  1. I really dig the layers of this faction. The typical bad biker thing, the suited nightlife style, and casual everyday roleplay. Realistic and interesting. It's easy to see experience when it comes naturally like this. Bravo boys.

  2. Is water wet? Do you believe water is wet? The Paints News International Corporate Research Institute for Science™ asked the question openly, via an online poll yesterday. Of course, online polls have their own limitations but the aim is more to give a general idea - a barometer if you like - of the general tendency in Los Santos. The main aim was to get a good feeling of how the people living in our State felt about this particular alleged property of water. Unsurpsiringly to our data analysts, a vast majority of those who responded to the poll did feel that water was wet. Over 83% of responders scored their feeling of water wetness at a four or five, one being "very dry" and five being "totally wet". Just a bit over 16% of San Andreans rated their sense of wetness of water as a one or two. So what's the problem? We asked a few more questions, the next pertaining to the dampness of the air when submerged inside water (the whole ocean falls under water's jurisdiction). 54% of responders graded the air's dampness as a four or five, while under the water (one being "pretty dry" and five being "dank like my memes"). Those numbers correlate strongly with those from the first question. Now, this feeling seems to be quite overwhelming among San Andreans. We asked next who they felt was responsible, for water being wet, and an impressive 80% replied the mayor was to blame, followed by 16% mentioning the LSPD's responsibility, and the last 4% blaming the various DJs of Los Santos. We sat down with Wilson, owner of a scuba diving club, but he was unable to reply our questions since we were underwater and he had breathing gear on. Of course, should we manage to analyze those learnings deeper, we will certainly publish an update. Paints news is a news outlet, providing the most dubious information from the less reliable sources. Nothing we post should be taken as fact, unless you really have no critical sense. For more not-so-dependable information, do follow us on Facebrowser. We cannot, however, make the poor safety levels of LS any more obvious.

  5. Gun store roleplay is ridiculous and actually very demotivating. It makes absolutely no money and is in the end a frustrating experience. Let me lay out my current situation. My business employee's are getting a 35% cut on the sales. A combat pistol costs 8000 which would take 800 components. 35% to employees = 2800 65% to the store = 5400 Components are 250$ per 50, we need 800 comps which is equal to 16 crates 16 x 250 = 4000 Leaves the store with 1400 A shotgun costs 12000 takes 1200 components 35% to employees = 4200 65% to the store = 7800 1200 components equal to 24 crates 24 x 250 = 6000 Leaves the store with 1800 Now this looks like much on paper. Oooh 1400 per gun sale, fucking bank. No it's actually not. Keep in mind that it takes an average of 2.5 hours to get a sale that includes a firearm. In between you get either retards that troll you in the store, people that reached their monthly limit or people coming to ask for advise or for illegal sales. It is actually ridiculous how long you have to wait to get a decent sale, its so demotivating. Ammunition actually earns us jack shit, both employee and store. I have a 3 man management team, I split the total store profits in 2 so this actually means I earn 700 per sale. The 3rd person isn't getting paid extra because there's no freaking money for him. People leave the business faster than the speed of light if they realize they can just grind one of the scripted jobs to get more money an hour than with roleplaying. People that actually care for the gun roleplay are sticking around but aren't that active as it literally is a waste of time. Ammunations are so neglected by the staff team that it is beyond demotivating at this point. Myself and my management team put tons and tons of hours into this, we made photoshop designs, bought an entire range, office and armory. Customly decorated the armory and even went as far as buying a real domain and a server to host the website on to get an even more realistic experience. We spent hours trying to find people IG willing to come work for us and RP within the store but at the end it continues to not be worth it and demotivates us even further. Fix the ammunations. There's so many ways to fix it but its literally not being done. Honestly a normal component amount like 99.9% of all other businesses in GTAW would be a great start.

