  3. Suggestion Short description: Non-Emergency Hotline Detailed description: The script, or rather the number, would redirect the caller to a dispatching team, requiring necessary information as in "Who do you need to talk to?", or "This is the Police Department's non-emergency hotline, how can we help you?". The caller then states the situation, followed by the answer "You request will be handled. You will receive a call from one of our employees." - You can put into it whatever comes to your head. The non-emergency lines for the police is then tinted in some other color or in a light blue, or it declares itself as a "NON-EMERGENCY CALL". Commands to add: / Items to add: /call 991 - or anything similar. How would your suggestion improve the server? A quick and efficient suggestion which comes in with more pleasure to police officers, but also for the cause of roleplay. Since there is no available line where you can call the LSPD for non-emergency related situations. Wheater it's getting documents for their PF license, or when someone is in need of police assistance which can be handled via the phone. There are several reasons for why it could be used. Additional information: That's it!

  4. Campobasso, Italy c. 1947 Little Beginnings 1940s Campobasso, Italy. This particular scene that had been kept in the far back of the history shelves had a meaning to a certain group within this part of Italy at the time. A sprouting criminal organization, an organization of which would carry on the DiLeo family name. Street gambling had been the first and the most early of rackets they operated in their local neighborhoods. Before long, the games had reached all the way to Salerno and to Acri, there were going to be problems to deal with. The violence and rage which carried on from all the way back to the days of Mussolini and the war's aftermath, people were still very much disturbed and willing to turn to other groups such as these for protection or to have someone 'taken care of'. Much of this violence however, misguided, was generated from such gambling among the streets of Italy's cities and towns. Eventually, this form of gambling and all of the organization's other sources of income and asserting power would come to the shores of America. Left photo: 'Jackie' DiLeo (center) with former consigliere Richard 'Richie' Macra (left) c. 1999 | Right photo: Alleged DiLeo associates c. 2009 Road to America The DiLeo Crime Family was not akin to the longtime established 'Five Families' of New York, although business associations among its membes was encouraged within the family. Of course, this reputation with them was to be earned, this was expected of them by the other dominant families in the entire state. As a new demographic to the Cosa Nostra scene in America, the DiLeo Crime Family would eventually see more growth than ever with their street gambling racket and extortion rackets, even though this form of gambling died down in 1971 in which the family turned to sports betting. 'Jackie' DiLeo, the alleged boss of the DiLeo Crime Family, ended up on good terms with two of the New York families. By 1977, the commission had finally found the right suitor to a new group of business partners. Alleged DiLeo underboss Patrick 'Patsy' Abruzzo escorted by the FBI Present Day In the late 1990s, the DiLeo Crime Family had become decimated on the eastern seaboard of the United States. Only few remained, those who decided to continue this thing spread out entirely. They cut off loose ends and looked to keep things quiet for the time being. However, later on there was somewhat of a turnaround with the boss not in any kind of incarceration. The west coast faction made up of DiLeo remnants would soon come to be, but it would all have to start from square one.

  6. Make it another number, but please? /call 411?

  7. I like the idea as it simply makes sense to have different types of calls to be prioritized over others. There's no need to call 911 for non emergency matters.

  8. The answer is very simple. The staff team was very light on enforcing quality during early 2018. As a result, anyone and everyone managed to join the server and then eventually we hit an extremely peak due to that (among other factors). Another reason was switching to Rage. Our last platform had insanely low performance rates and was notorious for crashing 24/7. So basically speaking, we let everyone in and then we switched to a better platform which made us peak as a result of both hype and an overly relaxed attitude. However, Rage naturally had it's own issues so some people (including once I used to RP with) decided they don't want to come to the server before 0.4 On top of that the hype caused by us moving to RageMP died. The platform is nice but it has it's own issues and honestly, gaining over 100 players during peak time in a week or two was obviously not going to last. People got excited, started playing and then eventually decided to focus on school, other games,etc... which is why we reverted to our old peak. The staff team also removed a good chunk of problematic players from the server which included both rule breakers and people with low RP quality who weren't willing to take constructive criticism. We decided that the server was not for them. The server became a medium RP hub for a lot of people and that was never our intention. Other players felt the server was too strict for them and left as well which in my opinion is good. This is a text based RP server with high standards. it does not serve people who are looking for lower standards and lower realism boundaries which is absolutely fine because there are servers out there which do provide that. You can easily compare what happened to joining a TDM server and then acting surprised when the owner kicks you out for shooting your own teammates. Yes, you joined a DM server but it had its own set of rules and boundaries which you had to follow which is why the solution would be switching to a different type DM server instead. To sum it up, the peak was a combination of temporary factors as well as permanent ones. We have a good amount of players IG and on top of that, we're getting more and more people to join every weekend. While some people might say that reaching the highest peak as fast as possible is the right answer, we firmly believe that reaching the same peak at a slower rate while maintaining quality is a much better solution.

  10. Indeed it was, and we did actually get above 350+ in the period right after switching to the RageMP platform. So invite your friends and we'll be back at those numbers in no time (-;

  16. Personally I don't see the issue with the two minute timer, it's convenient if anything. The amount of deaths I've had due to bugs or falling with jump r is huuuge. I wouldn't want to be stuck on the ground for ten minutes waiting for it. But the auto respawn, I don't think it should be a thing at all. Players should have to decide when they respawn once dead. Giving them a chance to roleplay things like coroners, etc. Maybe adding a drag feature or something along those lines to pull people into the back of vehicles so they don't need to be /revived on scenes and coroners can actually remove dead bodies. All for the sake of immersion after all! I hate roleplaying with the ground.

  18. You know who I appreciate? @Nervous This guy has a full time job which is demanding as all heck and finds time to not only fund a gaming community for this message to be posted on, but actively develops a script and yet still finds time to interact with players and be an all around chill guy. He doesn't get enough respect for this.
