  1. Short description: Alter the commands for turning your radio ON and OFF Detailed description: N/A Commands to add: /ron / /roff Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? It's just easier for those who rp turning their radio off and/or keeping it on, I think it'd be beneficial for those who do turn it off (and wish to keep it) because it'll reduce the /r text coming through. It's a small adjustment, togglable feature that I don't think would hurt anyone. Additional information: (I am aware of the current commands I just think the shorter the easier)

  5. Archdiocese of San Andreas HISTORY Catholics believe that our Lord Jesus Christ founded the Catholic Church in the year 33. Jesus appointed the apostle Peter as the first vicar or pope. Matthew 16:18-19 are the scriptural references Catholics give to support this. "And I say unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the Kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shalt be loosed in heaven." The Archdiocese of San Andreas looks over both areas of Los Santos and Blaine County and all the parishes that may arise. CURRENT PARISHES St. Pius Catholic Church - Pre-Vatican II Located in Rockford Hills STRUCTURE The Archdiocese of San Andreas is unique in the fact of not being overseen by a Archbishop, but it is in fact overseen a Cardinal. Mass can be led by Priests or the Cardinal, it just depends on the scheduling. All should be looked up to but the Cardinal reigns over in the Vicar totem pole. The Current Cardinal of the Archdiocese is Cardinal Erico Di Stefano, Born in Salerno Italy in 1965, was assigned the Archdiocese in 2019. SCHEDULE: Baptisms are given through request and appointment, Confirmations will be announced when the Cardinal will be around as the head of the Archdiocese is in charge of confirming members. Sunday Mass occurs at 8 PM EST Other Holy Days and Feast Days will be by announcement. JOINING All Catholics are allowed to attend, we also welcome converts. Although they will need to go through the series of sacraments to receive communion then become confirmed. We would like to keep track of our members of the church to keep a head count on who's at each parish and total members. So we request for you to fill out this form and send it to [email protected] (( @Macsimusx)) Name: Age: Attend Which Parish(s)? : Baptized? : Confirmed? : ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PRIESTS TO ORDAIN OR FOR DEACONS TO ASSIST IN MASS. (OOC Information) This is a religious faction and I will take this seriously, I would love for people to be involved and check out a mass in game or something, but if this could offend you I would advise to stay away.

  9. Name: J.M. Comment: The article is nice. I love the pictures. I think the car culture in LS is mostly based on JDM riced out vehicles built with simple Ebay parts. I've met some true car people in LS, but most people don't seem to have a true passion for cars at all. I've seen supercars racing through LS, giving supercar owners, in general, a bad name. There's a group on FaceBrowser called the San Andreas Oldtimer association for people who want to share their passion for older vehicles. https://face.gta.world/Oldtimer

  11. It seems like you're talking about only 1 situation of posse mafia or w/e they're. It's immersive and the way they talk IRL. If you can't understand it's on you. You wouldn't understand them IRL as well then. As for /me's, I'm yet to see slang being used in them.

  12. The suggestion is good, however, certain limitations should be in place, otherwise, we'll have players with 50 car keys in their pocket. The owner may only give away one or two keys per vehicle. (They usually come with one spare IRL.) A person may have on them only a few vehicle keys (the max amount should be discussed?). This means that you may receive only a few keys for vehicles and unless they become actual inventory items, then you should be limited to a specific amount of keys that you may have.

  14. This ^ It's just like LS-RP, there are so many players from different backgrounds with different approaches to their roleplay (or lack thereof). For some roleplaying crime is this constant turmoil and drama for their character's existence, and the shit they get into defines how they move forward as a person. For others it's just logging on to fuck shit up, laughing their ass off in discord pretending to be gangbangers IRL, and logging off after about an hour. Both are put in the same boat however. People who don't engage with that roleplay only recall the negative experiences. And the experiences they do have with others they recall as "civilian roleplay". The terms are stupid and it creates an unequal separation that doesn't really exist the way it's described. People think in singular labels, a criminal must be a gangbanger from Strawberry and a civilian a rich guy from Vinewood. The people who occupy themselves with these types of labels are the same people who'll end up giving you a headache after you roleplay with them. The way I see it? Leave it up to the official factions, they should lock down their roleplay domain and report any mischief to the admins. That way factions don't only regulate themselves, but their surrounding area as well. Factions are going to attract all sorts of players, and illegal factions tend to attract the worst. I'd argue they're the gatekeepers, since a lot of people get caught on account of their roleplay after they start messing with a faction. The people who can't roleplay, or do stupid shit will get caught eventually anyway. Dismiss the people who are stuck up about how they label your roleplay, make sure you enjoy what you do and stop giving a shit about what others think. As long as you're not breaking the rules, and you actually have a character to back up your roleplay with, you should be allowed to explore whatever you want to explore be it legal or illegal. 90% of these arguments are just people trying to find validation that they're a good roleplayer, throwing around anecdotal points playing themselves off as the oracle of roleplay. Just find something you like to do, and be good at it.

