This is a nice idea, however I suggest actually researching the topic farther rather than just going on Wikipedia as most of their sources are not liable.

Feature Showcase - Los Santos County Sheriff & Jail Showcase Overview The Los Santos County Sheriff's Department faction, in conjunction with the DoJ, LSPD, Faction Management Team & Mapper Team are proud to announce a rejuvenation of the server's Criminal Justice dynamic with both criminals & Law Enforcement alike. The upcoming update brings forth a host of new changes regarding the Judicial System & Law Enforcement process. Criminal roleplayers within the server will now face physical penalties for their actions, as well as pre-trial detention depending on particular circumstances. Law Enforcement Officers will now have to in-process arrestees at the newly-mapped Los Santos County Jail, operated by the Sheriff's Department. Commands /releaseme - Exit the jail permanently after your time is up /jailtime - Check how long remains before you can be free'd /jrequest - Request a deputy if any is available, offline guards will be notified on Discord through an IC notification channel /cellinfo - Prints information about the cell /jevent - Report an event to the guards, for example : /jevent You would notice a body left in a blood pool in front of cell A001. The circumstances of the jail allow for criminal gangs to manifest within the incarceration system, as sentenced inmates will be assigned to the jail to interact with pre-trial detainees. Features in development include: Bond System - allowing inmates to place surety/collateral to bonding companies in exchange for release from the county jail, on grounds they may loose assets or finances if they do not show up for court. Commissary / 'Books' - this serves as a means of both sustenance and institutional currency for inmates within the county jail. [In development] Weapon features - inmates are able to fashion weapons from items they find or create, to include shanks. Booking - inmates will have their arrest record & incarceration status on-file with server Law Enforcement entities. Conviction / Sentencing - inmates facing sentences may be assigned to the county jail for long durations of time. 'Prison Gangs' - long term inmates may be able to create gangs 'within the walls'. NAZI LOWRIDERS Don't slip, don't slide, Nazi Lowride HISTORY The NLR was founded in the late 1970's by John Stinson, a White supremacist, while he was an inmate in a San Andreas Youth Authority prison. A small number of Latinos were allowed to join, and they were put on the front lines in the gang's drug trafficking both inside and outside prison. In recent years, the NLR has spread from the San Andreas Youth Authority into the adult prisons of San Andreas and several other States. All members must be loyal to the White race and subscribe to an ideology of hate, especially against Blacks and "race traitors." Although experts report that most NLR crimes outside of prison are related to the drug trade, NLR members have been involved in some of the most disturbing hate crimes in San Andreas, including the kidnapping and murder of a bisexual man, a near-fatal hammer attack on an African-American, and a baseball-bat attack on a Black youth. In recent years, the NLR has faced the same countermeasures as the declining Aryan Brotherhood; the NLR has been declared a prison gang, which warrants the segregation of gang members while they are in prison. This strategy, along with the 2003 convictions of several NLR leaders, has led the NLR to make alliances with a smaller, less well-known group, namely, Public Enemy Number One (PENI). PENI and the NLR have worked with the Aryan Brotherhood in various combinations in the drug trade. Structure In prison, the Nazi Lowriders have a three-tier hierarchy system consisting of senior members, validated members, and associates. The seniors typically lead the gang. For senior status, gang members must have been active for at least five years and been elected by at least three other senior members. Below them are juniors, who cannot themselves induct new members but can attempt to recruit potentials. Kids usually come from gangs like Public Enemy No.1, and the senior member who inducts them becomes their mentor. On the streets, the organization structure is not so clear, and appears to be more loosely connected. Gang members may have tattoos and other body art depicting swastikas and SS sigrunes, although members are not necessarily required to bear them. A tattoo of the letters NLR (the acronym for "Nazi Lowriders") commonly appears on members' stomachs, backs or necks. Other popular tattoos include "Nazi Low Riders" written in Blackletter or the runic alphabet. The logo of the NLR is a skeletal eagle holding a Nazi swastika, with the letters of the group based on the Reichsadler symbol. According to the SPLC, despite the NLR's avowed racism, they seem to accept their members having latina wives and girlfriends. In fact, much of the NLR's upper echelon is composed of Hispanics. Due to their extreme underground ties with other hardcore, racial organizations (such as Combat 18 or Blood and Honour), experts say, "You must be at least half white blood but no black blood," meaning accepted Latino members must be only of Spanish descent, or be at least half Caucasian. All must show loyalty to the white race and subscribe to an ideology of hatred, especially against blacks and "race traitors." THE OATH MEMBERSHIP Latinos not only boosted the size of the group, they also did much of the dirty work, trafficking drugs like highly addictive methamphetamines inside and outside of prison. In recent years, the NLR has spread from the California Youth Authority into the adult prison populations of California and several other states. Today, experts estimate that it has 1,000 active members, most of them behind bars in San Andreas, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Illinois and Florida. Members are primarily recruited in juvenile and adult prison facilities while in their teens and early twenties. Despite the NLR's avowed racism, Latino last names and Latino wives and girlfriends are OK, but, experts say, members are supposed to be at least half Caucasian. All must show loyalty to the white race and subscribe to an ideology of hatred, especially against blacks and "race traitors." NLR members have been behind some of the most disturbing hate crimes in California. Last April, NLR members were charged with the kidnapping and murder of a bisexual man in Paleto Bay, in 1999, two Lancaster NLR members attacked an African-American Wal-Mart employee with a hammer, nearly killing him. Years earlier, in the same town, another member used a baseball bat to savagely beat a black teenager on the street. And in 1995, teenage NLR members, also in Lancaster, beat a homeless man to death behind a McDonald's. During 1999, police in Sandy Shores, San Andreas, a city that had been particularly hard hit by NLR crimes, realized that they could not fight the gang alone and created the multi-agency Nazi Low Rider Task Force. The team gathered intelligence, pinpointed strongholds, and tracked down NLR fugitives with the help of the FIB, ATF, state Department of Corrections and other local police departments. Ultimately, the task force generated more than 200 arrests on state charges and 13 arrests on federal charges, sending many remaining gang members underground. The charges ranged from drug trafficking to witness tampering and murder, and in 2003, after four years of investigation, indictments were finally handed down against several NLR leaders for alleged violations of RICO, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, a law designed to attack the Mafia and organized crime generally. "We effectively took the legs out from under this organization," says McBride. "Did we wipe them out completely? No — that's not realistic." WORKING FOR THE ARYANS Experts are quick to point out that most NLR crimes that occur outside prison walls are related to the drug trade and that members operate more like a criminal enterprise than an ideologically motivated hate group. "Ninety-nine percent of crimes are done for the benefit of the gang," says Corporal David McBride of the Ontario police department. "Very seldom will we see a race-based crime by the NLR. Members do their crimes at night, using dope to keep going." According to Walter Bouman, a hate crime and domestic terrorism expert (see also Education & Extremism), NLR members often can be identified by their tattoos, ranging from the letters NLR in Old English script to symbols like the swastika and "SS" lightning bolts. Many have the letters "NLR" tattooed in their eyebrow or on their neck. But there are no strict rules regarding tattoos. Devil horns, demons and Nordic runes are just as likely as more obviously Nazi-related tattoos. NLR members, experts say, are remarkable for their propensity for violence — a propensity that has resulted numerous crimes, especially in California's small desert communities. That, and their talents as drug dealers both on the street and in the prisons and juvenile facilities, brought them attention from older, more serious criminals — leaders of the Aryan Brotherhood (AB), the largest, most serious and most violent white supremacist prison gang in the nation. Officials with the San Andreas Department of Corrections were actively seeking to break up AB, isolating the majority of its incarcerated members in segregation. This lockdown, made possible by AB's official designation as a prison gang, made it difficult for AB members to transact their business, which often involved major drug deals. Experts say that NLR founder Stinson sought an alliance with the AB around this time. The result was that the NLR, which had not yet been declared a prison gang, began carrying out the AB's drug business as junior partners. In this relationship, the older, more frightening leaders of the AB called the shots — even as they were theoretically isolated from other inmates. AB leaders, for instance, instructed their NLR errand-boys not to get into drug debt to members of other races. Most drug profits were funnelled back to the AB. Aside benefit was that the members of AB, who are supposed to refrain from drug use as part of their white supremacist ideology, were able to avoid direct contact with the drug world. OOC INFORMATION This isn't a "faction" per say, but rather a branch under The White Car that operates as a street arm of the AB and other factions. We are not actively taking in members, we are rather taking experienced people in our type of roleplay. This is not a street gang. We are merely an enforcement arm for the other factions within the White Pride community.

