  1. 2010 Karin Asterope 3.5 V6 - Boredom in the Middle When the Asterope first launched in 2006 it had one goal. Karin heralded it as their “attainable luxury vehicle” to chop a slice of the market share from under the noses of the Germans. Later the Asterope built an unceremonious legacy as one of Japan’s blandest exports; you were more likely to see Vincent Rockford in public than an Asterope proudly displayed among enthusiast circles. Despite this Karin managed to sell over 400,000 units a year to the masses. How did such a car become popular? The Asterope began as the spiritual successor to the Kuruma of the 90s that represented the Japanese's steady ongoing grip on the US market. With its safe bento box-esque design the average working class suit found a spacious budget sedan that teased luxury, proved surprisingly reliable & rigid and delivered on its promise of a no-thrills, no-bullshit approach to commuting. Market values held solid until the latter years for the Asterope saw it being pushed aside by the Vapid Torrence and then cannibalized in its own class by Karin’s own revamps of both the Sultan and Kuruma. These days you can pick one up for the fraction of the cost of the a Pariah. Lisbon, Magala, Palma de Mallorca; as a rental staple the Asterope has inspired little more than despondent or indifferent vacation faces over its 6 year run. Los Santos natives recognize it best as a once-common sight trundling around the Southwestern parts of the city, skipping traffic signals and painted diamond blue. While those came with Karin’s in-house pedestrian 2.0 or 2.4 (2.5 from 2009 onwards) inline-four engines and a chance of a credit card glued to a melted Butterfinger inside the glovebox, this particular grey slab is the range-topping 3.5 V6. Attractive numbers for a Japanese lunchbox with 17-inch alloys, pedals in sporty drag and faux leather (unless you paid Karin extra cash for authentic seats). The polka-dot tie-wearing rebel who added those Euro lights was likely dragged back to the mail room before he could add too much flavor to the design. A design which at a glance can be mistaken for the Declasse Premier, the Asterope’s more flamboyant yet flimsier American cousin. Thank you Mr. Tsumaranai. Being RWD should incite fun when you take it out and push it hard, but the Asterope's soft suspension is reluctant to let it loose and enjoy itself. Instead it veers from sluggish understeer with oversteer only truly occurring past 50mph (unless you're adding erratic pulls of the handbrake). Pushing the sedate V6 up to near-100 makes it drone like a disgruntled shaver, the revs build, the engine plays chicken with the transmission, promise peaks squarely in the middle, then it’s brushing the redline and the auto box throws you up a gear. Since only the 3.5 V6 models came with a 6-speed auto you can’t even select the best performance available with ideal transmission as only the lower-spec models from 2005-2010 had the option for a 5 or 6-speed manual shifter. It’s clear that this was a car for people who aren’t interested in either cars or driving - it is to the driving experience what Maroon 5 is to music. As a car, it’s perfectly adequate. As a rental it ticked every box on the mundane list. For anybody still desperate to squeeze out any potential in an Asterope, register a post-2009 2.5 L4 as an Uber and call it a day. 3. Shout out to @Flow and the rest of the crew. Tony was my first and only real RP experience. It was a damn pleasure playing with you for over a year with the unique approaches and fun experiences. No matter how many obstacles we've had to endure, and there were way too many to be reasonable, we always came out swinging and having fun. Hope you guys take it much much further than I ever could and good luck.

  4. Short description: Force players to input a description of their body when they use /acceptdeath. Detailed description: I’d like a system for players to use acceptdeath, and be able to give a description of their body. Specific features of their body, visible injuries, possibly the cause of their death? When a player uses acceptdeath, they should get a window prompted on their screen (the new GUI every new feature has would work great), where they can input whatever details they’d like into the box, perhaps a character requirement to ensure people fill it out properly? And then you can put some text above their head, prompting them to use maybe /inspectbody which will show the description of the nearest body within a few feet of you? Commands to add: /inspect | /inspectbody | /inspectcorpse Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server?: This will provide better RP for everyone, if you’ve ever stumbled across a random body, it’s odd, as there’s no way for you to know how they died. This will allow you to give more RP to anyone that sees the body, PD detectives will have more fun being able to see a body’s state, FD can go through more treatment RP, i just think it’d work better. Additional information: I was also thinking about a suggestion like this but with the /setinjuries and /injuries command, which are super useful if you don’t know they exist! Maybe a text prompt in chat that says someone should set their injuries using /setinjuries and then amending the text above their head for people to use /damages AND /injuries on a downed player to get ALL the details. Let me know if you’d agree with that, too! Super sorry if there’s any shit in here that doesn’t make sense, 2am and I’m tired but wanted to get this out before I forgot.