  7. username: marcus_guerra Comment: So I got a pizza last week from this tent and I have to say the overral service has improved, which results in my 3 star rating now being a 4 star rating. However there are still issues with this place. People that are on a gluten free diet shouldn't go to this place since there's no Gluten Free Pizza. The cheese is also full of too much fat!!! There should be an option for young cheese. Most pizza's are served with CHEDDAR CHEESE ??? This also surprises me as pizza is already a unhealthy thing in general, but adding cheap cheddar cheese as a topping is a really bad thing! I will be honest in saying that the employees have a tendency to move a little slower than normal. I'm not expecting them to rush through preparing the food, but if everyone picked up the pace, just a half of a notch, it could take them WAY FURTHER. I did notice that everyone was working diligently and there wasn't any standing around and chit or shit chatting. I like to see when everyone works as a team and is keeping up with their responsibilities just like a real Italian PIZZERIA. However, if they worked on improving this maybe they could serve everyone in a short time span.... One thing that also bothers me still is the high prices. I would give a 5 star rating if it weren't for the high prices. There should also be a discount system for customers that are pizza freaks. Veterans, ex law enforcement and other handicaps already have way too much discounts, benefits and everything in this country.... there should be a change in that! The loyal & fair tax paying citizen should also receive discount if one visits a certain business very often........ In overal my experience with this pizzeria has improved. Rating: ★★★★

  9. There might be a few misconceptions here, that I hope I can help dispell along with the posts above: One of those misconceptions seems to be that we're lacking a clientele. This isn't wrong, but there are a few external factors that are important to take into account. First difficulty: even if we had a massive clientele, our profit would remain quite low because of the component cost. As mentioned above, the script works like that, no communication plan or RP can solve that. Second issue is: ammu-nations can only sell 2 guns a month, only to people with a valid firearms license. Those are a bit annoying to get (a bit) and not many people have those for various reasons*. So, the sales will by default be rather limited, again due to factors we have little control over. Third problem: unlike other items that are solds by businesses (food, drinks, ...), guns aren't consumable items, they have little need to be renewed. Those who need to renew it sometimes can't (2/month limit, script, we can't RP around it), and the others will only ever buy one. Fourth obstacle: unlike cars, guns cannot be modded. A mechanic will make most of their money out of paint jobs, customizations, engine boosts, ... whose gun equivalent we cannot provide. Once the gun is sold, we are unlikely to ever see the customer again. Fifth and last challenge: People often change cars and as a consequence, often need modding to fit their new car to their tastes. This isn't the case with guns: their selection is exceedingly limited and you can't re-sell them to someone else, so even if it was possible to mod them, the business would still be considerably below what a mechanic would get. People would mod them once and done, return customers aren't a thing. I hope it sheds a bit of light on the very Ammunation-specific difficulties we're encountering ^^ * Part of it is that you need a clean record, and even by doing nothing particularly wrong you can still end up with a minor offense there, and be denied FL/CCWs permanently.

  11. As someone who is Irish and has had this idea before, it would need to be very good. I see far to many "'Ey diddly dee, I'ma fuckin' leprechaun" shit characters to have hope for it. People don't realize that most Irish people talk normally with an accent that doesn't sound like your straight out of a dickens novel.

  14. Is San Andreas Safe? Ryan D. Price Do you feel safe living in San Andreas? I posed this question openly, along with a few others, via an online poll yesterday. Now, by no means am I claiming this simple poll is a scientific public opinion study. However, I think it's a good barometer for getting an idea of how people feel about living in this state. Unsurprisingly, to me at least, the vast majority of those who responded to the poll did not feel particularly safe living in San Andreas. Over 83% of responders scored their feeling of safety as a three or lower on a scale of one to five (one labeled "Not Safe at All" and five labeled "Completely Safe"). 54% rated a two or one. Just a bit over 16% of San Andreans scored their sense of security here as a four or five. So what's the problem? I asked a few more questions. The next pertained to how good of a job LSPD does at keeping San Andreas safe (the whole state falls under their jurisdiction). 