Short description: TL;DR: Mechanics are making way too much money to be realistic in any way. Detailed description: One of my characters has been a mechanic for quite some time and my characters do know some ICly. Some mechanics are earning between 30-80 grand a shift, which is far, very far, from realistic. This should be cut down by a zero, down to 3-8k an hour. Instead of giving a cut of the parts someone's buying to the mechanic, a big part of said money should be going to buying the said car parts, as the garage needs to buy them too and doesn't just have an infinite stock of high-value aftermarket parts for supercars and so on. I'm sure this will cause a lot of crying, but it's not realistic for a mechanic to become a millionaire in a few shifts, it's very, very far from that. Nah but seriously, they do and should have the right to want realistic background stories & to turn unrealistic characters away. They're a faction like all of the other factions on the server. They want quality roleplayers who know what they're portraying so that this doesn't become like 2013 era LSPD on LSRP with a fucking british chief of police and a fleet of cheetahs for when they cant catch somebody.

Use the term however you want to interoperate it, doesn't matter to me. Truth is though that the origin of the term came from LSRP and I was among the group of people who originally began using it. It was quite literally always a term used to insult other players for their rp abilities, because when you call someone a mallrat, you're basically saying that that person belongs at the mall among all the other shit roleplayers. The term on most roleplay servers like LSRP is quite openly malicious and is generally a term that's used as an OOC insult and degrade players whilst disguised as an IC insult. Please don't use the word IC especially if ur character's in a gang or criminal organisation. I've never seen an MS13 member with face tattoos turn around and call someone a mallrat, it just doesn't happen, but it happens on roleplay servers.. Ik the word gym rat & mall rat are used IRL, but they have different meanings and they're used completely differently & is quite generally not much of an insult in real life. The above is literally what the term mallrat means on RP servers.
