  1. Fallen King From A Broken Reign 24 Hours later... All good things come to an end, and so did Jack's story. It was an absolute blast playing this character, with all the ups and downs, fun and sad moments. To see what this character was when I created it and what it developed into made me have a lot of fun and enjoy every single minute I played on him. For sure, it will have a special place in my memory. Maybe this is the end of GD, maybe not, only time will tell. It was amazing roleplaying with this faction, Gravedwellers is what brought me back to RP and for that, I have to thank every single person who was part of GD or interacted with the faction or my character at some point since I joined up until this day, y'all made it a really enjoyable experience. It's sad Jack's story comes to an end but I'll keep good memories from the past months, apart from meeting a lot of great people and a lot of great roleplayers, some of which I can call friends today. Thanks for this amazing run and everyone who contributed to it one way or another; See you on the road, fellas. DFFD.

  3. Reputed Los Santos bar White Widow burnt to the ground It was a regular Friday night when civilians began to see large amounts of smoke arising from the Vespucci area. Upon closer investigation, it had actually been the reputed bar—White Widow. The fire department was quick to respond and assess the situation, beginning to put the fire out. At this moment in time, authorities have no clue on the cause of the fire. Authorities are sure that this was no coincidence or accident — it was planned, which leads authorities to believe it was an arson.

  4. -------------------------------------- MEMENTO MORI. ------------------------------------- ------ THE NEXT DAY ------ Here we are, at the end of Secretary Liam "Wings" Anderson journey of life. While it is the end of my character, it marks a new chapter for me to build another character from the ground up. Gravedwellers MC is my first faction in GTA World. The past 7 months which I've spent playing and developing Liam has been Hell of a ride. It brought me tons of fun but also downs, just like life does the same to all of us. It is saddening to see the character I've build gone forever into the void, but its memories won't be gone forever as it continues to lives on. I personally want to thank you to everyone who were involved in my character's journey of life and I hope our paths will cross again in the future whether in the same or different faction. Through GDMC, I've made new friends who are great players. -- Secretary Liam "Wings" Anderson Gravedwellers Motorcyle Club October 1992 - May 2020 D-F-F-D --

  5. The Rancho Housing Projects is an area located in the South-Eastern part of Los Santos, made up of mostly African-American and Hispanic residents. The term Grapetown was coined for the projects due to a majority of the residents during the 1950s and 1960s working at the Shackleford Grape Juice factory. With renovations in the 1980s leaving the project’s buildings purple, the nickname Grapetown remained for the projects. Originally the projects were controlled by Varrio Rancho Grape but soon after the gang split into two, the South Side Varrio Grape 13 gang and the Grapetown Crip gang which both ended up splitting the Rancho Housing Projects area. Even with a split in the area between two gangs, the two gangs claiming the Grape function worked closely side by side in their everyday hustle. Even with some internal conflict breaking out from time to time, the long term bond between the two gangs held them together as problems were resolved internally and attention was focused back on making money and keeping the Grapetown Projects as a stronghold for the two gangs. Both gangs within the Rancho Housing Projects have been credited by the Los Santos Police Department to be involved in numerous forms of criminal activity. Varying from home invasions, drug distribution, and the extortion of both legal and illegal businesses within the area. The Southside Varrio Grape 13, which operates as the Flat Lokos and Tiny Wynos cliques is known for the extortion of competitive drug dealers and collecting protection money from local businesses by using the threat of burglary against them. While the cliques earn a steady cash flow through the use of extortion, they continue to move drugs throughout the area. The Grapetown Crip cliques within the area, the Dust Town Grape Crips, and the Rancho Baby Locs; while making some income off of extortion like their Mexican-American counterparts, are more known for the distribution of narcotics and home invasions. In more recent times, the gang has been said to have a more increased interest in the illegal distribution of pharmaceuticals. This faction intends to portray the south-central gang scene whilst also attempting to emulate a realistic and plausible culture within the community. This faction wishes to cooperate with and work to enhance the experience of existing groups in order to provide a good roleplay experience for players on the server. Individuals taking part in direct roleplay with these faction characters are expected to accept the consequences of their actions, especially those that result in a legitimate CK. Portrayal remains our utmost priority and individuals will be expected to maintain a high standard of roleplay whether they're a permanent member of this faction or just a passer-by- play your character intelligently and most of all realistically and you won't have any complaints. 7. No need to attack him, he's giving his feedback and obviously as we can all read our community standards do not match what he expected, and we should be glad it did not. It is indeed not a server for softcore roleplayers : we do not allow "new roleplayers" and only experienced one basicly, we are very strict on every small aspects. We indeed cut a majority of the players of GTA from playing here and we do not allow them here, it's not a server made to become super big, it's a server made to become a strict community with an enjoyable text roleplay environment. We're all very happy to get more players since it increases our amount of roleplay, but not at the cost of quality. So your warning is true.