54% of responders graded their work as a two or one (One being "Terrible" and five being "Perfect") while 21% gave them an average three and just 25% gave them a four or five. Those numbers correlate strongly with the numbers from the first question. Out of those who responded, 54% feel unsafe living in San Andreas and 54% feel the LSPD does a bad job keeping them safe. This is a problem when you look at the next set of numbers. Out of those who responded, 75% had been the victim of a violent crime. An overwhelming 92% had witnessed a violent crime or known a victim. The last two questions yielded similarly bleak numbers. When asked if they had been witness to or the victim of extortion in their workplace, 75% of responders said they had. The final question, "Do you feel LSPD could do a better job at combating gangs and organized crime?", had a resounding response of 80% of those questioned answering "Yes". By breaking down these numbers we at least get a glimpse into just why so many of San Andreas' residents feel unsafe here. Perceived incompetence in the police force. An extremely high incidence of violent crime that's virtually unavoidable. Extortion attempts plaguing business owners. All these things, easily, would detract from anybody's feeling of security. The bigger issue here is that this is about residents' perceived safety at home. I sat down with Akari, the owner of Sakana Sushi, to talk about an incident at her business involving two (presumed) gang members that turned violent. "So I was hanging behind the bar with my bartender, and these three walked in. One of them was a proper skinhead. Shaved, tattoos. The guy had a fucking eighty-eight on his arm, for Christ's sake. I wasn't having any of that, so I tried to get a hold of a friend I have in LSPD. I didn't realize she left before they came, so my sister texted her. In the meantime, the three had come up here [to the second level of the restaurant], over to that sofa." As the group settled on the sofa, one of Akari's employees was cleaning off a table nearby. Akari asked them to leave. She didn't want to serve neo-Nazis. "I wasn't necessarily polite. But you know, my property." One of the two proceeded to verbally harass Akari. "He told me that I 'looked like I wanted my throat fucked.'. So I told [the employee] to get downstairs, and told them to get the fuck out. Then one rushed me. I took a step back, tried to get out of the way, but he rammed me down the stairs." The group didn't stop there. "They grabbed [the employee] by the fucking hair and tossed her down. Split her head open, broke an ankle. She didn't even do anything." This all seems so senseless, right? I've witnessed plenty of idiots getting thrown out of places for a myriad of reasons in many cities. Of course, some get more irritated than others. But to respond immediately with that level of violence? To grab a girl who hadn't done so much as say a word by the hair and throw her down a staircase, causing her to crack her head and break an ankle? When asked if she believed the response was racially motivated, or if these individuals are simply just another gang Akari said, "Honestly? I haven't personally seen them do anything outwardly racially motivated. I can't really speak for other people, but they never said anything to me or any of my staff. I think they're just using it as an excuse to be aggressive and antisocial towards everyone." For reference, Akari is a Japanese woman. Akari's is just one story of many regarding the shadow that violent crime casts on this city. I've personally witnessed similar events at other venues and I've only lived in LS for a bit over two weeks. Whether it be gang violence, random violence, extortion, robbery, or whatever else, there's no avoiding the violence in Los Santos and if the poll I ran is any indication, the people here know it. Later this week Saints will be sitting down with newly appointed District Attorney, Lucas Lowe. The perceived lack of safety among residents and the perceived incompetence of law enforcement will be among many things we talk to him about. Stay tuned for the interview in the coming days. 15. Three Women, Three Perspectives Feminism, Revenge Porn And You Women play a vital role in our society in Los Santos, with many of them being in top positions in companies in all sorts of industries in the city, with Kalani Jamil (Saints News), Irelia Podhajna (Weazel News) and Emilia Russo (R&R) dominating the press game, to Julia Huddleston being the woman behind Bahama Mamas, Lana Vandy behind her own consultancy firm, Kaylee Keeton with her SingleFlash Photography, Isabella Roberts with her Crucial Fix and the company SecuroServ, again, headed by a woman, the role that women play in Los Santos is an endless list. Just 5% of companies in the S&P 500 Index are headed by women, however, Los Santos paints a different light - many more women are in the top jobs in Los Santos compared to almost anywhere else in the world. The age-old question that has plagued women for generations has again popped up - is it enough? We spoke to three influential women in Los Santos to see their views on womanhood, success and 'revenge porn' (which has become a very contentious subject on social media itself), to see what their thoughts are, together, we seek to find something that resembles an answer. Definitions: Revenge Porn: revealing or sexually explicit images or videos of a person posted on the Internet, typically by a former sexual partner, without the consent of the subject and in order to cause them distress or embarrassment. (Source: Google) Nudes: a naked human figure, typically as the subject of a painting, sculpture, or photograph. (Source: Google) WARNING: This article contains strong language and sensitive subjects. Lana Vandy Lana Vandy is the COO of Vinewood Business and Financial Advisors. A woman whose rise to fame was miraculous in Los Santos, we begin with her and her views on the cities' attitudes towards women. So, as a notable woman in business in Los Santos, you're quite often surrounded by men, have you ever faced discrimination because of your gender? Oh yes, definitely no doubt. I actually made a major switch from being a trader in London to be a model across Europe. I ended up moving to Los Santos for a modelling gig. Often I do have people doubt my credentials based on my looks, even though I know what I am talking about and am a highly qualified person. Could you give some examples? I remember walking to a meeting and having someone I know asking me