  1. Short description: The drug system on the server should be revamped. Detailed description: Drug business plays an important role in the criminal world, drugs serve as one of the main ways to earn money for criminals, but the current drug system isn't acting like that, there are just dealers, distributors and suppliers and many other people involved are cut out. Suppliers: The current suppliers provide ready-made drugs which street dealers sell to the consumers, cutting out the roles of cooks, labs, and investors. From what I think, there should be two types of suppliers: ingredients suppliers and lab equipment suppliers. The products provided by suppliers would be expensive since we don't want everyone to start a drug business. Not only that, the high-price will also attract investors and business partnerships leading to a big roleplay network. Cooks: Once we have the ingredients and the lab equipment set up on the table, we'll be needing a cook to work on it, which, of course, the big guys would hire. For cooking, we can use the same method that is used in the brewery system but in a more improved way. Pressing "Y" anywhere in the script-wise lab would get you to the menu, from where, you'll have all the ingredients, equipment listed. The cookable drugs would also appear in the menu, upon selecting them, you will be asked to set the amount of each ingredient. After setting the amount, you choose "Cook" from the menu. Then, it will take some time, depending on the amount you are cooking, the time would be shown once you start to cook. To prevent misuse of the cooking, we can put in a different time system, the more you cook, the less time it will take per gram. For example: If you are cooking 1 gram of meth, it will take 2 minutes in cooking, which will remain constant, regardless of amount, and 1 minute depending on the amount. Likewise, if you are cooking 5grams of meth, it would take 2 minutes in cooking, plus 5 minutes depending on the amount. (I don't know how to explain this, but you get the idea, right?) Once it is cooked for the given time, you can stop the cooking. The quality of the product would strictly depend on the cook time. If you are late or early to stop the cooking, it would affect the quality. Quality: Then, we will have quality. What made Gus Fring hire Heisenberg over many other cooks in town? The quality. Quality would not depend on /rolls because the effect is always the same but on the level of the cook. The cook's level would increase with how many grams he has cooked. For example, level 1=10 grams, level 2 = 20 grams or whatever you want (Devs, you know what to do.) The better the quality, obviously, the longer lasting effect, but also the more addictive. Commands to add: There have to be many, /cook, /stopcook, /ingredients and many others. Developers know it! Items to add: All the lab equipment and stuff. How would your suggestion improve the server? Well, I think that it will give us, criminal roleplayers, much more to RP and also give RP to FBI, DEA and what not! Additional information: If you guys, in any way, think that this suggestion can be improved, if it should be implemented or not. Reply!

