  1. Over recent years, prominent Facebrowser groups and other social media embarked have been serving as a major influencer for the street-racing community. Every stunt, flex, skid mark, brake screech and the screaming whistle of a turbocharged engine presented records a significant increase in the street-racing population. Social media platforms expand the proximity of the population from as far away as Vinewood Hills and Grapeseed, earning reputation and popularity among other enthusiasts. Challenges being spewed across regional rivalries on being more aggressive, inclining to perform dangerous stunts or turn aggressive and reckless. As awareness is peaked, the larger the growing community of an online street-racing influencing group, the more feasible it is to involve a greater crowd sharing equal interests. (Los Angeles Times, 2020) As darkness canvas the streets of San Andreas, two headlamps of each machine shine through to sleepless night. Cars lining up two at a time preparing to embark on an adrenaline-filled rush over a bet at stake, killing the night’s sleep by taunting with the heavy roaring of the engines and the sounds of people chanting through the night until the cry of “Cops!” is echoed through the vocals of each individual. Anxiously kicking everyone in motion to mount into their cars and leaving the scarred skid marks behind. The night isn’t dead as everyone cautiously waits for the alert on their social media account with the updated location of the next gathering unless the scene had been compromised to which they are prompted to call it a night. A man would be at the back of a fleeing vehicle, typing on their phone to enlighten every one of the statuses. Revealing the next location, having most of the racers and influencers reassembled. “The more outrageous the acts that are captured on these videos, the more notoriety that they get,” “A lot of these individuals will try to get themselves stopped for something very minor so they can air it ... just to add to their fan base.” “They just have one guy who is the organizer and he’s followed by a bunch of people and he’ll post, ‘Hey, next spot is at this street, be quick about it,’” “Anyone can be an organizer as long as you’ve got enough followers,” “The problems are the ones on Facebrowser where they invite everyone and their mother and their mother’s friends,” “It just hypes up the other groups to come out more often and kind of show that this is how we do it here in L.S.,” Quotes are taken from: Los Angeles Times. (2020). Must-Reads: In L.A.'s street-racing scene, 'likes' and followers can be just as important as engines and tires.

  10. Full Name: Yoshikazu Nakamura Aliases: Kazu, Lil K Age: 22 Backstory: Yoshikazu Nakamura was born on the 19th of March 1998 to his parents Japanese-born immigrant Haru Nakamura and Second-Generation Korean Bak Jin-Ae (later Nakamura). Growing up in a predominantly Japanese ran household in the low-income residential housing facility on Magellan Avenu his father would beat his mother daily trying to make her a stay-at-home woman like an ordinary Japanese household would have. Seeing this Yoshikazu would seek protection and care from the locals around the neighborhood, but what he did not know was that the people he hung with were known affiliates of Asian Boyz a gang familiar to the area. During his teenage years, Yoshikazu would be involved with; Grand Theft Auto, Shootings and Beatings done on rivals but mostly other locals of the community who didn't show the respect he and other members of the gang demanded. When Yoshikazu made the age of fourteen his mother would then divorced his father and move back to the southern Little Seoul (K-Town) which Yoshikazu was sad about. He didn't speak the language many of the locals spoke. He was made fun of by the people living in the same apartment building as himself. Even the Mexicans poked fun at him, but after a year or two it would finally calm down and Yoshikazu would grow into the role of an Asian interracial divided between Japanese and Korean customs. His grandmother Jang-mi Jin-Ae would make sure that he studied the Korean language and culture so that he wouldn't be bullied by the other kids for not knowing the language. At the age of sixteen, he was arrested driving a stolen Emperor which landed him in the Juvenile detention facility of San Andreas for two years, by the time he came out the majority of his ''homies'' had been arrested or worst. Sooner or later Yoshikazu would find himself all alone once again.

  11. This NOT a suggestion to remove PKs, I am just going to state my opinion and I would love others to give theirs. I believe PKs should not be a thing, they always feel really awkward, and can really ruin roleplay. Only being able to CK upon dying would also make people actually fear their character getting killed and would, in turn, lead to a lot less of people acting as if they are invincible. I won't delve further into it than that. Discuss it freely down below, and please do not turn this thread into some sort of shaming contest, if you're going to make an example of an instance, don't include the person's name, this is not a witch hunt.

  14. Yeah this was just some brainstorming, I didn't think of every small detail and it's up to everyone to mold the idea into something we can work with. My intention was to promote more realism, more RP jobs and more RP in the countryside.

  18. Some old shit, slow-gathering a mix of clips to make some new mashups soon. More primarily in-server shit too since we're all a lot more active w this. (most of these videos were just recreating old rp scenes in the editor for quality's sake, for any sticklers worried about it)

  23. As a general rule, in my opinion, I would recommend you keep your text concise and to the point. Longer sentences can often become cumbersome and unwieldy. This not only disrupts the flow of role-play — because longer messages take longer to produce — but it also creates communication difficulties. Avoiding verbose replies will maintain the flow of role-play, avoid confusion and make for more enjoyable reading. Once you create a long, convoluted message, it is then left on the other player to dissect what you have said, how you have said it nd what you are trying to convey — creating a long message makes the other player have so sit there and pause the role play to reply to your message, which in-turn creates a very long, awkward pause and as said above, disrupts the flow of the scene. I'm not opposed to upping it slightly, but five hundred words are not needed and instead, initiate creative writing and put effort into small doses of text, rather than a long, drawn out paragraph.

  24. The difference between medium and heavy roleplay is rarely the length of a /me. Detail is good in some cases, useless in most. I can write a 1200 character /me describing my character taking a breath, but it's unnecessary. I myself am guilty of unnecessary detail in some cases, but the current system doesn't make it any harder. I see no need for this, it's a no from me.