  8. Feature Showcase: Animation Wheel Introduction We have over 500 animations in GTA World that you can use to enchant your roleplay. Many times players have asked for some kind of favorite animations option so they can quickly navigate to their favorite animations. Thanks to @Doakes this is now possible, he made a great CEF based animation wheel which allows you to have a quick access menu for 10 animations, which you can edit by pressing the pencil icon at an animation. 9. Real | RAGE Graphics Enhancement Pack made by Real_Gabe Hey all! This is a graphics enhancement pack made originally in a multipart series of mods meant to change the way your singleplayer experience is conducted. Fortunately, the author, Real_Gabe, was kind enough to separate the mods into separate sections, and left the graphics pack in its own mod. So, with a little time, I was able to convert this mod to RageMP, allowing you to use it for this server! INTRODUCTION The mod gives off a very realistic California-esque look, with pinkish-orange sunsets and blueish-purple sunrises as well as fantastic reflections on vehicles. Nights are realistic as well, with the goal being a not so bright, yet not so dark look. Note that this mod is most likely not going to work on the Rockstar Games Launcher without some sketchy install methods. I use Steam and the mod works perfectly, so if you use Steam you should be alright. Here are some screens from testing. Note that some of these screens are victims of Steam image compression. Also some of these screens were taken in a singleplayer environment in order to showcase what certain weather types can look like. PERFORMANCE Some people that have helped test this mod for me have stated they've gotten an average of 65-70 FPS in certain areas. The lowest FPS I have ever gotten with this mod is around 32 FPS. INSTALLATION The mod is super easy to install, and has multiple different ways for you to further enhance your game, like a ReShade and new certain effects textures. I have not tested these, and they may not work, but if you want to use them, they're bundled with the mod. To install, first back-up your current update.rpf file found in your GTA: V folder. Then, replace that update.rpf with the one from the mod. TO INSTALL THE RESHADE: I feel the need to reiterate this, the ReShade has not been tested extensively and has caused performance drops for me in particular. Don't blame me or the author if the ReShade does not work for you. DOWNLOAD This is the download link to the current fixed version of the mod. If the mod is broken due to a GTA: V update, let me know and I'll fix it. http://www.mediafire.com/folder/e4m89tmc19oj7/Real RAGE V for Rage MP CREDITS AND CLOSING Cudos to Real_Gabe on gta5-mods for making this mod and mod series originally. 10. Short description: Add a new car. Detailed description: Add the Tornado Custom and Minivan Custom to GTA World, every other lowrider car is added except these two. The Tornado resembles a Chevy Bel Air which is a pretty popular lowrider car, especially in California amongst Lowrider culture. The Minivan Custom, I believe it'd just be a cool addition. Commands to add: N/A. Items to add: Cars. How would your suggestion improve the server? Add more variety to the car scene, especially for the lowrider culture car scene on GTAW. Additional information: Saying too many people are gonna buy this car and it'll be a Faction Donk v2 is invalid, as the Faction/Voodoo/Virgo/Chino custom aren't all overdone, adding this to the server would just improve the immersion for the lowrider car scene, as most people might not be aware of it... but it is pretty big, not as popular as the JDM scene on here is, but still pretty big.

  21. Where did I say having a rifle sling on your chest while driving, that is nonsensical. I get the argument and I support it, however just like illegal and civilian RPers, LEO RPers still portray vastly different characters, some of which do not follow guidelines that they should be, hence why certain people get into certain situations. My reasoning is if I'm doing something I know my character will need a rifle or shotgun for and he knows it too, why the hell wouldn't he be prepared ahead of time? Either way the removal isn't a bad idea, I'm just saying it's not as black and white as people see it and there are rules surrounding it, the question is however blatantly apparent, are people actually following these rules?

