  1. This has been a highly requested tutorial, keep in mind this is only for the creation of add-on mods, these do not change direct game files, they are simply dragged to the 'dlcpacks' folder of the server on your Rage-MP directory, mostly for re-texture mods. Tools required: OpenIV, download here; ArchiveFix, download here; Base add-on files, down here; The mod itself, I used this one as a test example: Mod. I recommend creating a new folder where you'll be working on the following steps, once everything is downloaded and ready. Keep in mind: The base files provided for the add-on creation will only work for textures, for such things as vehicle models or weapon models, you'll need other base files as they will not use textures.rpf most likely, take a look here and download according to your needs or the all-in-one package, the process however is the same as shown, this will work also for the so blessed nipple mods everyone keeps asking me over and over for another variant, you can now do it yourself and stop asking, since they're basically textures. 1 - Extract the mod to a working directory for easy management and move the dlc.rpf from the base add-on files to a new location and open it with OpenIV so you can start the process. 2 - With OpenIV open the dlc.rpf and navigate to the textures.rpf, this is where you'll drag all files, don't forget to enable edit mode on top. 3 - Drag the texture files inside now, once done go back and drag the textures.rpf out of OpenIV, then proceed to delete it from OpenIV. 4 - You should now have the textures.rpf file at the directory, just drag it on top of the ArchiveFix.exe, you should get a command line output that the file was encrypted. 5.1 - Now re-add the textures.rpf file back to the OpenIV inside the dlc.rpf we were working on once it's encrypted just drag it back inside the x64 directory. 5.2 - Go all the way back to the root of the dlc.rpf in OpenIV, you'll need to edit both the .xml files inside. 6 - Change accordingly to what you're going to name the folder where the dlc.rpf will be stored, can be anything, don't forget to hit 'save' once you're done. 7 - Disable edit mode once you're done, and drag the dlc.rpf on top of the ArchiveFix.exe just the same way you did with the textures.rpf. 8 - Create the folder according to what you named the mod on the .xml files, drag the dlc.rpf inside, and you're done, just drag the folder to the dlcpacks of the server you wish to connect.

  2. I usually pay about $100 to $150 for a beer in NYC, so I'm not sure I see what the issue is.

  3. Itsuki “Suki” Fukuhara, born on 18th of August 1999 in Osaka, Japan. Son of a construction worker while his mother is a nurse. Itsuki’s family wasn’t wealthy but still managed to live a normal life. Kousuke Ueno, born on 14th of May 1999 in Osaka, Japan. Son of a mechanic while his mother is a house-wife. Kousuke’s family wasn’t doing well as Itsuki’s but they managed as well to live a decent life. Backstory Itsuki’s early interaction with Kousuke consists of his dad paying frequent visits to the neighbouring garage, Ueno’s, for minor repairs in his stock unstable Warrener. As time passes, and after the 4th-5th visit the acquaintanceship between Itsuki’s dad and Kousuke’s dad promotes as they agree on allowing Itsuki’s father to drop Kousuke home as well while bringing his son home after school. Itsuki pursued his studies at the Osaka International School, with his close friend Ueno, Kousuke. Kousuke