  3. History: Serbia The 90's were a rough period for Serbia. After the internal ethnic war and Yugoslavia falling apart, crime-influenced minds used the short-lasting period of the political chaos in the country, in order to get involved in illegal activities. With the fall of thee communistic presidents of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito and later on Slobodan Milosevic, criminals finally had the chance to successfully create different clans that later on evolved into organized crime groups, based on different parts of the capital city Belgrade. They fought over the evolving drug business, which could bring them a lot of money, respect and power on the easiest way. Josip Jovanovic was a controversial businessman from Belgrade, owner of the nightclub "Port" by the Sava river. He was involved in various illegal activities, appearing to be the legal front for the leaders of Zemunski Klan. After a major disagreement regarding the drug business in connection to football fans and crime in Belgrade, he cut off every contact with them. Once their friend and business partner now became their victim, he was heavily extorted by Zemunski Klan. After several life threats against his family, he sold his night club and left everything behind in Serbia, emigrating the country with his whole family. He settled down in Los Santos, which, in his foreign eyes, was the great place to start living the so-called "American dream". CHAPTER I: A New Beginning: Los Santos His two sons (now adults) Viktor Jovanovic (32) and Nikola Jovanovic (30) were tired of living in poverty, because their foreign father didn't find his way around in the USA, despite the many possibilities in Los Santos. Forced to do something and get out of the poverty circle, they turned to petty criminal activities and became small time criminals. Their main goal was to get money and power in this, to them, foreign, American environment. Meanwhile in Serbia, Zemunski Klan was taken down in the police action "Sablja" in 2003, so they were no threat to them anymore at all. Using their father's old connections from Serbia, they got in contact with the new criminal organizations who have a different way of operating. Extortion isn't the main goal anymore, but rather money fraud, scamming and laundering the dirty drug money. Guided on by their father's old associates who are now the main crime figure-heads in Serbia, Viktor and Nikola were able to start with their criminal lifestyle in Los Santos. CHAPTER II: Getting The Family Involved It hasn't been long until Viktor and Nikola found their place within the city, but soon enough realized that a proper assistance and guidance is required in order to succeed in their field of work. Having most of their close family back in Serbia, they needed somebody who's familiar with the USA's culture and habits, and more importantly - full of proven experience and well-connected around the continent. It wasn't long until they decided to contact their forty-year-old cousin, Stefan Lukovic, who has been spending his last twenty five years running numerous illegitimate operations in Chicago along with his own brother. Caring for both of his cousins and acknowledging their lack of experience, Stefan knew he had to do whatever it takes in order to make sure everything goes according to the plan, and therefore decided to partially shut down his own operations and move to Los Santos to keep an eye out on business from a close distance, while leaving his own brother, Zlatan Lukovic, back in Chicago as his unofficial successor. CHAPTER III: Modern Green Construction At first, Modern Green Construction was merely an idea in Stefan's mind during his first couple of weeks in Los Santos. He was constantly on the lookout for business opportunities and ways of making money, and therefore began exploring several ideas along with Viktor; hoping to come across a solution that would provide them with a constant flow of money. it was not long until they both came to the conclusion that founding a construction firm would be an educated move, due to their past experience in that field of work. Stefan was aware of the entire process and knew how to pull it off properly, so he decided to take this project on his own. Weeks later, the firm was founded under an alias and advertisement flyers could be seen all over the city. Ever since the establishment of the construction firm, it was mainly used as an official front for the trio to conduct their illegitimate business, and is providing numerous fellow Balkan associates around the states with multiple job opportunities. OOC Explaination and Rules: Vozdovacki Klan is a faction that portrays the modern Serbian crime in the USA. It's quite different from the Serbian organized crime in Serbia, even though the basic elements from the whole culture are the same. However, we won't put up any specific requirements as to how to roleplay your own character. It's freely up to you, but we expect every member to realistically portray a Serbian criminal in the USA specifically. We expect you to develop your character, that means that everyone should start from scratch when it comes to the financial side and also, we want you to roleplay a character, not a hard-blooded criminal. Everything, every tiny little thing that happens in our characters' lives needs to be roleplayed to the fullest. We are all obligated to follow the server's rules and we, the leaders, are looking forward to work together with the faction management team and accept any kind of guidance from them in order to straighten our faction on the illegal scene. With joining this faction, you automatically agree to a CK permission if we deem it necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, you can send them directly to me, @DzonI54 or @Franelli

  4. Unfortunate to hear Ethanol will be there with wikipedia open to make sure we're all roleplaying Los Angeles properly and making sure we know the last 100 years of history of it even though that's a completely different city in a completely different state. To everyone else, congrats.

Her mother Mhairi was a nurse in the local hospital, as her father Robert trained as a police constable within the Strathclyde Police Department as did his father before him. Robert was always interested in the narcotics field and Sam's parents decided they had decided to emigrate the family to Liberty City in the USA to seek a career in the LCPD. Sam was born a year later. This is where Sam grew up and her brother James was born within three years. The family managing to gain a green card status and eventually full citizenship. Her mother continued her career working in the local hospital once and her father finally landing his dream job within the LCPD Narcotics Division. However tension grew in the family, and her father’s long hours and stressful position had left him bitter and a strain on the perfect family ideal. He turned to drink, abusive and it was a matter of a few months that her mother had started divorce proceedings that would never chance to finalize. It was not long after Sam’s fifth birthday and while her mother was getting her ready for bed a knock on the door echoed around the house. Her mother opened to the door to two young Officers and after one sombre sentence, Sam witnessed her break down and cry. Her mother was never the same again from that point. Her father had intel on a huge narcotics deal that had been traced all the way from the docks and Mexico. After finalizing the operation with a team of tactical officers, Robert was about to break a huge case but it would seem to leak from within the department had the men aware and ultimately on the night, Robert was shot in the line of fire and killed instantly. Her mother’s grief had grown to consume her, she failed to turn up for work and became clinically depressed and by the time Sam was six, she and her younger brother was in and out of care for the majority of their lives. However, this never stopped her. She progressed through school pretty well, she kept her head down, getting fairly good grades and graduating from high school with a score that a majority of parents would be proud of. LCU was her college of choice, choosing a major in criminology. However, Blue blood seemingly ran true and although with much protest from her mother, she proceeded to join the Liberty City Police Department not long after graduation. Sam was pretty driven and although it was tough, she loved her new role. She trained hard and after a few years was finally accepted into the K-9 handler training program. This was never enough for a mother and their fractured relationship was strained by the constant reminder of her father. Therefore, not long after her brother left for Dubai, Sam packed up her things and accepted a lateral transfer into the Los Santos Police Department, to continue her training and eventual get to where she is today.