why I was dressed in my suit and that I needed to show some more skin. On top of that as well, I briefly came out of retirement from modelling to take some photos for an up and coming business. The owner was talking to a man there about his financials and automatically assumed I didn’t know anything or it was “male talk” because I am an attractive woman. You were once accused of being a 'Gold Digger', could you tell us any more about that? No comment - When I came to the city, I wanted to find an intelligent man who could make as much money as I can, sorry broke guys. Revenge Porn, illegal in many countries and even states, most notably your birth country of the United Kingdom, what are your thoughts surrounding the legality of it in Los Santos? Whether you send 'nudes' to people or not, do you feel comfortable the risk that your friends could be 'exposed' in an argument? Wow. That is legal? That is disgusting. People send photos of themselves to ones that they trust. Exposing those is breaking that trust and is [sic] volatile. So you'd be open to pressuring government officials to change the law? Yes, I no doubt would. 'Nudes' are sent to someone privately! Kaylee Keeton Kaylee Keeton is the owner of the popular photography business, SingleFlash Photography. she does not regard herself as a feminist, however, she is also not opposed to them. We spoke to her regarding her opinions to provide a more balanced argument to this article. So, you're quite outspoken in the fact that you're not a feminist, could you go into a little more detail about why? Well, first, I don't like labels, I don't need an honour badge just cause I believe in an ideology. I'm not against feminism nor I'm with it. For me, feminism is only needed when there is a clear gap between men and women. Like forbidding women to access certain professions, make some professions only accessible to women. Forbidding women to have their own bank accounts, forbidding women the right to vote, et cetera, So like I'm not with it nor I'm against it if you get me. So have you ever been looked down upon because of your gender, in your profession or otherwise? Well I was dating a biker for a while I suppose you can say that his biker friends were looking down on me cause of my gender, it appeared like they treated women more like property rather than a friend or a loved one. In regards to my profession, no, as of this far no one has dared to say I can't be a photographer cause I'm a woman. You're known to some for your disagreements with other women, those who are feminists and Pro-LGBT, could you tell us any more about that? Like I said I'm not against feminism nor am I with it, you are welcome to be who you wanna be as long as you don't do it for attention from others. Same goes in regards of the lesbian community be what you wanna be just don't claim to be a lesbian just to get some extra likes on your pictures. Do you think revenge porn should be illegal? As of the conducting of this interview, It's currently legal in Los Santos. In regards to revenge porn, I feel like yeah it should be probably made illegal cause Los Santos is filled with the silly girls who send nudes of themselves or allow their partners to take some of them. It's 2019, by now girls should know that, no matter what, if you share such explicit pictures with anyone you are taking a risk eventually no matter what those things get leaked. Isabella Roberts To conclude this article, we interviewed Isabella Roberts, a controversial figure in the eyes of some, that hasn't stopped her from making a success of her cafe, the Crucial Fix, Isabella was recently threatened by an old friend to have her 'nudes' exposed over an argument on the social media platform, FaceBrowser. First of all, how have you seen attitudes about women in Los Santos? Positive/Negative? Negative - Well, what do you want to know about exactly? There's loads of negative shit going around. For example how men are seen as cool when they cheat and sleep around with multiple women, but when a woman does it - she's labelled as a slut and becomes a punching bag on the internet. So personally, how have negative attitudes towards women affected you? Do you really have to ask that? I keep getting rumours spread around about me, how I sleep around with men and shit. As you already know, after Keinan's jerk move (Keinan has been accused of threatening to expose Isabella's nudes via FaceBrowser following an argument) - my life is completely ruined. Multiple people have my nudes, I keep getting people to come up to me in person and just... act overly sexual and shit. My business will probably make zero in profits when I open it again. Just... everything is fucked for me. Revenge porn, as you know, is legal in Los Santos, what would you say to lawmakers if given the opportunity? Defamation of character is still a civil issue, but uh, yeah, I would love for the lawmakers to actually consult each other around this law. My life is now completely ruined, because of Keinan and the posts he has revealed on FaceBrowser, If Sara, Lana or anyone with a weaker mindset would have gone through this, Keinan, or anyone else, could have easily killed them. I know from experience the depression that comes after everyone starts harassing you over that drama stuff. Sorry, I'm shit at explaining stuff. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ So there you have it, Los Santos. Now it's your turn, tell us what you think of the concerns we raised with our three guests, do you agree, do you disagree? Or perhaps you want to expand on a point they made? Let us know in the comment section below. As of the publication of this article, 'Revenge Porn' remains legal in Los Santos, we were not able to get a comment from government officials at this time.