was the type of character to find car enthusiasts in school and spark up discussions about cars, especially of the JDM culture, as Itsuki wouldn’t fill the contentment Kousuke has from enjoying it. Itsuki wanted to blend in with the conversation but ends up making a Kousuke a victim of his bullying publicly, causing issues to their friendship. Itsuki’s regression of losing Kousuke as his friend lead to his lack in his studies and focus more into studying about vehicles with the intention of enjoying a conversation out of mutual interest. As more as Itsuki began studying the Japanese car culture, his interests and passions in the field flourish to expand across the JDM car culture. Being fit enough, engages in conversation with Kousuke with an attempt to mend the friendship they once had. Kousuke seeming to be convinced, introduced Itsuki to the scene by having him take his dad’s Warrener to visit a car show being hosted at about 11 PM and watch The Kanjozoku, Osaka’s infamous group of racers. Without hesitation, Itsuki agrees to it and does so as told, takes the Corolla after patiently waiting for his parents to fall asleep and makes his way towards the location pre-discussed. The day goes well, Itsuki and Kousuke seem to be having their attention drawn and fixated on the uniquely JDM modified cars ranging from Blista’s with K20 engine swaps with AEM EMS Standalone engine-management systems by The Kanjozoku’s influence, to Jester’s with 3.2L C32B engines. The trip was taken through the Kanjo with multiple other vehicles, Itsuki intentionally tries to keep up with the group in his dad’s rusty Warrener while Kousuke’s seated as a passenger. Not after driving long, shifting to the fifth gear at 7,000 RPM(Redline) spat out an audible knock from the engine. The engine was blown as the valve was closing and the pistons were rising faster than normal, colliding into each other. Kousuke calling his father to the Kanjo after a couple of hours contemplating, towed the car back to their garage, dropping Itsuki on the way home. Days pass by silently, Itsuki walking to school while his father taking the bus to work – Completely disappointed of Itsuki’s actions, the Warrener needed a new engine to replace the blown one. Months later, it was later replaced with a reconditioned 1496 cc 5K-J engine. Itsuki let Kousuke know how much of a disappointment he became to his family and didn’t want to get involved with the scene again, focusing on his studies more and became an exemplary student till graduation. After the graduation, the duo decided to study at the same institute for the University of San Andreas, Los Santos degree, but in two separate fields. Itsuki focused more into the programming field, obtain the Bachelor’s of Engineering, Software Engineering degree while Kousuke focused on the Bachelor’s of Engineering, Automotive Engineering degree to expand his knowledge, receive the much-needed exposure from working at his dad’s garage with him – following the passion he has for cars. After completing two years of their degree at the institute, they’re required to complete the final year at ULSA in Richman, Los Santos. With the support from the Institute of a 49 percent scholarship to ULSA, their parents invested their savings and obtained loans from the bank to cover up the rest of the funds. Itsuki’s uncle, a hardware store owner called in the duo to LS and settle at an apartment of his in Little Seoul. The story continues..