  5. You don't know what you're talking about. I can say for a fact that many factions feel restricted with posting cause of metagame, if you had ever been in a situation like that, you wouldnt post a comment like that. It's almost impossible winning a report against LEO factions, even when you show evidence of MG, staff will eight out of ten times still rule it an ic issue cause there needs to be no doubt about the MG when they take decisions on those type of factions. My faction as an example were heavily restricted with their screenshots, during several periods due to us wanting to counter MG. If you have ever been targeted by those factions, using your thread as a way to fight against you, you'd understand. On topic: There should be ways for FM to check activity for factions, however the five day post rule is not enforced for a reason, the rule is old and only results in people circumventing the rule by posting poor quality screens or just random pictures/videos. I do however agree with the topic that there needs to be some way for FM to check factions activity but several factors should be taken into account, such as faction quality, amount of members and the quality of their roleplay, IRL responsibilities and other things. It should not be based on the amount of screenshots you post though, many factions regulate the posts on their thread to counter MG, as I mentioned before and to maintain a high quality view of their factions on the thread.

  8. L.S. Noire - Los Santos’ True Gangland Blog Renowned figure allegedly connected to the Philadelphia mob arrested on various counts. Adam Campbell - L.S. Noire Blog Bay City Avenue, 8th of July. Just two months ago, it was the known Philadelphia family associate Sammy Camastra found guilty for several charges including extortion & racketeering followed shortly by the long-term inductee of the Philly family - Joseph Campo who is still fighting his way through the indictments which seems to be a strong case. And here we go again. Anthony Manero, 29, who used to be one of the major leaseholders of an auto shop & garage based in the Del Perro area had his name stripped out from the lease earlier this year for legal reasons that were never disclosed. Although not a Philly native, Manero was another face that was on the radar of law-enforcement making multiple appearances in Philly this year and directly working with the bigger names such as Campo & Martorano throughout the last few months of their tenure on the West Coast. From the warrant issued by the local district attorney Mrs. Martha Sanders, Manero's residence was raided early morning last Thursday, and shortly after the figure was formally charged. He's currently facing over three counts, with sources claiming the investigation was an initiative by the Investigations Bureau of the Philly PD in coordination with the local units. Now a question waiting in the wings is how the department will try and churn out the information which they have been long waiting for. They’re certain to try and have Manero talk about his business dealings & the people he has been working with in the last few months, and question about these Philadelphia ‘vacations’ further. The figure being a part of the newer generation of the American mafia, it remains uncertain if the individual will choose to co-operate or not. It’s been an ordinary occurrence the last two decades especially with this generation having their lives in front of them and their families waiting at home, so only time can tell. Mrs. Sanders praised the extraordinary investigative work of both the bodies involved causing yet another significant hurdle in the modern organized crime trying to spread its tentacles across on the west coast.