  21. By: Anthony BoyceDate: 19/12/2019 Hispanic gangs in the City of Santos, San Andreas – El Burro Heights area Situated just east of the Los Santos canals, El Burro Heights has long been a gateway for newcomers to the city. From the 1920s to the 1950s it was Los Santos’ most heterogenous neighborhood, serving as home to large concentrations of Jews, Mexicans, and Japanese Americans, as well as Russian Molokans, African Americans, and people of Armenian, Italian, and Chinese descent. Today the neighborhood is primarily Latino, and it continues to serve as a port-of-entry for a number of the city’s immigrant groups. The nearly 100-year old Jewish synagogue, El Rancho Boulevard Synagogue is also known as the Congregation Talmud Torah of Los Santos still sits on El Rancho Boulevard in El Burro Heights. Although it is currently not open, the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. This community was the heart of Jewish life during the starting in the 1920s but decades later the Jewish community moved northwest into Mirror Park. Much of the Jewish history in El Burro Heights has been preserved, but in 1994, the Los Santos City Council and the County Board of Supervisors changed the name of Brooklyn Avenue, previously the center of Jewish culture and life, to César Chávez Avenue. One of that last Jewish owned businesses in the area was RON gas station, a gas station at 2306 El Rancho Avenue. The Zellman family opened their gas station in 192, but they continued operating the gas station years after Jewish flight, serving the Hispanic community until 1999. The gangs in El Burro Heights identify with East Los Santos (East LOS / ELS) but the jurisdiction of East Los Santos is east of Indiana which is unincorporated Los Santos County policed by the Los Santos County Sheriff’s department, and El Burro Heights is in the City of Los Santos, policed by the Hollenbeck Department of the Los Santos Police Department (LSPD). Hillside 13 is a sureño (southern Mexican) street gang located in El Burro Heights, geographically placed in the eastern part of Los Santos. El Burro Heights is one of East Los Santos' oldest barrios (gangs), dating back to the early 1900s. Around that period of time, the neighborhood consisted mainly of working-class families with Italian and Irish descent, but as the migration of many Mexican immigrants happened a majority of the other ethnic groups such as the Jewish, Irish, and Italian population moved up northwest towards Mirro Park and West Vinewood. Many of the Hispanic population was working in local shops as well in the nearby industrial area. That came to a change as the Murrieta Oil Field was bought in 1921. Almost instantly, cheap Mexican laborers began to flood into the area, working in the oil fields in slave-like conditions, being used as cheap labor hand. As the new laborers began to settle down in the neighborhood of El Burro Heights, they were faced with severe racism by the locals, despising them for stealing their jobs and because of their cultural differences. This caused violence coming from both sides, forcing the Hispanic community to band together and protect each other from the racism and violence that was directed towards them. The gang was originally formed by young teens associated with the Catholic Church in the neighborhood. The gang was probably formed in 1921 when there was an influx of Mexican immigrants into El Burro Heights fleeing religious persecution in Mexico. Between 1926 and 1928, persecution in Mexico closed the churches and drove the priests into exile causing hundreds of families to settle in El Burro Heights, a predominately Jewish neighborhood at the time. The Mexican immigrants preserved their Catholic traditions and Father Cordero, one of the exiled Mexican priests, was named administrator of the Mission of Our Lady of Talpa. The first mass was celebrated on Ash Wednesday, 1927 and the first Baptism was recorded on October 27, 1928. It was the young boys of the families that attended this Catholic Church that formed the gang that would eventually become Hillside 13. The gang came into prominence during the Pachuca era of the 1940s and were one of the first gangs to develop rivalries with all the surrounding various, including Varrio Nuevo Estrada and El Hoyo Maravilla. During the 1950s, Hillside 13 members socialized at the Jewel Theatre on Whittier Blvd near Indiana Street but by the 1960s, the theatre was closed. Today, Hillside1 3 is one of the largest geographical gangs in the El Burro Heights and in 2019 the Los Santos City Attorney’s office filed a civil injunction against the gang, labeling it a nuisance. During the years to follow, the Hillside community has undergone a serious gentrification transition, with new buildings constructed, old buildings renovated and rents increasing. According to retired Sheriff deputy Richard Valdemar, “Hillside was one of the largest and most violent gangs in Los Santos when I was growing up during the 1950s and 1960s. They claim to be the first gang to carry out a drive-by shooting and are largely responsible for moving warfare from the fair fight to the urban terrorist mentality we see today.”