  4. Akari is a blunt, headstrong Asian-American woman with an unchecked mental disorder and a chainsmoking problem. Originally born in the ghettos of Osaka, she immigrated in her early adulthood to escape prejudice and discrimination in her home city. Now nearing her 30s, she's comfortably settled down in a new continent. While initially coming off as benevolent and caring, anyone who gets comfortable with her can quickly realize she has a well-kept strategy of sweet-talking others to get what she wants from them. The closer of a relationship someone gets with her, the more harsh, apathetic, and controlling she'll become. Overall, her priority is garnering complete control over her social circles and those who she deems "beneath" her. This comes with a catch, though; she's also rather easily intimidated and can easily be power-played into submission. As such, she primarily preys on the shy and naive - those who don't know how to defend themselves, verbally or physically. On the occasion that she does truly care about someone, it becomes incredibly difficult for her to show it. Instead, she prefers to push people away if she notices herself getting too attached. (Psst! Click me! I'm a character playlist!)

  5. The 1965, Another Club Up For Sale At Present Is The Nightclub Scene Over-Saturated? New Clubs, Same Opportunities, Same Styles. This is an editorial piece and does not represent the views of Saints News, only of the author. Nightclubs, an immense opportunity to seemingly anyone with the money to invest, or so it would seem. Week after week, Los Santos' nightlife is propped up with more and more nightclubs, while it is fair to say we're still far from breaking point, we are indeed seeing intense market saturation, demographic splitting and a constant repeat of the same night out, with very little to differentiate or give any unique talking points to any of the available clubs. To describe a common night-out in Los Santos, you eagerly await the advertisement to pop through your radio, already pre-dressed, because, hey, it's Los Santos, you're always prepared for a nightclub, you head on over in your own car, you can drive drunk, right? You head over to the bartender, order your usual, maybe you see your friends, maybe you headed in with them, either way, you eventually end up sitting in a booth talking through the night, or you end up on the dancefloor listening to the same rehashed music played by every nightclub in the city. Eventually, you get bored, or 'Closing Time' plays, and you head on out, drive yourself home (You only had four drinks, go for it! Right? Right...?) or to the next nightclub, and the night repeats ad infinitum for the rest of your time here in our city. Fusion Nightclub, Good Rating, Generally Familar Obviously, a nightclub presents an easy opportunity to make some easy money, set a playlist of remixes, hire either SecuroServ or Executive Security, pick out two bartenders on the street, enjoy the government bonus and sit back and relax. Now, I understand that many nightclubs do indeed place a lot of effort into their clubs, from having themed nights to special events and private parties. For others, it remains an easy way to coarse the bank accounts of Los Santos' citizens, many with overpriced drinks, exclusive VIP zones and so on. Outside of some very skilled people with interior design skills, there is little to differentiate one club to another. I sometimes get confused about which nightclub is which, or where I'm being invited to because they're all just generally quite similar. While other cities have nightclubs that specialise in certain themes, for example, you'd have a bright, fabulous, in-your-face gay bar playing 'ABBA' and 'Cher', you'd have a dark, gritty rock club playing anything from 'My Chemical Romance' to 'Led Zepplin', beautiful, bright lounges with warm colours playing from 'Billy Joel' to 'Barry Manilow', pop nightclubs with lots of colour and a lingering smell of aftershave playing anything from 'Basshunter' to these seemingly loved-by-all remixes. Nightclubs attempt to play it safe by, and failing at, being a 'catch-all', generic night out. The Galaxy, Good Nightclub, Potential Unrealised. The interior and exterior design of the nightclubs sets you up for disappointment as you realise the loss of potential of many of these nightclubs, while some attempt to reach different feelings, for example, exclusivity, the theme generally falls flat and just means you've paid more for the same thing elsewhere. The general idea behind Los Santos' nightlife would not be so bad if it wasn't a process repeated by the next nightclub and the one after that. Eventually, we lead to a situation where there are more nightclubs than club-goers, and everyone is offering the exact same product. In order for one of Los Santos' best scenes to grow, it needs to learn to differentiate, to spread out into different segments of the market. To be run by ambitious owners who are not afraid to change from the norm, the only way the cities nightlife will continue is if some major overhaul is reached and new ideas are developed and explored. Nightclubs are full of talented people, many DJs (who are forced to keep to the formula), to bartenders who are some of the friendliest people I have met in the city, to the exciting deals and sponsorships many do to promote local businesses, as stated in an 'Honest Review' nightclubs are Fusions of Talent, and whether it's down by poor management, over-exposure or other external factors, it is not fair on them or their customers to let them down repeatedly with a constant stream of normalcy. Many heads need to turn towards loud customers who resist any change, too, when the people of the city scream for something different, attempts to change are often shouted down by a loud minority who want a club to be the same as they'd expect, placing pressure through friendships and nepotism to resist any changes to the nightlife scene. I fear that if the situation does not change, and the industry continues as it does, we will see falling populations of those who are willing to go out to these clubs and an increase of nightclubs that repeat the formula. Los Santos is a city incredibly rich in diversity, this is absolutely not represented in our nightlife culture. For tourists headed over for a night-out from San Fierro or Las Venturas or beyond, Los Santos style will only be disappointed as they realise the cluelessness of the shareholders who spit out the generic, cliche atmosphere surrounding our nightlife. If Los Santos' club owners are too afraid to change, they will be overshadowed eventually by those who aren't. There is so much potential at stake in all of these venues, but this potential remained untapped and unrealised. Nightclubs have not yet reached breaking-point, but given time, they will. 6. Currently the insurance is tied to the car, which is wrong. The insurance should have to be updated when the vehicle changes ownership, placing more personal responsibility of the receiving character to be able to pay for their vehicle upkeep. This will stop people rping insurance policies transferring, which is a fundamental issue that goes against the intended aim of a "Heavy RP server".