  9. 소심 해치 Vincent Han (Han Young-Jae) was born and spent a better part of his life in Liberty City to a Conservative Korean family. He was influenced to Western culture while retaining traditional values, most likely a factor of his upbringing in Koreatown. Vincent's family was a large one, brothers and sisters plentiful to their parents. The Korean boy spent a majority of his early childhood with his family, sweeping the floors of his fathers "dojo" or advertising it around the neighborhood with flyers and word of mouth. When he wasn't working, he was studying and focusing on schoolwork, becoming a highly successful academic. His youth was far from bad, but it wasn't ideal. He wasn't given the freedoms his older siblings got, which is to be expected. Despite the large family, they lived a stable life in the lower-middle class bracket, never having enough money for anything that wasn't considered essential. His parents, Han Myung-Dae and Chung-Ae, met in Koreatown when Chung-Ae was attending her futures husbands martial art class, fascinated with his enlightened aura and knowledge of chakra. She was a stalwart practitioner of Myung-Dae's teachings, and grew very close to him, eventually marrying him and running the dojo alongside him. Myung-Dae was a charismatic man with attractive features, his silver tongue helping him in his teachings of chakra. It was a sham, but those who attended his classes believed every bit of it, his reputation a mixed bag of skilled martial artist to talent-less hack. The pair had ten children, seven boys and three girls. Vincent was the fifth male brought into the world, born during the middle of April in the year 2001. Growing up, Vincent was a bright and shy child, his personality one of kindness and sincerity. He wasn't particularly interesting, never doing anything notable in his childhood to garner a positive or negative standing with the community. He was a middle-child, along with his closest sibling, Han Dae-Jung, or the Americanized version, Kevin. As the middle siblings, they always had a natural connection, which blossomed as they aged. When adolescence struck the naturally shy Vincent, his demeanor and personality shifted with it. He developed severe social anxiety which is a major factor in his plight of being unable to talk with women. He's unrealistically obsessed with the thoughts of others, and he fears his outcast nature is a product of him being a Lesser-Han, to say the least. He had friends, plenty of ruffians and street types from Koreatown, but girls never gave him a chance, and it plunged Vincent into a hole of doubt and awkwardness. The once bright and inventive Vincent was given the undoing of his lifetime by a close friend from the neighborhood, Dong-Sun, the item in question regarded as the gateway of evil... Marijuana. Vincent indulged in the plant, spending less and less time in the studying halls and more time on the corners of Koreatown with his clique, enjoying his time with his friends getting high without a care in the world. He was tired of being in the lower-class, striving for something greater, something higher in the social and economic ladder. He never had many friends, but those he did have influenced him greatly, their likes becoming his likes. He had a infatuation with street-wear and music, especially unorthodox hip-hop and Korean rap. He listened to everything from the classics like Wu-Tang Clan and Tupac, but thoroughly enjoyed the new-age rap music from groups like MF DOOM, Shakewell, and artists similar to $uicideBoy$. He never dared to step foot into any criminal activity, despite many chances given to him by his friends in dealing drugs on the street corners. His lack of sheep mentality earned him the title of "timid" or scared, cowardice being used as a put-down for his honest heart and mind. Like all good things, this eventually came to the end, the consequence being his fathers stern decision in grounding him until he finished his senior year, which he did with a high GPA, despite his lack of drive to attend school. Vincent resented his father for his decision, and became vocal about it in one argument, the end result Vincent's current situation, homelessness. He was booted to the same streets that gave him joy, and with the little money he had, he made a phone-call to his brother who spent his days on the sunny beaches of Los Santos. After a bit of pleading and promising, he was given the chance for a fresh life, a new start. His brother, Kevin Han, paid for the ticket in advance and within two weeks Vincent stepped off the economy-class plane, eyes squinted at the bright sun, the weather almost foreign. It seemed like a fever dream, the scenery and people giving Vincent a different outlook on life. He took a deep breath and prepared to start his new life in the city of dreams, Los Santos. Unfortunately for Vincent, he didn't realize that the city was far from a dream, the inner workings and streets a desolate, dark place littered with the broken dreams of countless people, alongside those dreams the decaying corpses of those with pride.

  11. I'm very wary of opportunists trying to take over via that COO position. I understand a lot of people have a disdain for gov, but it is actually a functioning faction at it's core and was slowly but surely developing a strong foundation as it branched into other departments. Yes, there were no "politics", but there is more to municipal government RP than politics. I partook in government role-play for a year and a half, and retired from my position a week ago. There's more than meets the eye when it comes down to it, and I hope legal FM proceeds very carefully and picks someone who is level headed, patient, and someone who won't kowtow to forum drama. The COO role, previously, was an administrative role more than anything, they managed human resources, created rules for the faction, wrote legislation, and managed the varying departments. I really do hope whoever finds themselves in this position does it justice, and truly understands what the government faction is at it's core. I'd like to take a moment to remind those of you interested in gov RP, politics, and this COO position, that a house is only as strong as it's foundation, people shouldn't be jumping the gun on misc. political issues without the city functioning at a basic departmental level. It's a lot of writing, guide crafting, form filling and pencil pushing, these are all things that need to be done for that strong foundation to be set up- and for there to be fruitful role-play opportunities for the masses. Thanks for reading, good luck and I hope those of you getting into political/gov RP heed my advice. PS: Very worried that our next mayor/coo will pull up in a sports car with glow in the dark shoes, if you are reading and you have either of these, please get rid of them.