  22. Ricers can't catch a break From the SAAN News Desk On the thirteenth of April LSNN caused an uproar in their comment section by leaking information about a police observed drag race. Many people who had nothing to do with it rushed to the comment section to claim how offended they were about the fact that police officers infiltrated on an illegal street race and compromised so that everyone was safe. Preventing people from committing terrible crimes is Illegal in this state and the chief of police has taken a bold stance against this sort of crime fighting. Our reporter is no stranger to these sort of events. Back on the mainland he has covered many of these sort of unauthorized drag races, car meets and street races through the city. Here in Los Santos one of the first events he witnessed was a drift competition between a few friends in their ricer cars. Another event that just barely wasn't converted into an article was a ricer meetup where random Russians started to voice their opinion against the drag racing and started to threaten people. The police was called and the Russians were detained because of their harassment. Our reporter spoke with many of the people at these events and they confessed that they would never go to a legal drag race or stop doing what they love. The event that LSNN covered was no different. People got together at a deserted dead end road near the airport. The police got wind of it and tried to stop the people from harming no one. Instead of dispersing the people and have them do their rice things on a different location the police blocked the road to ensure people's safety. This is a tried and tested method in other big cities in US like Las Vegas. You will never have these kids stop what they are doing, however you can make sure that they don't kill anyone trying to get away from the police. The chief of police thought this was outrageous. The zero injured people and the property damage of nothing was weighing hard on his conscience so he did the only reasonable thing by punishing these police officers for what they did. There was little to no outrage when this happened. If LSNN didn't make it seem like this was the worst thing on the planet these officers would still be protecting people on the streets. 23. So, as far as I know, controllers are a grey area in the rules. I've seen a lot of people abusing the fact that controllers get an "aimlock" due to the aim assist. Seen in this video: s8eZtHtMdm.mp4 However, I know some people use a controller to drive/fly, which I consider acceptable, but my main question is: Should aim assist count as breaking a rule? Since it's a clear advantage against people who do not use it. EDIT: This is not meant as a bashing thread against the players in the topic. I really want this to be a discussion.

