk much slower compared to "normal" walking style, and It's really annoying where you have to run up to individuals when you use "gangster" social walk style, breaking immersion. I think with this change generally people would buy more gold or plat donator to have the walking styles, being a great change for the Social walking styles.

  9. Word On The Street Vol. Two Ft. Goldie Jad McFearson Goldie With the second installment of Word On The Street, I would like to introduce you all to a very popular artist, Goldie. Goldie has recently signed with Homicidal records and is leading the way for women artists in the music industry. Goldie has some big hits such as "Spend some get some" and "Reasons." Jad: So the fans are curious, where are you from? Goldie: I'm from El Burro Heights, but I went back and forth between El Burro and North Rancho between my parent's houses growing up. Jad: Growing in that environment can't be rough; how was it growing up there? Goldie: It kind of made me grow up quick; both areas are rough, you know? The Heights no joke though, I spent most of my time growing up over there. But it helped me grow into the woman I am today, you know? Jad: How did you get into making music? Goldie: Well, to be honest, I was messing around before, but I really started to be serious when I got locked up in Y.A (Youth Authority). Jad, Goldie, Kobe and an associate Jad: Ahh, ok, so being in there made you really work on your craft? Goldie: Yeah, it really got me to where I am now, I was okay, but doing two years in there, I really got to work on my craft. Jad: What made you sign with Homicidal records? Goldie: To be honest, they gave me the best deal, and me being the only female rapper right now, I kinda get blackballed, but Homicidal didn't do me like that. Jad: Glad you mentioned that; that leads me to my next question, with you being the most prominent female artist in the game, how are you handling that? Goldie: I'm humble, you know? To me, I'm still little ol me. I'm really trying to get my neighborhoods name out there; the city forgets about the eastside. I think people forget us females got heat just like guys do. Jad: Do you believe there's a double standard in the music industry? Goldie: Yeah, I do, but at Homicidal, it isn't, we are all family female or male. I can't speak on the other labels, but you gotta think about it, I am the only female rapper. Goldie and Homicidal record owner Kobe I want to thank Goldie and Homicidal Records for allowing me to do this interview; This is Jad McFearson signing out on this second edition of Word on the Street with Goldie. Stay tuned for more exciting interviews with the biggest artists in Los Santos! VISIT OUR WEBSITE - CLICK HERE

  11. I find it absolutely hilarious because the people who complain about bad gang roleplayers are the same people who walk around with their chest out acting like a B-roll Punisher that served x years and is now a middle to upper class carbon copy of Russo. The terrible roleplay goes both ways, it really does. I don’t know if it’s been mentioned before but let me run down some facts for you some people seem to forget. The geography of the game is something everyone seems to ignore. Venice is a huge area that isn’t just nice fancy neighborhood for the rich. Vespucci is the creative recreation of that and much like the rest of Los Santos it is compressed in scale. And much like it’s real counterpart Vespucci isn’t just a rich area, and there are plenty of “bad” areas to be found. Much like the real world our Vespucci has it’s gang and street culture. A tourist trap isn’t a safeguard for robberies and muggings. Nor does being in a rich fancy neighborhood give you a cloak of protection. In fact, these neighborhoods are more often than not the target for these crimes. The only difference with real life is that the methods are often different. And they are different because of how the game works, much like real life people adapt to operate within the world they live in. A lot of people walk around Vespucci thinking they’re John Wayne making them an easy target for guns and other valuables. A lot of people also sabotage roleplay when subjected to a robbery. And with the way the rules are set up it makes sense for most people to commit high intensity and high impact robberies with violence. Because while we can argue the value of roleplay, the community isn’t like that. People are always upping each other and consideration and courtesy is the exception rather than the expectation. So you’ll be hard pressed to find these nice robbers because they cannot survive and most definitely can’t thrive in the world we have created for each other. And what you see is what you get. People point fingers left and right except at themselves. You get PF bulls talking smack to a whole gang on their turf while they have no business being there and should’ve just stayed in their little smoothie shop. The attitudes some of these people have is a creation of their own mismanagement. They’ll forget that their character exists outside of their non violent friend circle. You get a “legal” character arguing with a 16 year old doped up gangbanger and ranting like they’re about to tip the fedora. They’ll keep pushing buttons and acting wild themselves only to be completely surprised when they get their socks knocked off. You get what you give. And while I know the good and the bad of gang roleplay I also know some of the Vespucci gangs and that they’re no worse than any of the people roleplaying there. It’s a two way street, and people seem to forget that. Mutual understanding can go a long way.