  12. The Beggining Richard Davis was born in Austin, Texas, at a ranch on the outskirts of the city. At a young age, Richard was interested in riding horses and taking care of the ranch. With his father and mother, he would often ride in the sunsets, sometimes having picnics near the lake on the ranch. From the get-go, Richard was a stubborn child, who would always want things going his way, and only his way. He was one of the smartest students at school, but he was made fun of as he lived in a ranch, working long afternoons taking care of the horses. The bullying only made him more stubborn and selfish, until he met a girl by the name Susan. She was in the same class as Richard, and live in the ranch opposite to his. After school they would hang out and take care of the horses, go on long rides, and do homework together. Susan and Richard dated all through middle school and high school, as he developed into a young cowboy, fixing his stubbornness and becoming kind. Susan and Richard both attended the University of Austin, Richard studying Finance and Accounting, with a minor in Real Estate. Everything seemed to be going fine for Richard and Susan, two lovebirds that live next to each other, attending the same university. One day coming back from lunch with Susan, Richard found the door of his house broken, glass shattered everywhere, and some casings on the front porch. Immediately he told Susan to call the police, as he ran inside the house, finding both his mom and dad dead, each with a bullet hole in their skull. He was confused, who could have done this? As he held his parents close to him, the police arrived, quickly inspecting the entire ranch. Richard followed the cops, as he found the door of the stable broken as well. As he entered, none of the horses were there, all the saddles were taken, all the family's work was gone, just like that. Family Business That day was devastating to Richard. As he kept studying hard for university, now with no income, he had to find a way to start earning money. The family business used to be raising horses, and breeding them. Now with no horses, Richard had nothing to start with. Susan's parents gifted Richard a couple of horses to get him started. He started to breed, and soon the business started to flourish. He got himself a license to purchase firearms, and bought himself a couple of revolvers. With university almost done, he decided to hire a young cowboy to help around the ranch. James took care of the horses, cleaned up the place, and most importantly, kept the place secured. Richard graduated, and quickly landed himself a job as an accountant at a local firm. He was doubtful about the decision, but the extra money was perfect. He worked really hard during the day, to come home to Susan and the horses, taking them on sunset rides, galloping through the fields. Eventually, Richard was preparing to get married, Susan was the right girl for him. After a year of working hard and earning a lot of money, Richard was able to expand the ranch, building another stable, as well as buying some high class horses from Morocco. With all the new income, Richard bought a wedding ring for Susan. He had the perfect plan. On a Sunday evening, Richard took Susan on a ride on the ranch. It was warm, summer, with a little bit of breeze, the sun coming down. They stopped under a big tree on the bed of the lake, as they sat in each other's arms, watching the water move slowly with the wind. Richard proposed to her, and without hesitating, Susan accepted the proposal. As they were planning the wedding, Richard left Susan pregnant. A couple of months passed, and they decided to host the wedding after Susan gave birth. One day, Richard was at the stable, hoofing the horses, as he heard a couple of vans approach at a fast velocity, with some trucks in the back. Richard immediately picked up his revolver, as he headed towards the house. Susan came out of the porch, asking who the men were, and before she could say anything else, one of them shot her. Richard heard the shot, sprinting towards the house, taking some shots at the men on his front porch. He hid behind a tractor, as he kept shooting them, eventually hitting one, which made them retreat. Richard rushed to the house, to find Susan and his kid lifeless. He called the police as he cried, hitting himself in the head with his fist, fired up about these men. The police came, trying to sort out what had happened, and they quickly left... Richard gave Susan a last kiss, a kiss to her lifeless body, crying over her. During the night, the same men came to the ranch, killing all of the horses, burning down the ranch. Richard woke up to an extreme heat, flames all over his room, as he ran outside of the house, to find that the house was on fire, the stables burned down, the fields with flames. He got on his knees, looked at the house, and watched it burn slowly, as thoughts of his family passed his mind.... Los Santos The weeks after the events, Richard decided to move, to go to a new life. He went to the airport, and saw the first flight was to Los Santos International Airport, as he got on the flight, leaving everything behind. He arrived to Los Santos, not knowing anyone, clueless as to what will happen. Already as he arrived, people were making fun of his cowboy outfit, of his accent. He was starting to regret moving to Los Santos. As he looked for some sort of job, he found his university friend Russell Jeffress, who recently moved to Los Santos as well. Both Russell and Richard had a ton of experience in finance and real estate, as they were enrolled in the same degrees. After giving it some thought, Richard and Russell decided to open up R&R Auction and Realty. With the spare money Richard had from Austin, they bought an office in Rancho, and quickly started working on developing the business. Richard focused on the auction side, while Russell on the real estate side. Richard quickly made friends with Yosef Maluka, who Richard called Yoska. Yoska was the one that helped everything start up. He gave up trucks and vehicles for the auction, which were quickly sold, and Richard was starting to get cash. All of this was still not enough for Richard. The Los Santos Government had an open position for Budget Analyst, and he applied for it, interviewed with Leon French and Marcus Cambridge, and finally got the position. Richard backed away a little from R&R, letting Russell take care of it, as Richard worked hard in the government. In the government Richard has met tons of bright people, including his two bosses Marcus and Leon, as well as coworkers Freya Hill and Robert Strenge. He made close friends with Lotte DeVos, who still share a close friendship.