  24. The Varrio Harpys gang (HPS) also known as Harpys 13 or Varrio Harpys, is a predominantly Hispanic street gang operating in the area of Grove street in the Western side of South Central Los Santos city. This group of teenagers have been known to terrorize the city for years now with their turf neighborhood stretching all the way from Chamberlain’s gas station to the cul-de-sac at the end of Grove Street. For these young gangsters the gang lifestyle was their way to put food on the plate for their families. This group soon adopted to the gang-banging lifestyle in it’s fullest, taking advantage of the already increasing crime rate in the city of Los Santos to make a name for themselves. The gang’s main revenue is from the street level distribution of narcotics such as Marijuana, Cocaine, Heroin and Methamphetamine. While petty crimes make up the majority of the gang’s criminal activity, the gang is no stranger to much more serious crimes such as grand theft auto, burglary, armed robbery, small scale business racketeering, and even murder. GROVE STREET Grove street, what's often referred to as the heart of the ghetto. This neighborhood has never been a stranger to criminal activity. As a poverty stricken area, the neighborhood has always made the environment perfect for gang recruitment, targeting teenagers who lacked a sense of a larger meaning, making it one of the highest crime rate neighborhoods in the vicinity. With a wide range of crimes taking place ranging from armed theft to homicides, this area has never been the safest place to live. With the broad variety of cultures comes a wider selection of street gangs claiming the streets. Most of these gangs were Afro-American or Hispanic cliques. One of the most notorious Hispanic street gangs to ever operate in the area claimed the name The Ghetto Boyz 27th, previously known as Ghetto Boyz 13 before their feud with the Mexican Mafia which has eventually led to their fallout. “It is always someone getting shot down, or getting shot at, every night is a fight in the ghetto. You could hear bullets all night every night, police sirens all over the place, people getting arrested and bystanders scared out of their goddamn minds! I guess that’s how it goes, there’s always something going down in the ghetto.” - Grove Street resident Isabella Tineo in a Weazel News interview. Throughout the years, Grove Street has been attracting the eyes of the Police Department. With more than ten cruisers driving by on a daily basis it still wasn't enough. The young gangsters always found their own ways to slip through the cracks, creating new methods to continue their operations. These gangsters have showed little hesitation to do what they were asked to protect their groups while breaking the laws and causing trouble to spread terror all across the city on their way to "prove" themselves for which gang they belonged to. With the widespread gang activity starting from the Gas station and finishing just at the cul-de-sac, the street gangs began expanding operations into Chamberlain Hills. It was the time for the Police Department to make a move. A series of Tactical operations led by the Los Santos Police Department took place from the nineties to the early twenties, bringing most gangs defunct with the end goal of stopping many of the dangerous crime organizations from continuing operation in these neighborhoods. Despite all of the tactical operations the Los Santos Police Department has been carrying on, the gangs failed to leave the streets. On each day, teenagers in the area were still inspired to join gangs, finding their own ways to represent the gangs they grew up idolizing and pushing their shot callers agendas on the streets, and often times from inside the prison. This was the birth of a new generation of street gangsters. VARRIO HARPYS 13The roots of the Harpys can be traced back into the early 1960s when a group of teenage immigrants decided to make a name for themselves among the surrounding gangs in the area. The gang took their name from the Harpy Eagle, an animal that symbolizes power. They frequently were seen wearing baseball team Houston Astro's merchandise as the team's logo is a large H. The Harpys unwillingly shared their turf with two other small gangs who were believed to be nothing but two local football clubs under the names of The Dead End and the Wild Bunch at the time. As years passed by the Harpys became more centralized and the gang increased in size, gaining its reputation for violence. During this time the feuds between the two football teams and other football teams in the area were escalating, eventually ending with the rivalries leaving the field. Fights escalated between the two groups starting from low risk brawls, and quickly evolved into stabbings and eventually shootings. The public was quick to realize that the groups were no longer just football clubs and gang units marked both clubs down as their own gangs, noting their rivalries. As Harpys continued to grow and became stronger with each day. During this period, the feud between the two local football clubs and other clubs in the region was turning into a bloodshed, leading in the death of many members from both the Dead End and the Wild Bunch's cliques. The result was for both of the small gangs to emerge into a single, unified Harpys gang in order to strengthen themselves and beef up their numbers. Around the mid seventies, the Varrio Harpys added the number 13 to the end of their name, a representation to a gang's allegiance to the Mexican Mafia, otherwise known as La eMe. On September 6, 1980, three members of 18th Street were shot to death by members of the Harpys, giving birth to a long term war between the two sets. The constant warring consisted of a number of shootings, most of which ended in a death. The beef still stands to this day as a peace hasn't been reached between the two. By the nineties, the Harpys ruled a large part of the ghetto, dominating their turf that stretches from Grove gas station to the cul-de-sac at the end of Grove Street. The gang quickly put themselves on the map as one of the most dangerous gangs in South Central. The gang dominated the drug and weapons trade in the region as well as extorted many of the local businesses. Throughout the years, the Harpys have succeeded to terrorize and extort small businesses in their neighborhoods to put food on their table eventually forcing stores in their neighborhoods to pay taxes so heavy many of them filed bankruptcy. The Harpys were quick to take control of these small markets and stole almost all of the income for themselves. The Harpys increased trafficking and extortion led to their spot on the list of the most dangerous street gangs in South Central during that time. While the gang has continued to dominate the street level distribution of narcotics in their neighborhoods as well as keeping a tight grip on businesses with