  13. I mean i understand what ur tryna say bruv, but if I'm being real with you. I've been roleplaying a westside ls gang member for close to a year (well, i WAS, that char's gone now) and most of the bad roleplay I've come across has been from mallrats. They rarely rp fear of gangs, they provoke and act stupid IC and OOC cause they don't like the fact that there's a gang in that area / dont see it as realistic, when in reality it IS realistic. That could be a driving factor in why 'mallrats' and 'regular civilians' are always targeted by the gangs. Perhaps said mallrat with the 500k car and 900k home should have looked into the area he/she was moving into, before moving onto a gang controlled block. Vespucci (especially the part of Vespucci that CCB13 is at) has been rped as a run-down part of the neighborhood for a long time. I know for sure if I owned a 500k car, I wouldn't be trying to spend 900k on a house in an area where there's always been gang presence. Do I agree with the fact that gangs are targeting regular people? No. Typically gangs leave people who don't gangbang out of it, Do I think it's an IC issue, though? Also yes. I highly suggest people start approaching FM with solid evidence instead of making these threads. Regardless of what you guys think, as somebody who's led more than 2 factions on this server. FM approaches its factions when they're reported and even if you don't see it, they get spoken to. 100%.

  14. I hear where you’re coming from and I agree with you. But I also think the “it’s 2020, not the 70s/80s/90s argument is kind of played out. I wholeheartedly stand by the idea that realism is of the utmost importance in regards to making this world feel alive and real. However, at a certain point we also have to look at the “fun” aspect of the game as well. Vespucci, while based off a real location in LA, is NOT that place in regards to how the Roleplay has developed and progressed in GTAW’s Los Santos. For example, you’ve stated how IRL there’s cameras on every corner in most major American cities these days. You’re absolutely right. And that has deterred and changed the criminal underworld immensely. But our Los Santos doesn’t have that deterrent. And our gangs here have developed and evolved to survive in the world that we’ve made. And while things always need to be grounded in reality, some leeway needs to be given for how OUR world has developed through OUR Roleplay. NYC turned into the Disney World it is today because of Rudy’s broken windows crackdown in the 80’s and 90’s (among other reasons). OUR Los Santos hasn’t had that crackdown. GTAW’s Los Santos is a character being portrayed just as much as any other character. And it has developed through years of Roleplay, politics, gang warfare, and whatever else. And while we should all strive for realism, we should also realize that if our world has evolved into a crime ridden cesspool through our own Roleplay as a server, then we should let that happen while still maintaining good Roleplay standards.

  15. thats what happens when you get people that think one of the biggest tourist areas in LA is now the 90s again and time for American History X and a Venice/Vespucci rendition of Mi Vida Loca. The skatepark is a prime example. Everyone's screaming about how irl this irl that but IRL that skatepark is always packed with skaters both local and professional yet "ey foo whatchu doin around here" or "AY YOU AINT WHITE FUCK OFF" lmao, vespucci's always housed some of the worst gang/criminal rpers IMO