  18. The Future of the Los Santos Government Hello, Legal Faction Management will be assuming control of the Los Santos Government. We received information from Avro last night that he and his team wished to step down from the role. The plan was to have a smooth transition until the end of July, unfortunately, we were informed today that our access to the government website which was hosted by them would be blocked and we would not be able to use this going forward. This was in direct contradiction to the terms that were originally established. The Government forums are still ours but the portal is now considered non-gtaw. We are working with the web development team on contingency plans and have been attempting to recover as much material as possible. Further announcements will follow on how this will affect players and businesses on the server. This will bring a lot of changes to the government but we will be pressing ahead with elections and these will now be organised by Legal FM. I want to thank all the employees in GOV who have chosen to remain their hard work is much appreciated and I look forward to working with them to make GOV a thriving and active faction. I hope to share more information, including an election timeline and how to apply for a political party, towards the end of this week. Please see below the IC announcement from our Governor, Robert Brandt. [STATE] Press Release #02 - Resignation of the Mayor Thank you, Notbond

  19. Personally, I'd like to see a transition to a State Government instead of a City Government. Why? A State Government can actively create policy that affects the entirety of the state. A local ordinance written by the City Council for instance only affects the inhabitants of that city, its jurisdiction does not extend beyond that. On the other hand, a State Legislature would fundamentally operate the same way a City Council does, but would discuss issues pertaining to businesses and properties, etc. throughout the entire state. The administrative division in this case would be simpler and more effective.

  23. The screenshot RP mentality is honestly a very poor one. I'd much rather in-game activity dominating the activity barrier than thread activity, as the the in-game activity stands up more against thread activity anyways... there's a reason factions need to be accepted and scripted in, because FM can check faction in-game activity bars on a bi-monthly basis. The factions that were more driven by screenshots and not over all roleplay (not to bash), tended to have less quality RP in-game behind the scenes than the factions who focused more on over all roleplay. Screenshot RP is a really bad habit that needs to be rebelled against, as in my opinion not everyone is going to want to edit screens and honestly I only screenshot roleplay when I need to... forcing people to screenshot every single thing isn't going to make anything better than it already was, in-fact it'll do quite the opposite. I like how it is at the moment, where everything stands because honestly? It feels like it's optional to be screenshot driven or activity driven via in-game, which is a nice balance to have... for those who love doing their screenshots and those who love roleplaying more than editing and edit when they want to.

