Short description: There shouldn't be a magic script limitation to taking a cop car. They aren't protected by a force field irl and there have been numerous instances of cruisers being stolen, or broken into to take equipment from inside including weaponry that the officers aren't carrying. Detailed description: It's honestly pretty immersion breaking that you scriptly get hurled out of them whenever you try to break in to them or hot wire them. I don't see any reason why if it's done well and properly, that a police vehicle cannot be stolen or broken into. They generally contain equipment and even evidence that certain criminal elements might want to get their hands on. Commands to add Just remove the limitations.  Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? - Additional realism for police officers in securing their vehicles. - Means for criminals to steal evidence or police equipment. - Immersion and instances of police vehicles being stolen. - Means for criminals to obtain police radios. - Consequences for careless placement of police equipment and vehicles. Additional information: I'm aware it might be foolish to steal a police vehicle, however all criminal activities have risks and there's no reason that the law enforcement roleplayers should be protected from realism by script. Come up against situations where this made sense in the past but realism was suspended by script.

Book IV: Street Beef I've never realised how dangerous it can get around here until the first time I witnessed a gang shooting up close, it was fucking brutal and made me hope to never watch anything like it happen again. Chapter 13: Hospitalized The gang that resides in the area I live in was beefing hard with GBZ and the Flats, two Sureno sets only a few blocks away from Rancho. It was all fun and games to me at first, you know, talk all that tough gang shit but you're not so sure if you can handle the real world out there. Turns out, I wasn't ready for it yet, not at all... Back then I had no idea about the reasons these sets were beefing, I mean I did hear words out in the street about the greenlight, the hand and all that. I was posted up at night around a corner pushing Trigger's product, before one of the "big homies" approached me and told me to go home, to go inside. My arrogant and ignorant ass didn't listen, "I ain't a pussy!". The last gang shooting I had witnessed only involved 3 opps. This time I even kept my lil strap under the hoodie thinking it'd make a difference, thinking the numbers are gonna be that small again, but little did I fucking know. A whole bunch of cars pulled up north, south, alleys, everywhere. All of a sudden I hear a loud series of gunshots, first one to get dropped was a local kid attempting to face the trouble, I pull up the strap and try to dip throuh the alley then stumble upon two dudes aiming at me. My homies was right behind me so I aim the gun up, squeeze the trigger and wake up two weeks later in the fucking hospital wondering what the fuck just happened. I've had a whole lotta time to think about everything on the hospital bed. I've also noticed that nobody mentioned the strap, the cop I woke up to only asked me a few random questions, I just kept pointing at my mouth like "hmmmph!" as if I'm a fucking mute. He gave up and left eventually. After a friend picked me up from the hospital and dropped me home, I stayed in for a couple of weeks while trying to recover, even ghosted on Trigger. I wasn't able to hide in my cave for too long though, he blowed my phone up asking where I am and ended up knocking on my door. The big homies looked proud of me for taking a bullet for the block, locals heard about it too, and with all the good words Trigger slid in for me for pushing his product? This helped my rep even though I didn't ask for it. Chapter 14: Rebel I was asked a few days later by somebody that goes by the street name "Rebel" if I had a minute for a word, I followed him into the corner and I see a bunch of gang affiliated members all around me, he asked me if I'm really about this life, if I really wanted to bang that big bad Jamestown Mafia. I was young and all the risk factors pointed at the fact that me taking the wrong path is inevitable. That's the day of my initiation, the day I was jumped in. I've always respected Rebel, so did everybody else. To us he's one of the realest big homies on the block, back then I didn't really know much about him since almost all of our conversations were about business, but I did notice that he cares about the neighborhood and community, hosts parties and barbecues to unite the locals and cheer the mood up here and there. But when you look at it as an outsider, he ain't nice, not even one fucking bit, and this is coming from somebody that witnessed him gun down more than five Surenos with a draco in under two minutes. Chapter 15: Bad News Remember the attack that got me hospitalized? It wasn't the only one, the two Sureno sets attacked again a few weeks later but this time I got it worse than just a bullet. Very late at night and all of a sudden, everybody broke the night's silence with their loud barkers. As soon as the shooting stopped, everybody laid low. Next day I walk out of my crib to one of the hot spots on the block, everybody I saw was sad and depressed, if that isn't a sign of bad news I don't know what is... Worse part is? When I approached they all looked at me with their sad fucking faces, got me all worried. I look around, there's no Brycen. I've always had issues with letting things go, you do me wrong and I wont forget about it until I do something about it, it's kinda the same with what happened with Brycen. I was too young and angry to the point that I wished I could just take a couple of homeboys with me and roll by their blocks and spray the fuck out of them, but I don't have that kinda heat nor the strengh, and my arm is still paralyzed from the bullet it took. I was convinced that the right time will come one day, and it did. Book V: Snake Patience is key. Chapter 16: Marko A few weeks later, I've met this Marko guy, we became closer in a matter of days. One day I heard news that he was beat up real bad and was too scared to come back home due to death threats he recieved from my own people. I suggested we meet and talk about it, so we did. He told me why he got beat up and also told me that he was locked up only a couple of days ago. While he was locked up, he had met Sureno inmates and was asked where he's from, Jamestown... but he also told them that he isn't welcome anymore after the lethal beating he took. They gave him a name and suggested he meets that name in Chamberlain when he gets out. I still didn't let go of Brycen's death, he was my best friend. Me and Marko met in the same spot every night. He did go to Chamberlain after he was out apparently. I convinced him to sneak info out and snake on them and in return I'd fix the issues he got with the block. Chapter 17: Revenge Hit Marko got closer to two teenagers from Chamberlain, back then I had no idea who they were before he told me a few things about them, apparently they had sold him work and they knew more than they should about the life. The gang that resided in Chamberlain back then was the Tortilla Flats, they were involved in the attack that got Brycen killed. I received a text saying that Marko and the two teens are going to kick it and hit some ramps in a skatepark, the only people I trusted with this whole situation were Selena and Preacher, obviously I'm not gonna take my crazy aunt for a revenge hit so Preacher was the only choice. Preacher is the type of dude that goes to church then hits a petty lick in the alley behind it right after he gets out, me and him were tight so I wasn't worried. I was VERY nervous, though, it felt like I was about to do something that I haven't really grown enough balls for yet, but it all went smooth in the end, may God forgive us. You're not entirely wrong. In '18 and early '19 we got patrol cars torched a few times and then hard deleted from our faction because people sometimes left them (whether on purpose or by accident) in gang neighborhoods. We learned real fast to not leave any cars behind that way. On the other hand though, roleplaying of locking/unlocking cars in general is not so common on the server. I barely ever see anyone actually roleplay it other then pressing their L key. Is it really fair to ask of the legal factions to continuously perform a tedious line that adds no value to the overall roleplay situation if it's not the norm on the server?

