I dislike the fact that people suggest doing this throughout IC means. We have the possibility of role playing real life cars, real life brands & real life events... why not real life minor laws like this? It’s really immersion killing when you can serve time for possession with intent to supply when you’re smoking or even carrying weed. We don’t have the necessary resources to appeal for this law to change IC so why do we have to keep repeating the same mistakes other heavy roleplay servers have made? Whilst I respect that we have our own penal code, we need to really start thinking about what’s best for the server and what’s best for the role play immersion. There’s far too many organisations selling weed like it’s a drug to be risking getting caught with... come on guys, please think outside of the box and ask yourself if it’s really something necessary to have to go through the process of legalising what’s already legal in the majority of states in America, especially on the West Coast. Without being taken wrong here - the police use many acronyms and policing methods the LAPD use, gang members listen to certain West Coast rappers and SOME of us base our gangs / organisations off real life West Coast factions. Double standards are highly frustrating!

This is going to be controversial and it's really a matter of opinion. The mining bonus encourages more people to mine, it's as simple as that. We don't need to incentivise more people to mine people will do it anyway as it's the best paying job by far. By removing the job bonus we will get a better distribution around the other scripted jobs at all times and we will no longer encourage something that really shouldn't be. When the mining bonus takes effect it really detracts from roleplay as many people flock to the hills, the other jobs simply don't have as much pulling power. Remove mining from the job bonus rotation!

Now, after you /showlicenses to someone, you don't get a message that says the command worked like "/me NAME has showed his licenses to NAME." It should be nice if you can add a /me after you write /showlicenses because right now it's annoying

Agree. Also agree with removing all bonuses as it's dumb if players are RPing and 'suddenly have to go' simply because of a magical scriptwise force. As for mining, I'd love if it became a resource only relevant for construction, and not indefintely sellable to a black hole.

Well, what do I say? I'm Holly, for a start. Nice to meet you! I feel a bit daft writing this, but I suppose it's a good idea. I'm essentially keeping a diary of my time here in the amazing city of Los Santos. A bit about me As I said, name is Holly. My full name is Holly Julia Marshall, and I was born in Barnet, East London on the 12th of April, 1995. I'm in my last year of university, I'm studying Painting as a Bachelor of Arts at Camberwell College of Arts. I've loved painting since I first tried LSD when I was 18. I loved the freedom it gave me, and the drugs helped inspire me to see the world in a different way. I love painting, and art in general. I'm all about the street culture, y'know? That's why I dress "strange". I think I'm eccentric, even if I am just a druggie art student. I know pretty much everyone in my course, and I'm always throwing maaaad gaffs in my shitty flat. I've turned it into a little pad, which is chill, and people are free to drift in and out as they please, as long as they don't steal shit. I'd like to say I'm a chilled person, and I think I'm fun to be around. I've met so many people over the years I've been at university, and I've been to so many parties, events, gigs. I love my life as a student, and I'm gonna keep listening to music, taking drugs, and enjoying my time doing what I love. I had quite a good upbringing, despite being a little shit in my teen years... Anyway, we'll get to that in a minute. Growing up in East Barnet, I was very much a little village kid. I went to the local school, had local friends and only went into the city with my parents occasionally. But high school changed that a lot... For example, being caught by my teacher smoking with the "cool kids" behind the school at lunch time wasn't exactly pleasing to my parents. How stereotypical, huh? I met a lovely boy called Luke in my 3rd year of high school... He fucking flipped my life upside down, but I'll always have to thank him, because I'd still probably be the boring village girl otherwise. We started "dating" and eventually "had sex" ... (about 30 seconds long round the back of my house, the most exciting thing in the world when you're 15). Luke had a shit upbringing, which was surprising for the area we lived in. He was in a flat with his alcoholic parents. They seemed to like me, but mind you they were drunk all the time. Anyways, long story fuckin' short, we spent most of our high school time together ditching it and going into the city to kick around skateparks, smoke, drink and do all the other things useless teens do. It was fantastic. Over that course of a few years, there was plenty of fights, fun, injuries, hangovers and teenage angst. I still have this fucking tattoo on my hands that says "PUNK TEEN". It makes me think of all the time I spent, not regretting anything. Fuck it, I still live like that. Wanna see some pictures I found? This is me, age 15. Thinking I was cool, riding a BMX and listening to the Sex Pistols. What was I wearing?? Passed out or sleeping? Who knows. Smoking was my second favourite thing to do in the park. One of my mates even helped me learn guitar.

The Pier So, bit of a random story here, but I thought "I may as well write about it." After meeting a few of Randy's friends, in particular a charming guy called Franky, he asks me if I want to ditch the club. I think "sure, why not" and join him in his car. We chat a little, flirting and what-not, then we pull into a car park. I think "shit, is he just gonna kill me or something?". Turns out, he knew I was a 'party animal', and several lines of coke later we're speeding along on our way to the pier for a swim. I can't really remember much, but I remember shouting "I LOVE AMERICA!", leaning out the window of his speeding 4x4. So we pull up at the pier, and I say "Let's go for a swim!". We strip down, naked I think, and do a few more lines. Obviously by then, we were pretty buzzed, so I take his hands and give him a grin. "Let's jump off the pier!" I exclaim happily. He grins, agreeing, and on the count of three, we hold each other's hands and... SPLASH! It might not look it from this photo, but the pier is REALLY tall.

Good evening everyone, Tonight we are congratulating the promotion of a new head of staff! Who is he? Here are some tips from his tester application back at server release in October: Did you get the name now? No? He ended up joining the team as a tester a bit later, and quit it for a while. He joined back in February and became a staff member at the end of the month! We accepted his past as he did show he could be serious here, and it ended up being our most respectful admin. In 3 months, he was able to grind up from admin level 1 to management thanks to his hard work and dedication. I have never seen anyone complaining about his decisions as he always does his best to explain these, and he knows how to perfectly behave despite his "LSRP" lovely past according to his colleagues :) Congratulations to @Ikechukwu for becoming Head of Staff and joining the small circle of management members!