  26. Importance of Money The money your character makes contributes to his living, as well as his group's success: Make money → Pay your rent → Pay your bills → Afford X → Run out of money → Make more money → Afford Y → Afford X→ Run out of money → Make more money → Afford Z → Run out of money → Can't afford what you need → Make more money → Pay X → Buy Y → Run out of money → Make more money → and so forth... Without acknowledging this aspect of your character's life, you are stripping them of an important concern, which exists in every day life. Adult characters which only hang around or engage in violence serve little purpose to their surrounding environment in the long run. If you don't make any money, at some point you will eventually become homeless, starve, and die. Regardless of the monetary value you own script wise, it's important to keep track of how much money your character would have at any one time. Your character's foundations are important. Take into consideration your character's background, where they're from, their traits, their family, their past history. Did they do good in school, did they have a rough childhood, a good childhood, what are their friends like? Is your character easily influenced? Are they lazy? You should always think about those things when you're making a character — I know this seems like a lot to consider and role play around, but if you actually stick to a character and put effort into depicting someone who talks, feels and acts real I assure you that you will enjoy your role play ten times more, coming from experience. Money Making Schemes Everyday expenses and necessities require money. Criminals earn their money from illegal activities. A law abiding character may work a nine-to-five job, whereas a criminal performs illegal activities motivated by his desire to be financially stable. This is done for their own financial benefit, or for the bigger benefit of a criminal group. Do note that criminals do work nine-to-five jobs too, however, it's legal and low pay. They're criminals at heart, they want fast money and they want to spend it in the now. Work the day job, do the dirty jobs at night — you're making two types of money, which is good for your character. Individuals linked to crime sometimes join bigger groups of similar-minded individuals. This is done to help boost their own influence, to create new connections or opportunities, and to offer additional protection. In return, those groups require their members to follow a specific line of hierarchy, rules, and behavior. Members adhere to the group's requirements, so they can participate in the organization's everyday activities. The measure of goals and organization in the group determine the group's position in the criminal underworld. If a criminal doesn't have a specific role in a group, he is on his own. Do note that criminals do work nine-to-five jobs too, but it's low, legal pay and it's not a lot a month (or bi-weekly) and your character is a criminal at heart, they want to make fast money and they want that money quick. Your character could work in the day and do the dirt at night — that is two types of money your character is making which is good, but at a risk. How you perform as a member in a criminal group, as well as how the group performs as a whole, makes the difference here. What is your character's role in the faction? Your behavior and mentality dictate this. Whether he is going to be an individual who has a purpose in his gang and environment, or he is going to just be someone who sits in front of his porch in wait for enemies he can shoot at. Whether this will be an important money-making organization, or just a group of violent individuals. If your role is just to hang around, your role does not equal to much. There are a plethora of money making schemes that you could role play your criminal character engaging in. Of an endless variety of activities, some could include: Organized Schemes Credit Card fraud: Steal or obtain credit card information or role play ATM skimming. Use this information to role play gaining access to money you can take. Prostitution: Street prostitution, brothel prostitution and escort prostitution. You have a plethora of avenues to explore with that roleplay. Use middle-men to enforce prostitutes to work, pay them well, treat them good (or treat them bad), make them make you money. Telemarketing fraud: Making calls to unknown lines and extorting personal information from them. This could be role played as a partnership or solo scheme to extort financial or non public information. Fraudulent investing scams: The Ponzi scheme is just one type of con. And, although it's based on a classic formula, the idea can be applied in countless ways to deceive unsuspecting victims. This works best when role played with a passel of others. Extortion/Bribery: Extortion is commonly practiced by organized crime groups. The actual obtainment of money or property is not required to commit the offense. Making a threat of violence which refers to a requirement of a payment of money or property to halt future violence is sufficient to commit the offense. Counterfeiting: To counterfeit means to imitate something authentic, with the intent to steal, destroy, or replace the original, for use in illegal transactions, or otherwise to deceive individuals into believing that the fake is of equal or greater value than the real thing. This can be role played by forging signatures or producing imitative currency to fraud another person. Money Laundering: This is a method of disguising the illegal origins of wealth and protecting assets, so as to avoid the suspicion of law enforcement agencies and prevent leaving a trail of incriminating evidence. Last Resort Schemes Retail of drugs/arms: If you are getting a cut, you are making money. Residential burglaries: Break into homes and steal valuable property such as consumer electronics, jewelry, money, and such. Pawn the stolen goods for money or sell them to anyone interested. Vehicle theft: Primarily done for vehicle parts. This scheme works particularly well with a chop shop car theft ring that earns money for the job you perform. Note about drug dealing: If you're going to resort to selling drugs, corner selling is completely out of date and is not representative of modern drug dealing. Texting people, knowing people, friends and friends of friends is the best way to realistically sell drugs and expand your business. You'll have consistent customers texting you and you can advertise your drug(s) via a text which makes a cool dynamic, or use FaceBrowser — that works too. Note about selling firearms: Do not sell guns like you'd sell drugs (in a casual sense). Guns will get you heavy charges and especially if you're distributing them, you'd realistically want to do it low-key. A motel room, in their house, in your car, a garage... you get the idea. Don't just roll up to someone and ask if they want to buy a gun either — that's bad and weird, definitely do not do that. You'd only sell weapons to people you trust and know aren't going to be a problem for you, someone who knows what they're buying and probably someone with who has just as much dirt.