  6. Name: Francesco Falcone aka "Fanky" Nationality: Italian Origin: Italy Region: Sicily Eye color: Sky Blue Hobbies and interest: Alcohol - I love Alcohol, it helps me forget reality and the shit that happens in life. Drugs - Never really touched drugs before, I do a little cocaine with some friends. Women - Heh, funny story actually. I'm addicted to them, one night I have a pair of boobs in my face the other I'm laying in bed alone. Classic Cars - After coming to American I took an interest in classic american vehicles. Character story [WIP] Born and raised in Italy. I lived with my mother and my father in a tiny two bedroom homestead in a small city in the region of Sicily, mother never really worked, she stayed around the house and was always drunk at every chance she got, father, well he use to be involved in all sorts of shady business, he'd always walk around with a group of guys, always comin' in the house, doin' whatever they wanted, momma never cared cause she was drunk off her ass and poppa couldn't do much without being punished, Francesco was young when his father tried to keep him away from shady business he could have been involved in but he never succeeded, Francesco learned to live life on the other side of the law, all though it wasn't the best way of life that's the only way he knew, several years passed. the Falcone family struggled to put food on the table with the little income the family had. It wasn't until Francesco turned 16 he was fully introduced into the Crime family running out of his small town, the family his father was involved in and did all his business with, Francesco was like a new tool for them, someone they could send out to do all the dirty work, all though Franky did small time jobs, him and his father saved up enough money together to buy out an old beaten up garage in their town, with some time and effort they were able to open a mechanical garage in the heart of their city, it was called Lake View Auto Repair, the name wasn't anythin' fancy but it was the best we could come up with, me and poppa tried to keep our openin' of the garage on the low to the local but eh, that didn't work out to well when my fathers boss came to the garage with his nice set of wheels, I remember him steppin' out with a bat and smacking father in the face, he demanded a 70% cut of all profits before leavin', it forever left me horrified of goin' near any mobs ever again. when I turned 18 I decided I had enough of that shit, poppa was to far in the family to just step away, they were hopin' to fully initiate me within' the comin' months. After a long talk with my mother and father we decided it was best Francesco left Italy, the reaming money they had earned was given to Francesco and he was sent on a boat across the pacific, he ended up in Cuba for a few months workin' for some gook named Alexandro, the pay was low but he kept to it for the time bein', he didn't know where else to go. As the months passed he saved his money earned from the small time job he worked, it didn't help much but he was able to find someone offerin' to smuggle people over the border from Mexico to the US, only problem was they wanted a heavy pay to get you in, Francesco took the short route, the more shady path, he started buying and selling Cuban cigars, then he moved to Cocaine, every ounce was a profit that could be doubled or tripled, he took everything as a win and never a loss, within a two weeks Franky managed to make around two grand in dirty cash, he quickly made more connections and his cash was being laundered into clean cash he could use, another two weeks pass, and Frank had saved up enough money to leave Cuba, he took every penny he had and got on a boat with a passport and left Cuba, his entire life was bein' left behind at this point, he knew there was no returning to Italy, not anymore. within three days Francesco's boat came in through Florida, when he first stepped off the boat he was shocked, surprised what America had to offer, it was hot and rigid but he was happy to have finally made it. Life in Los Santos When I first landed in Los Santos, it was like a new beginning. I was worried but happy at the same time, happy to finally be in the "big" city it was all new to me, especially what american had to offer, I never seen anythin' like it before, everything a person could ever want was right there if front of your eyes, cars, freedome, girls, money, opportunities, all right there just waiting to be taken. My first couple of days in LS proved to be rough, I drove a four door sedan from the rental shop, barely