  8. I agree entirely. I for one need to socialise, exercise, and meditate, and go out and do the necessary stuff. This leaves me with a varying total of 2-4 hours to play with infrequent exceptions, and that's if I'm even in the mood for playing. I ain't some 13 year old Aspergic kid with nothing to do just except on a PC all day while my legs atrophy. I ain't gonna grind those crappy, un-fun jobs or do the Sandy Shores bullshit out of sheer principle. If I'm gonna RP a job, I'm gonna do it for fun /and/ to get decent $$$ to fund further roleplaying ventures; if I get hired as a bartender and come out with less Benjamins than a virtual fisherman, then I ain't gonna RP a bartender. @All the people who are saying 5k/hour isn't a realistic wage - heads up, this game isn't realistic. It's somewhat trying to emulate it sure, but the economy has been adjusted so it's actually fun. The equivalent properties of Mirror Park IRL [MacArthur Park, LA]which is in the 200-300k price range, are from 500k-1.5 million+. Referencehttps://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-search/Macarthur-Park_Los-Angeles_CA/type-single-family-home A gun IRL, a pistol, is about $500-$1500. This has been adjusted in-game so it's more expensive and so people will not be able to buy loads or get them with ease, and to create a functioning gun market for an RP server unlike the USA which is flooded. In regard to OP I think the bonuses should be raised. So more expensive IRL things and cheapened [sports cars, properties], and the cheaper things are made more expensive [think 1k+ for a baseball bat, 5k for a mask] Do you want your realistic prices now? At 5k an hour, a bartender excluding tips could afford a new house in Mirror Park in about 60 hours. That's a hell of a lot of time, and they'd have to seek multiple job openings too if they were to do it fast. At 2k an hour, a supposed realistic price, one could afford a new, realistically priced house in Mirror Park in 450 hours. And I'm being generous. Should you waste your life doing the latter? In my opinion, fuck no. The former is actually a feasible goal.

  9. Nobody goes around saying "chale" "vato" "ese" and such nowadays. Everything's watered down. Back then, it mattered whether you were on the east side and south side when it came to slang but nowadays it's everywhere. Of course there's small patches of people who refuse to do such a thing and stay by old routine, but as a whole that isn't the case anymore. You have everyone across the board saying nigga this and nigga that, and cuzz this and cuzz that. If you viewed any recent video of south siders/east siders stomping about in their neighborhood, you wouldn't see any differences between them. Back then you would. In addition, blacks weren't accepted that much in sureno gangs. Yes, there were a few here and there but the majority of the time there were only one or two within a given gang. It wasn't the usual for a black dude to roll with a bunch of hispanics, especially back then where racial tensions were at an all time high. The most you'd probably see is Caucasians being around them, which was the common theme in California Prisons then and now.

  12. I'm a business owner and you're wrong, I had openings so bad due to this flawed system, I had to pay out of my own pocket. I make good money only when server crashes, but due to that 20k limit, without server crashing and resetting the government bonus I can barely pay my employees. I have no problem with paying my own money, but there's no point in owning a business if you earn less than a bartender as a business owner.

  13. Your quite is honestly odd. If Continuity wasn't something we planned then we wouldn't be having this conversation. Instead I would have posted the answer regarding the universe, locking the thread instead of replying to this thread over and over again. Each subject we cover is going to be publicly posted on the forums in organized fashion. There will be ruling on matters concerning continuity however as you can tell players who don't follow it aren't DMing or Hacking or doing whatever so they won't be punished unless they start insulting the handling admin and whatnot. We do expect players to follow the continuity we establish, however, we do realize this is new to most if not all of our players so we aren't going to punish them or anything of the sort unless things really go south during their conversation with staff. Continuity is there to help the player, not screw him over. Knowing what's around you significantly helps your RP since you know how to react to your surroundings. To answer your question: Not everyone is on the same page. In fact, each major continuity concern usually divides the community in half so it's not obvious to everyone and honestly it doesn't have to be either, that's what we have continuity for. It should have been done a long time ago but it wasn't so now we're taking things into our own hands. You'd be surprised how many RP communities do not have establish continuity and to this day no one knows wtf is going on around them on those servers. We'll be avoiding that by giving an extra push in the right direction, being among the first ones to fully define the setting of the server.

  15. Hi. Too many idiots evade in cars that cost more than their houses, and then then they inevitably get caught by the PD, they unimpound it the next day for a low low cost of $1000 and don't roleplay the fact that only yesterday did they slam it into a wall at Mach 3. What would everyone's thoughts be on a system whereby if you evade from the cops, your car is impounded for longer, and if you continuously evade, then your car is seized by the police indefinitely or even just straight up destroyed?