  24. there is no such thing as criminal rp what the fuck is that lmao there are crimes, but we're all civilians? and is it the singular act of committing a crime that makes you a "criminal RPer"? or is there a threshold? what even is a "criminal rp flavor"? the script is highly red taped and there's only a few with access to script mechanics anyway when we're talking about the root of criminal rp (we're talking drugs and guns here), so it doesn't matter for the majority of people. "criminal rp", or the idea that OP tries to push that there is any sort of dichotomy between players, is a silly concept. if you walk around irl looking at people thinking "this guy is a criminal but this guy isn't" then you're naive. everyone's a criminal, most of us just haven't been caught. if you think you're not a criminal then you don't know your laws well enough.

  25. Shooting at AURA Nightclub: A Retelling Akari, Co-Founder Kaizen Corporation Earlier tonight, a shooting occurred out front of AURA Nightclub in south Los Santos. The owner and manager, Ashley Hendricks, has been under fire for several hours due to her handling of the situation - specifically, continuing to run advertisements for the venue whilst the victim, a female, lay deceased in the building’s parking lot for an extended period of time after the incident. One account, lovingly named Trashley Hendricks, along with another Facebrowser user, Steven Keo, both posted images of the body after the incident. For the sake of privacy and respect for the victim, I've blurred out the contents of the images posted. After several posts criticizing both Hendricks for continuing to advertise, and the two Facebrowser users for posting images of the body, Ashley Hendricks herself makes a statement. After receiving backlash for her behaviour and false claims, she disables comments on the post. At the same time, user Trashley Hendricks brings to attention the fact she has not offered any public condolences to the victim whatsoever. Hendricks not only re-enables her comments, but also edits the post to include a condolence. Meanwhile, I’ve gathered a few recounts of the incident from several sources (some shown below among others), some who wish to stay anonymous. After piecing them together and ensuring they all match up, I’ve reconstructed a timeline of how the situation unfolded; Two men, one in a van and another in a car following behind, stopped behind the club. One was wearing a white hoodie. A girl was in the parking lot on her phone. The two men approached her and grabbed her. As she screamed for help, it caused a commotion. Meanwhile, a cruiser with two officers was performing a routine traffic stop on two women further down the parking lot. People began to gather around the scene. An Executive Security employee, a male, came forward and attempted to stop the man in the white hoodie from harassing the girl. The man harassing the girl then pulled out a gun. It’s unclear when the second man pulled his weapon or which man was holding which firearm, but we’ve received word that one had a pistol while the other had a submachine gun. One man ran to get the cops performing the traffic stop further down the parking lot - as he did, the men opened fire. We’ve received no word that the security guard was injured, but the girl they were attempting to abduct was shot several times. Her body was left laying in the parking lot for quite some time after the shooting. The men took off, police following. One witness, Zylas McDee, claims he was ushered inside AURA Nightclub by a second Executive employee - red hair, in a black cap. The male employee radioed in to the club, telling them there’s been a shooting outside and to lock the doors. McDee said as he was taken into the club for safety, he witnessed Ashley Hendricks attempting to come outside. She was blocked by the same female guard that brought McDee inside, though. Paramedics eventually arrived onscene and declared the victim DOA. During the time of these incidents, it’s confirmed that ads for AURA Nightclub were still running, despite the recent shooting outside and the male guard telling the club’s staff inside to lock the doors. This recount of the situation directly implies that Hendricks was lying in her statement on Facebrowser, regarding not knowing about the situation. Not only was the incident all over social media, both with ridicule and actual photos, but Executive Security staff working at AURA Nightclub radioed in the situation directly after it happened, and Hendricks was soon seen actively attempting to exit the building into the parking lot. Hendricks was 100% aware of the situation that was going on outside - she chose to ignore it in favor of her own capital. Even when security asked her to lock the doors and keep those inside safe, she continued to aggressively advertise the venue and bring more customers in. With all of this taken into account, it is clear and evident that Hendricks’ thirst for profit comes with no regard for morality or the safety of those she capitalizes off of.