had enough cash to do anythin', by morning I woke up in the backseat of my rental vehicle, it was uncomfortable and awkward but I dealt with it, I knew if I wanted to survive in LS I needed a job, and I needed one quickly, I went around to all the local mechanic shops stores, bars, clubs, whatever I could think of, I was offered a job over at that shop Auto Exotics, I thought 'bout it but it was a little to highkey for me, to much traffic, to much attention in one spot, to much trouble for me. I continued looking, I went from simple bars to expensive high ends ones looking for a job to earn some cash, I finally landed a job in a garage named Riverside Rods. The owner there he eh, he seemed a little weird, all the guys that always hung around the place, all the expensive vehicles they owned. I was smart though, I kept my mouth shut and worked, business went smoothly in and out, no attention was drawn, everythin' was goin' perfect until one night, Frank got a call from a co-worker "Paulie", asked him to meet up in a parking lot, alone, by myself, I eh, didn't think to much 'bout it I showed up and I seen another two co-workers, Tommy and Louie. They tied me up put me in their truck like some hostage and away we went. I still remember that night quite perfectly, everythin' that happen. Throughout the ride, they seemed very upset, almost like somethin' big had happen, by the time we finally stopped I remember we were at a house and a boat dock with a shed, I remember Tommy punchin' me in the face a few times, Paulie finally told him to cut it, save the rest for the boss, when I heard "the boss" I had a lot goin' through my head, I was worried if it was the people from back home, that they somehow followed me to LS, but no, I was wrong. I remember hearing a vehicle pull up, doors shutting and boots hitting the pebbles on the ground as they walked closer I started to gain some fear, until they entered, the main man himself, Tino. big jacket, old motherfucker I could tell instantly he was Italian and the man standin' next to him, Mike. he wasn't no different, as I looked around the room It was filled with a bunch of Italian motherfuckers. I was sure It'd end there and now, that night, but it didn't, it was about somethin' did the night beforehand, they let their new toy "Louie" break one of his legs, cracked a rib and let him walk home, wasn't the best night, but after they were done and they left Francesco was happy to know they weren't after him from Italy. 'bout a month passed and the garage owner Troy offered Franky a place in his crew, the first step in being involved with the family. He graciously accepted the offer and he was given a swithblade which he holds dearly to him. Francesco knew the life he was stepping into by joining a family again, he wasn't afraid of the same mistake his father made though, things were different in LS. He was given many opportunities to make cash and he took them, if he wasn't runnin' with his crew during the night to highjack a car or two then they were out the next with a target on someones head. business ran smoothly real smoothly, the cash comin' in was so incredible it was amazing, the structure built up the connections the family had, we were a true power in the city, and whoever touched it would disappear.

  9. It sure does sound promising and can be easily based on the brewery script we've got running for some time now (obviously with several adjustments and tweaks). The suggestion also seems to support player-to-player interactions in-game and contribute toward creating advanced roleplay scenarios for everyone to participate in (especially for players portraying illegal characters) - which is something we're currently trying to push the server towards.

  13. This makes sense for some names. In order to help the confusion I think the idea of adding a white/gray background the names like suggested above would be a good start.

  14. To be honest, everything I see here is lack of maturity from the community and lack of professionalism from some people in the staff team, considering their comments and the way they take on players, in every conflict both sides are at fault, remember that, not to be rude but that is the truth, for a community to work out staff needs to listen to the community's feedback and the community needs to be less oligophrenic. Compromise must be shown from both sides. Now, this is a thread about the changes made to the staff team, not a debate wether the player or the admin is right, let's keep it that way. Congratulations to everyone, and good luck Dominykas.