extortion, a few things set the Harpys different from their neighbors. They were surrounded by other well established street gangs and it was nearly impossible for the Harpys to expand over South Central. Instead of attempting to expand their turf the gang decided to keep a hold of it's current operations and making them as large as possible inside their own jurisdiction to bring in the profit they seeked. By the early two thousands the Los Santos Police Department announced of a widespread series of anti-gang operations all over the city in their attempt to crack down on the street gangs. On December 6, 2012, the Police Department carried out a tactical operation on Grove Street under the moniker Operation Roman Empire, a series of federal RICO indictments focused on connecting the Harpys to the Mexican Mafia. Although still the gang found ways to share it's leader's messages from inside the prison to the streets of Los Santos. The operation has eventually ended with the arrest of twenty nine (29) members of the Harpys who were convicted of multiple charges including possession of firearms, drugs, trafficking, extortion, and even murder. The successful operation led the Gang and Narcotics Division of the Police Department to further investigate the gang which eventually ended with several more arrests, bringing the gang defunct as there remained only few members on the street. Most of these members were young and unable to effectively lead the gang leading in the downfall of the Varrio Harpys. During the absence of the Harpys, Grove street has witnessed the rise of various street gangs. One of the most recent gangs to operate in the area and call Grove street their home was the Ghetto Boyz, previously known as Ghetto Boyz 13 before their feud with the Mexican Mafia. The Ghetto Boyz succeeded in keeping a tight grip on Grove neighborhood, turning into one of the most notorious gangs in the city of Los Santos. The good days were quickly cut short. There are various stories about what happened and why the beef between the Ghetto Boyz and the Mexican Mafia started but throughout all the stories only one thing is consistent, the ending. Some stories say the beef was ignited after a Camarada; An associate of the Mexican Mafia, was shot in Chamberlain during an attack which was carried on by members of the Ghetto Boyz on Tortilla Flats 13 gang. The shooting of the Camarada was said to have led into the fracture between the Ghetto Boyz and the Mexican Mafia. Even days after the attack relations were not improving. On March 6, 2020, an Associate of the Mexican Mafia was killed under mysterious circumstances, the Camarada's body was found was shot to death in a dumpster somewhere outside Los Santos' county lines and the Ghetto Boyz to blame. The Mexican Mafia was bound to retaliate. The Ghetto Boyz were greenlit, meaning they should be killed on sight. This has lead to a series of attacks carried on by multiple sets in the city against the Ghetto Boyz. As the "Boyz" were getting murdered around every corner of South Central, houses were turned into ashes. Eventually bringing Ghetto Boyz out of power. The wipe of the green-lit gang was a chance for other gangs to take over the neighborhood. A group of youths collectively began operating in the area in the aftermath of the GBZ-eMe conflict as they saw an opportunity to reignite the flame of the gang they grew up idolizing. Adam Venegas, a twenty two year-old Hispanic male who was born and raised in Grove street was one of the few Harpys gang members to survive the mass arrests which took place right after Operation Roman Empire. Venegas has noticed the lack of gang presence around the neighborhood of Grove, and saw it an opportunity to re-claim the turf for the Harpys, bringing back the traditional Varrio Harpys lifestyle to its homeland. Along with creating his own circle of influence, Venegas, with the assistance of other Harpys gang members, such as Victor "Puppet" Ordonez and Felipe "Snoozy" Robledo, have succeeded to lure the young teenagers into their lifestyle. The trio would carry operations on their own. They quickly developed and dominated the politics inside the neighborhood while keeping a tight hold of the street level distribution of narcotics such as marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and MDMA. The trio was effectively setting up new operations but with the bad was inevitable. The photograph above depicts deceased gang affiliate Felipe Robledo (left) and the current acting shot callers of Grove Street's Dead End Harpys Adam Venegas (center) and Victor Ordonez (right). March 14, 2020, local affiliate Felipe “Snoozy” Robledo’s lifeless body was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds after he deviated from his normal route home from Davis Highschool. Robledo was suspected to be buying a half ounce of cocaine when he was spotted by rival gang members who shot multiple times into the 16 year old’s figure. Robledo was declared dead when medics appeared to the scene. TODAY'S HARPYS The Harpys today are considered as one of the fastest growing street gangs in the streets of Los Santos, with multiple members securing their dominance in Grove street. Throughout the years the Harpys have been known to start feuds with other gangs in Los Santos including 18th Street and Easy Riders. Both of these rivalries turned into a long-term beef between the groups. A much smaller feud the Harpys have gotten themselves into was with street gang Sex for Money Krew, mainly due to their alliance with the 18th Street gang. Despite the Harpys gang being tied to the Mexican Mafia, the Harpys frequently beef with other Sureño cliques in South Central Los Santos like the Alley Tiny Criminals 13.

  28. The primary function of this server is roleplay above anything else, isn't it? If you have to rely on some command to generate and automatic /me for you then there's something wrong. As it stands right now, people are just hopping out and from there it's a matter of who has the better aim on the day. The way it should work is that people take in mind tactics, fear, retreat procedures. Making it so that you have to /me taking your weapon to the rack would influence that mindset positively.

  35. I think you are looking at this the wrong way. This is a heavy RP server, so rather than grinding money or chasing the best means to obtain the wealth, roleplay to your character's personality and skills. Get a job appropriate for the character, much as somebody would IRL. If they are poorly educated, dropped out of school and from a low income hood, perhaps the trash job, or working at a gas station. A drive for justice and a yearning for adventure, perhaps PD, SD, or FD? Got a dream of opening a candy store? A background in retail or computer repairs? Take a job that is appropriate for your character. Most jobs through the /startshift mechanic end up paying around the same anyway.