I agree with this suggestions even though I can see it becoming troublesome for PD but thats how it is in real life, if you ditch your squad car with the engine running in an alley in chamberlain hills for five hours, yeah, it's probably getting stolen, along with everything you had inside of it. There should be no magic force field protecting cop cars. Just drive around LS for one stable night and you'll find 5-6 ditched cop cars. I think cop cars should be registered to a member of the faction when they take it out of the garage, along with all the equipment they take with them and at the end of their shift, they should HAVE too return the equipment and vehicle. Now, I believe that you should not be able to access the inventory of a cop car as easily as a regular car but to have it admin locked, that means unless you are the person that took out the vehicle from the garage, you have to request to gain access to the inventory. With the implementation of the rental restrictions, you would think they would do something about the ditched cop cars all around LS too. There is really no excuse for the amount of ditched cop cars you see on the server, it's just lazy and the fact everyone knows there is a magic force field protecting cops and their assets.

Detailed description: Okay so we all know that when cars are added to the server, a lot of the time they're of the higher end. But it would be nice to see more low-medium range cars added. So I've spent the time to look at multiple possibilities that I feel would make nice additions to the server and create more variety for players. Additional information: I know, another car thread, rather than having multiple threads maybe we could get this one locked and keep it updated, for the modders and admins to look over. I have not personally looked at each and every one of these cars in game, due to the time that this has gone up, but I'm more than happy to check them out myself, with other players or the modding team to determine whether they are of good quality.

A request system sounds like a fair compromise, though I think the argument that there are poor role players who would abuse this is a bad argument given poor role players who execute situations badly can abuse/ruin most given systems and situations on the server. Personally, I feel that PD shouldn't be exempt from the same level of risk as the rest of us. Pretty frequently see just one cruiser parked up in Chamberlain or Rancho with hood rats all over the sidewalk. Like you'd leave the car unlocked in that situation IRL. I still don't see why Law enforcement should be protected from realism by script just for the sake of "Some bad rpers would do this badly." Just my two cents. Edit: Also, like I said from the onset, the biggest part of this suggestion to me is the implications on the handling of evidence, making law enforcement handle it carefully and giving illegal a new avenue of rp in stealing evidence from scenes before it makes it back to the security of HQ.

Most of the time they were abused. They are a means to get around when you just join. People abuse the fact that they are exempted from needing a license and the list goes on. We literally did this 2 days ago. Its staying for now.

Violent conflicts were still ongoing between Sureno sets and the gang Ghettoboyz, under the orders of the Mexican Mafia, a group of affiliates was tasked with keeping the narcotics operations in Grove Street active. People were still getting shot every other day but the orders were clear, the lucrative drug operations in Grove Street was to continue as usual. Foot soldiers of La eme were tasked with keeping the drug operations as safe as possible and to extort any other entity attempting to claim a piece out of the area's illicit business.

You can't compare running a Hospital faction to the likes of LSPD, LSSD and LSFD. For such a niche community, it is very rare to find a dedicated group to effectively lead, train the newcomers, prepare the mandatory medical handbooks in accordance with the real-life techniques, yet alone do all in long-run. Once the leader(s) decide to step down, you have no choice but to assign the highest-ranked person to the acting position. You can never be confident how well the faction run by probably an inexperienced player, especially given most of the Head of Legal Factions are, also, uninterested with the medical role-play, thus not able to fill the empty shoes. For a server missioning realism as their top priority, doctors' presence is ultimately vital. I had a brief chat with an old friend from FD, who confirms most of the medical calls center around GSW. A paramedic can provide primary aid (BLS) or further (ILS, ALS) and transport, but cannot stich a wound, extract a bullet from a person's body nor offer P2P interaction in Intensive Care Unit for those interested in detailed RP — where doctors' duties come into play. The suggestion is great, however you can't do much on your own as a Doctor except showing off your title in your friend group. You must have active Clinics; laboratories, ERs to obtain the most efficient solution. I assume the current procedure for FD is to NPC once transported to hospital when in reality it can be to any open Medical Clinic with providing an active Trauma Surgeon an opportunity to role-play an operation. It's win-win for both parties; all you have to do is to make Clinics public, let them be supported by GOV (access to /dep and funds), have a private/trusted leader and ask for availability via departmental. Instead of witnessing leaders burn down from heavy responsibilities, make it player-friendly while offering a decent payment from GOV.

Mainly in this server everything tends to be filtered so people don't get offended OOCly by IC things. So per say any Extremist faction(racist, religious etc) will offend the snowflakes and risk them not playing in the server. You get the idea. In Samp everyone wanted to be CJ, in GTA V everyone wants to be Michaels wife, but lesbian.
