  4. This topic will follow the life of Kearia Smith, an aspiring attorney. Kearia Smith is a 29-year-old African American female from Southern Los Santos, San Andreas. Kearia grew up around the Davis / Strawberry area, attending Davis High School. Kearia graduated from Davis High School 12 years ago, in 2008. Kearia was 16 when she graduated. Kearia attended THE University of Illinois for Pre Law before transferring to Ohio State University to study Law. Kearia graduated from Law School a year ago, in May of 2019. She took an entire 7 months to study for the BAR Exam. Kearia underwent the BAR Exam two weeks ago and got her certification to practice law two days ago. Kearia has prided herself, her entire life, on being the best that she can at everything that she puts her mind too. She is a strong believer in the Black Lives Matter movement and a believes that White Superimisists have no place in Los Santos, or anywhere in the United States of America, for that matter. Kearia is currently working to become a well-known Attorney and will do anything she can to go down in history as one of the greatest. Kearia's second night as a BAR certified Attorney was interesting. She encountered possible clients in Davis / Strawberry and then got into a situation that turned out be, what she believed, as her first Civil case. She was wrong, though. A simple Internal Affairs email would suffice. For a while, Kearia struggled after receiving her license. She was constantly having to buy renter cars and she once had to borrow money from a stranger, at the middle of the Airport. She always believed that times would get better. It was a test of faith. And faith is what got her to be excited about being a certified Lawyer. She had finally received a break, after advertising herself over the ad center's notifier. A club owner called her to see if she wanted to represent his club, as their official Attorney. She was excited. She had planned to meet the owner, the same day. Kearia met with the club owner and they spoke. The owner agreed to Kearia's demands and he became an official client. Kearia spent the entire night drafting a contract and ensuring that all legal inquiries regarding the contract was handled. The next day she hits it hard. She begins to advertise her knowledge of law and her certification to be a certified attorney. Someone calls her and asks her to represent them. She knows that she's on the road to becoming a well known attorney. "This will be an interesting case." She thought to herself. Kearia spends the entire night and following day drafting petetions and preparing for Traffic Court. She calls her client multiple times to ensure that all of the documents are accurate and that everything matches up. She excites herself about her first ever time defending a person in any type of court system. Even though she had a case to work on, the grind didn't stop. She began to advertise herself - and her BAR certification - and began to attract more people. She ended up renting a office that also came with a living quarters. Her life was changing. She enjoyed sleeping in her first apartment to herself - butt naked. Her satisfaction didn't last long -- she went out the next day to gather some items and came back to find out that she was evicted illegally - due to the landlord needing the spot for his cousins. She got irritated quickly and decided to prepare to gather documents to sue for illegal eviction, civil case. The grind didn't stop though. She continued to meet with her clients and ensure that they were good.

  5. Short description: Currently when you're released from County Jail you teleport to Mission Row PD. This should be changed to outside of the County Jail to make for more realistic roleplay scenarios. Commands to add: N/A Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? 12. The one thing I've always said about RPing something like a military character is "You don't have to have every single detail down pat. Because unless you were in, you're gonna miss something. But you should at least be in the ballpark." And by that, I mean not being a specialist for 18 years or being 19 years old on SEAL team six. And also knowing common military acronyms and having a good grasp on what and where you character was at various points in their service is always a good idea. Don't be the first woman Marine Force Recon Corpsman or Navy Seal, or a 101st Screamin' Eagle Door Kicker since 2013 when women weren't in infantry school until 2017. Translating that into PD? It would be different, but a similar lifestyle. The character would, in theory, be able to adapt pretty easily to it, depending on what his MOS was. If he was in the infantry or something like that? Yeah sure. If he was a clerk? Maybe not so much. And also, under no circumstances does it really make sense for you Navy Marine Force Recon SEAL Ranger boi to leave all that behind to become a local cop. It's the same thing as a doctor up and deciding to take a 90% pay cut and not use 95% of their medical knowledge they spent a decade in school for, to become an EMT. It's all small detail stuff that can do one of two things. Make a character pop or absolutely torpedo them.

  13. Hello, yes we welcome all sorts of Roleplay & character development regarding your characters but for people to RP a specific routes for their character, they should at least understand and know a bit about what they're actually doing. Yes we do question, quiz and judge from and IC and OOC perspective on how you portray your character (Making sure it's done correctly and by the rules) and if you cannot obviously full fill your character's expectations or the Departments then you cannot progress. We encourage massively on roleplay development and progression for people in the department but please do not believe you will get into the Department, a division or a Platoon within the LSPD because you have IC or OOC "previous/similar" past experience. We aim to be as fair as possible and give everyone a chance.

  19. Much like someone else pointed out in this thread, you will need to know what files it replaces, and re-archive those files using archivefix, and replace the original game files with it

  20. I'd vouch for a well-functioning community center over a high-school, as it caters to every civilian within these lower-income neighborhoods.

  21. Situational imo. I always try to stay logged in after BUT, I have a child, I live in a place prone to thunderstorms, I work and sleep. Not all crimes are preplanned. I think this falls under common courtesy ruling.

  24. Crime roleplay is well and thriving, you just have to distance yourself from those who you consider the "problem". There are many good potential spots in LS where you can set up. ❤️