  16. GUIDE - HOW TO USE This guide will explain the LAW CAD system window by window, detailing all functions and what you can do with them. Click on the images to enlarge them for a better view. My Unit My Unit is the first window you see on the CAD, it contains YOUR unit information. If you edit this information, it will also update for your partner if you have any. Once you have a Callsign set, a red button will appear which will let you clear the entire callsign. If you are partnered a button will appear next to the Callsign field to leave the unit, which will remove YOU from the unit but lets your PARTNER remain on the unit. (PD ONLY) If you click the Unit Type field, it pops up an option menu, choose which type of unit you are (see PD Manual for information), this will decide where your unit shows up in the roster ordering. If you click the Status field you will be prompted on the right with pre-set statuses. Once you click one it will put it in your Status field. Clicking "Available", "Code 6" or "Code 7" will also automatically pre-set your location field. If you click the Location field it will automatically fill out the field with your current street/cross street. If you want to edit it, you just use backspace and fill out whatever you want to write. You always have to click SAVE otherwise your unit is not updated! When crashed or going off duty and back on duty, you will need to re-set yourself on the roster. Command Tips: If you use /unitstatus with status "Available", "Code 6" or "Code 7" it will also automatically run the /unitlocation command. If you use /unitlocation without filling anything out, the CAD will get your current street/cross street and use that as your location, thus if you use /unitstatus code 6, the CAD will mark you code 6 and puts your location as your current street/cross street. If you set your unit status or unit location inside a police/sheriff vehicle it will send your vehicle GPS coordinates along. * PD view, SD does not have unit type Duty Roster The duty roster is pretty self explanatory. The non-supervisory faction members will not see the four buttons on the right side of a unit. This is for supervisors only to micro-manage a unit when they cannot update their own unit status. Hovering over the units' location will display the text of the location, set by the unit. If you click the button, it will place a waypoint on your mini-map of the last known location of the unit, if there is no last known unit it will give you a warning pop-up. View unit location text: 911 Calls The 911 calls window is pretty self explanatory as well. You can see the situation and location text filled out by the called when you hover over the buttons. If you click the location button, it will place a waypoint on your mini-map of the 911 call (similar to /niners waypoint option). When you hover over the Units Responding button you will see the units that are responding to the 911 call. Next to the units button you find a R or X button. Hovering over those will explain what they do: responding to that call, or cancel responding to that call. Command Tip: Use /responding (/rs) to respond to the last 911 call that came in.

  17. OOC Info This group is not a faction, nor does it aim to become one. This thread is just to give a little information on the background of the characters whose development will be shown in this thread - low level criminals struggling to survive on the streets of Los Santos, Thread is obviously based on Jerry Capeci's Gang Land News, but adapted to the game's lore. Please note the date of the article, as it provides information that is currently outdated IC. The future of the characters whose development is being shown here is uncertain and dictated by IC events. They can join an existent faction or keep doing what they are doing without any guidance, which will certainly affect their lives and their relation to the community itself.

  18. So, right now? The prison is very dead. Even if someone is interested to provide roleplay? It's a very rare chance to get lucky and actually have some guard/deputy there to help you with it. I have been personally trying to do a visitation at the prison for the last 3 days. (Peak hours / dead hours / most of the stuff was tested) still no luck with the visitation. So, with this rule suggestion? I think we as the players should be able to perform 'NORMAL' visitation there without needing any deputy to be online and be there to watch. (No smuggling items in, just for a talk, CASUAL ONE. As everything is monitored there) This would really help the players who are interested to meet their friends in prison. I'm sure some people might think and say "No, this is wrong, it's going to be abused." For that.. This rule only applies to the people who are just interested to do 'normal' visitation at the prison to see their loved ones. For smuggling items and all other 'messy' talk, you'll need a player online there (Deputy/Guard) to do that roleplay. The NPC's deputy/guards is only for the people who are interested to do normal visitation.

  25. First of all bro, what? What you don't realize is that alot of this shit happens under faction leaders' noses lol. I had to close my previous fac because a bunch of players who were RPing with us were doing stupid shit while I was asleep, but never while I was either online or ingame. It's quite laughable that you expect faction leaders (Who are humans too) to be able to mindread an entire community and find out who's doing the wrong thing in their faction, it makes 0 sense. That's like me blaming PD's leadership because their faction has a few fucking cockheads in it. It's unfair to the highest level. And those people you have soooo much sympathy for will continue to be messed with frequently because you fail to realize that most faction leaders with their heads screwed on right wouldn't approve of what their members are doing. I legitimately kicked 2 people from my fac after I realized they were going around starting shit and otherwise not contributing shit. We're faction leaders bro, not mind readers. We can't take action against shit members without being informed of what they're doing, cause we don't see EVERYTHING. If you were a gang member in a shitty part of a neighbourhood, would you rob people living in the same shitty conditions as you, or would you prefer to rob somebody who has money? thats how gang life works, bro. If there's no competition, they claim as much as possible. CxC13 claims a chunk of Vespucci, which is an IC issue, so no. I'm not wrong.
